I would choose Mudkip because even though he is weak to most of the Grass-Types he helped me get through some gyms. It is really helpful when you are out to the world with it and I played w/ Mudkip in Emerald and it sure does help me. I like also that it can have Dive I like its move called Mud-Shot or whatever its called.
