Hank wandered into the town, unsure where to start; he spotted a small town map and made a note of the local marketplace and pokemon centre.

He stood in front of the sign for a moment before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small bar of chocolate, he unwrapped it and broke off a small square, he was about to eat it when something knocked into him, Hank was thrown onto his front, he shook himself and scrambled to his feet, he looked around for whatever creature had bundled into him spotting a small round figure triumphantly waving at him with the chocolate bar in the other hand.

"Hey get back here, that's mine!"

Just as Tim ran out of Route 29 with a knocked out Chikorita, he was about to collapse from exhaustion, his legs very wobbly, breathing heavily. He slowly makes it to the pokemon centre, but only just.
" Morning Nurse. You busy right now?" He says just as he pulls out the pokeball Chikorita was in.
"Morning young sir. This centre is pretty stocked right now, so if you do need to rest a pokemon, come back in a few minutes please." She smiles & takes the pokeball just as Tim's legs slip under from him & his body rests on the front wall of the desk, putting it on a machine to rest fainted pokemon.
"You ok?" She asks, checking on him, not getting a word from Tim because of the heavy breathing.

Creeping up to the tree she peeked around to see a wild Munchlax! "Hey!" She cried, it was eating her muffins! "Laax?" He bellowed mouth full as he took another muffin and shoved it in its mouth. "Give me those! They aren't yours." Jasmine snatched the container of muffins away from the hungry pokemon. "Munch-muuunch..." It said sadly giving Jasmine the saddest look ever and the trainer couldn't help but feel bad for taking the muffins. "Here." Jaz compromised, as she went to the table giving Chikorita a muffin that she happily started eating. Going through her bag she got a pokeball and went back to the Munchlax. "If you want more muffins you gotta come with me, okay?" The hungry pokemon cheered and clicked the button in the center of the ball and wa brought inside. The ball didn't shake or anything, Jasmine was surprised it could work that way. Keeping her word she released the newly caught Munchlax and handed him the rest of the muffins. "Laaax!" It said smiling. "Alright, you got your muffins, but you gotta eat and walk, okay?" Nodding the pokemon chanted, Lax lax lax lax lax..."

It took quite some time before Tim was able to speak at all & soon verbally gives the nurse his number to basically call for the healed Chikorita, staggering to his feet, heading out of the centre & heading to the shoreline for a quick rest. He was exhausted thanks to his rush to get all the way from the eastern-most ledge of Route 29 to Cherrygrove in sandals no less, & he looked like he was sick drunk. His face was pale, body was redder than a lava pit, & his muscles looked like someone bashed him with a sledgehammer.
Just before he collapsed again he just barely made it to the shoreline of the city, barely able to move, throwing his backpack off him, & soon passing out.

"No!" A woman yelled. "I saw a bug! Right over there!" The lady screamed once again and Melony jumped.

"I'll uh get rid of it," Melony offered. Once the lady nodded, Melony followed where her finger pointed. Melony reached into a strawberry bush and pulled out a Caterpie. "Aww it's so cute!" Melony said. "I don't suppose that this is the thieving pokemon?" Melony asked politely.

The lady shook her head side-to-side and said: "Please get that thing out of here! I'm deathly afraid of bugs! But...... If it was a Butterfree, I wouldn't mind it. Thank you for your help!" She said thankfully.

Melony carried the baby Caterpie over to Calvin and spoke softly: "May I have another try? All I got was this baby Caterpie..."

Calvin thought for a moment and he said: "No. I'm sorry, but it was a one try thing. Besides, these old bones wouldn't be able to travel very well anyways. But what I will tell you is important if you want to watch pokemon. I want you to watch this little one grow. I want you to draw pictures and keep records of it. Become friends with it. Wait till it earns your trust until you capture it. Until then, cradle it. Protect it. Make sure it's safe."

"I'll do it!" Melony said. She said goodbye to Calvin and finished her business in Cherrygrove before leaving. Caterpie was in her arms and she was ready to head out.

After being asleep for a few minutes or so, Tim soon barely hears the noise of a pokemon nearing his backpack just as it was going into it & stealing some berries from from his backpack. By the time he got up to check on his backpack, the pokemon was gone & so was a few berries.
What the hell? He thought as he was double-checking his backpack. He then soon looks around for it around the town... behind houses, inside flower beds, near the shore, & found nothing. He then knocks on a door of the house closest to the shoreline (the old man's house basically).
"Excuse me sir, but did you see a pokemon around, stealing berries & what-not?" He asked.
"Yes I have, fine lad. Bleedin thing been rampant around here for months. Bout yer waist tall, twice yer width." He replied. (yeah... epic fail for me trying to make him sound british)
"Kay, thanks." He then once again did another quick scan.
Damn. Thought something so fat it'd be much easier to catch. Wait a minute..." He then thought, grabbing a cupcake out of his backpack & making a trap near the old man's house.

Opportunity Strikes!

When Czar arrived at Town he went to the nearest pokemon center as he went in and healed his pokemon, while waiting for the treatment, Czar looked at his Poke Gear and waited as he begins to wonder what's going to happen later in his journey, He took a deep breath as he watched over the healing process, as he began to snack on a couple of chips and water, he over head a few people talking about a mysterious food snatcher. "Hey, did you hear about the mysterious food snatcher" the guys began to speak out. Well, not that much but he's pretty annoying; considering that he's a sneaky one, Man either a trainer is not feeding him much or the fact that something's wrong."

As soon as they finished talking, Czar began to think in his head. Hm. . . a Mysterious food snatcher. . . I wonder if I should get involved in this. . . Looking over he noticed a few pokemon talking in their language about what's going on. It's obivious that they're angry about the food shortage. From there, Czar looked at the Ceiling fan; wondering about where to go next and about that mysterious food-stealer and wondering if he should get involved. . .
