or
he couldn't sleep because of the loud snoring next room. he calls the room (he knows the room number) and wakes up the snorer. he goes to sleep before the snorer can get back to sleep and snore again.

The answer to the first riddle is a raincloud, if I'm right. The second one, the answer is a towel, or a sponge, or even ice. I'm guessing the answer to teh third one is his reflection, and the answer to the fourth one is he chocked on the phone cord.

They're not really all that hard....
