Shiki tilted her head and ever so slightly, a very small lift formed in the sides of her closed mouth. She turned and continued looking at the scenery again.

Evan watched her for a moment and then walked in a different direction, to examine a kind of flower he hadn't seen before.

Shiki walked along like nothing happened. She stopped occasionally to look at a plant.

Shoxie kept on absorbing his precious sunlight. Some would think he'd be tanned with the amount of sunlight he absorbed, but he stayed the same shade of white as before.

Evan finished observing that flower and moved on to the rest of the garden.

Eventually Shiki found a bench and she sat down, looking blankly ahead. She was done here already, but she was patient. She's a killer, she has to be patient.

Shoxie laid backwards onto the soft grass. He sighed, still taking in the sunlight through his skin. Suddenly, he felt a drop of water on his cheek. "Hm?" He looked up. The sky had dimmed. A few more drops fell and it started to rain.

Evan looked up at the sky when he felt droplets falling. He look they may have to find shelter from the storm that appeared to be forming.

Shiki's head tilted upwards at the rain. It made her recall that night in the bamboo forest...That was the last time she heard of her other self, the one she lost. Her lost time. Kokutou under her and her knife at his neck.

Evan walked towards where SHiki was sitting. "We should try and find some place to wait this out," he suggested.

Shiki looked over to Evan. Because her face had caught some rain drops, it looked like she was crying. But she wasn't. She stood and walked over to Evan with her hand behind her back, "Where's your friend?" She questioned, her voice cold.

Shoxie got up and heard them from across the garden. "I'm here!" He shouted out to them, waving. Suddenly, a few plants started moving. The flowers started to wilt. The ground turned into thick, stick mud.
