She knew he was holding back, and was actually grateful to him.
"I appreciate today's lesson Captain," she said, sheathing her zanpakto. "Here let me help you," she offered, walking over to him.

She pulled out a roll of bandages from her Shihakushou (no need to know where xD) and tore a moderate amount off. He offered his arm up, she took it gently, then wrapped the bandage around his wrist as best she could, wihtout cutting off the circulation to the rest of his hand.
"There," she said, and tore the loose bandage wrapping off with her teeth.

Meag smiled up into his handsome face, bowed, thanked him for the lesson, and began to walk away. "I'll see you tomorrow Captain. Please heal."
She walked out of the training building and outside. 'Wow it's dark.' She walked throughout the Sereitei finanlly coming to the foresty area near the back of the whole area. Her quarters were back here. There was a strange sound coming from behind a tree. Meag stopped at stared at the trees.

Ryu used his Bokken Zanpaktou to help him stand. His joints popped as he stood up. He headed for the back room of the Gym, he slid the paper door open, and walked into the Black room, lit with only 4 Red candles in each corner. Against the back wall was a mirror, with a long cabinet with a Sword Stand on top of it. A bed lay in the right corner, all made up and ready for a body to sleep in it. Ryu stepped into the room and slid the door shut, he pulled out his bokken and placed it on the Stand, Kanji facing toward him. Ryu stepped back to the pillow in the middle of the room, he looked at his Zanpaktou as if a beautiful woman were standing before him. He soon snapped out of it and put his knees on the pillow, sat in a meditative pose and closed his eyes. Ryu fell into a deep meditative state. Smoke billowed from his wounds and formed an aura around him. The wounds started to heal as the smoke cleared. Ryu opened his eyes and stood up, he cracked his neck and joints before he headed for bed. He slipped into something comfortable and hopped into bed. A breeze came though the room and blew out all the candles simultaneously. The last thing heard before all fell silent was Ryu whispering, "I'm getting to old for this job".

She waited, one hand resting on the hilt of her zanpakuto. A minute passed, nothing. The shadows within the forest seemed to swirl around each branch ominously. A ice-cold shiver made it's way up her spine, causing her bosy to convulse. Meag took a step back and turned around, heading back towards the training grounds. The breeze whiled her hair around her face as she quietly entered the storage room, with training equipment. Her hand grasped the handle on the door, and she slid in unnoticed into the dark room. She performed kido and held a ball of energy in her left hand, while her other hand found a candle in the newly created light. She lit it, then placed it in the very center of the room.
After opening a cabinet, and while grasping a wooden zanpakuto, she began to practice.
I will get better Captain.

Off in the distance a low rumble sounded, a thunderstrom. Suddenly a lage explosion at the Dojo sent shockwaves in every dicrection. A group of four ninja's Raided the Dojo and Ryu's quarters. Finding nothing, they looked for Ryu. He was Gone.
The Thunderstorm grew near, Lightning sould be seen in the distance. Within a few minutes the storm was on top of the Storage building the Meag was training in. The building was dark, exept for the small candle in the middle. A cold breeze blew in as Lightning stuck a tree outside. The Flash illuminated the room, showing Meag training, the epuipment, and Ryu standing in the corner with a red scarf around his neck blowing with the breeze. As the light faded Ryu could not be seen in his current position.

Meag traced her steps, and practiced the move she had been practicing in secret. A form of shunpo called Senka. This move could seal away another's Saketsu, using stealth and speed. She huffed as the movement wasn't fast enough. She prepared herself again. "Rarr!" A flash and she was ten feet away in less than a second. She fell to her knees, and grinned at the ceiling. "I'm getting good...Captain...," she said in the silence. Meag walked over to the cabinet, set the wooden zanpakuto in it with the highest respect and then walked over to her candle. The lightning outside lit the room and cold air blew in, causing her robes to billow around her feet.
Meag unsheathed her zanpakuto Sasibari and placed the tip into the small flame. She swung her zanpakuto in a circular motion around her then placed the tip onto the floor next to the candle. Her forehead rested on the hilt of her longest friend, and she listened to it. She knelt there in silence for a while then opened her eyes and gazed straight ahead, a small smile on her face. "I Meagan Fumirika, now choose a new name, hoping to begin a new journey. In order to unlock the power within, I shall now be known as Yumi Kouensha!" She got down on both knees and lifted her zanpankuto into the air. It lightly lifted off her fingers and hovered in the air. Yumi bowed her head to it. Thank you for the prophecy Sasibari.

Ryu, who was relaxing in the corner, eyes closed, arms crossed, whistled a soft low tone and then spoke as his position became known. "So....You're to be called Yumi now?"

A low whistling noise eminated throughout the room. Yumi turned her head to its source slowly and fell backwards as she gazed upon Ryu.
"C-C-Captain?" she choked out, stunned. "How long have you been here?!" Her arms waved above her head like an idiot and pulled a face. "Why do you always sneak up on people? How'd you even get in here? Why didn't I sense you? Why? How? Ah!Ah!Ah!" It wasn't that he had scared her, it was just that he was so good at appearing to be invisible that it made her flustered. In a daze she replied, "Yes, my new name is Yumi."

"I'm not at Captain's rank for show", Ryu smiled. "I have to hold the position by showing my powers in extraordinary ways". Ryu shunpo'd over to Yumi and helped her up, "Sorry i frightened you...I just had to see what you were doing in a storage building. And I came in through the door. Ryu let out another smile.

She let him help her up and gave him the "I know I'm just in denial" look. He was so powerful she couldn't process it, let alone get used to it; the man got more powerful every day! Yumi gave him a small smile back. "I like practicing," she told him. "Makes me feel like one day I might be your Lieutenant."

Ryu began to think, stroking his chin as he looked up into the air. "Now that I think about it, my Lieutenant position is open..." Ryu looked to Yumi,"you may have a better chance than you think".

She gazed thoughtfully at him. "Thank you. That means a lot to me," she told him truthfully. Her voice was filled with emotions. "But I know I am not as good as the other officers. And if I do succeed in becoming your Lietenant, I want to be respected as a leader, not someone who was chosen because she knew the Captain. I want to fight for that position, even if it costs me dearly." 'I will become a great soul reaper,' she told herself.
***Ever since the day I had entered the Academy, I had loved being a soul reaper, and wanted nothing else but to become a legendary hero. It has, and always will be my dream. When I met my Captain, he was already high in the ranks, and me just a beginner. Something about that man captured me though. He was wise, powerful, graceful, and trustworthy. Just by watching him talk to other officers, and walk around the barracks, I could tell all of that. From him eminated a light that was my path to greatness, and ever since, I have idolized this man.
Yumi had been gazing at the wall, swallowed up in her own mind. She was too lost in thought to hear the noise of someone unsheathing their zanpakuto outside.
