Zaine smiled as he saw Genji launch the kick, he seemed to have forgotten that Zaine's Zanpakutoh was right in front of its owner, "Nice try, but no such luck I'm afraid." he stated and posistioned his foot under the hilt of the sword, bringing the sword into the air with a kick, "Now let's see if this works!" he said as sweat beaded on his brow, focusing reiatsu to his right foot Zaine kicked the airborne blade, upon contact releasing a burst of reiatsu that sent the blade screaming at blindng speed towards Genji's leg, meaning that if Genji blocked it with is foot the next target would be the Shinigami's torso.

Genji focused reiatsu into his foot and used the metal strips on his sandals block the sword. Then he had to keep the sword away.
"Hadou 4 White Lightning!"
He shot the lightning at the blade to swat it away.

(The post was a bit confusing but it works lol)
"Hey! Nice shot!" Zaine's voice came from above Genji, "This will be a bit harder though!" This statement was proven by the fact that Zaine had launched himself into the sky as soon as he launched the sword, posistioning his path into that of the sun's light, making it impossible to directly look at Zaine and target him for kidou. Zaine used this cover to use another burst of reiatsu to send him hurdling towards Genji, his foot set to deliver a crushing blow.

Genji shielded his eyes with his hand. All he knew was that Zaine was up there somewhere. Genji pulled out his zanpakuto and used its brilliant polish to reflect the sun's light that was guarding Zaine's image to blind him.

Zaine chuckled, "Clever but for nothing I'm afraid." Zaine said as he closed his eyes against the glare, his path continuing directly to Genji, the attack almost unavoidable but for almost divine interception. "Shoulda moved."

Genji held strong. He raised his sword to block and hoped for the best. He felt the strong pressure of the impact and was pushed back. Genji strongly held the parry and began to push Zaine back.

Zaine grinned as he felt himself being pushed back, "Let's see how long you can hold on." he said as he released a stream of reiatsu from his back, increasing the strength of his attack and slowly pushing Genji back.

Genji felt the reiatsu in Zaine build intensely. Genji exited the parry by jumping back, and to keep Zaine at a distance...
"Haido 4 White Lightning!"
Genji fired off a bolt of lightning at Zaine's feet and prepared for a counter.

(Sorry, I just began Shikai training and things got jumbled about)
Zaine grinned as the hado was released, "Myakuhaku hen hari" he released the reiatsu technique through the soles of his feet, destroying his sandals and socks while sending Genji's attack back to the sender.

Genji had never seen that technique Zaine used and was caught quite a bit off guard. Though he did try to dodge, the Haido still knicked him in the shoulder.
"Clever move," Genji congradulated. "I hope you can still fight barefoot."
Genji came fast and strong with his sword. He Launch several lightning-fast thrusts of his zanpakuto for Zaine's chest.

Zaine smiled, "Thanks, and I think you should worry about that shoulder not my feet." he said wryly, matching Genji's strikes with almost no difficulty, sparks flew from the collisions and Zaine grinned exstatically [sp]

Genji then changed his tactics. After several sharp thrusts, Genji then made a strong overhead slice. Reiatsu was pumping in his arms, causing his arms to glow with blue light. The attack would severely shock Zaine to the core at least.
