In the span of time it had taken Kowabi to explain her purchases, wipe away his unnoticed tears, and to retrieve her own sandwich and eat it, Fefnir had devoured the remaining contents of the bag sloppily and with much relish. It was greasy, though, and that feeling was clinging to his mouth, dulling it and distracting him mildly. Hi quickly grabbed a napkin from the bottom of the bag and inserted it into his mouth to remove the unwanted texture, and just as quickly pulled it out when he deemed there had been enough time passed to rid him of the remnants of the mass-produced stuff. Of course, he wasn't ungrateful; he appreciated that she'd brought him something to eat. However, he wasn't a fan of fast food. It always seemed so wastefully expensive, even the so-called 'value menu'. He could create most of the things they served in bigger quantities for less money on his own, so Fefnir had never actually gone to very many restaurants. It always seemed, at least to him, that there was something missing from their cooking anyway. It just wasn't as good as homemade, period.

Fefnir tossed the napkin into the empty bag before complying with Kowabi's request. He didn't really give much consideration because his stomach was full and he was content with that, so he simply followed the instruction. He question, however, was a different story altogether. This one, he'd been waiting for. "Umm..." he hummed, pretending to have to think about it, "I'd really like to go somewhere where there's a lot of flowers, like a garden or something..." He looked over his shoulder, a doleful, pleading look in his empty eyes. Amie had loved flowers. Flowers, and exotic birds. And if he was lucky today, he might see some of the fancy tropical birds she used to keep in their home. "Could we... could we do that? If it's not too much trouble, of course..."
