Just for the record, not American. But I'm pretty sure I wasn't included in that anyway.

But you do live in America, don't you? Living in America = people are going to refer to you as Americans
My family is from Scotland/Wales/wherever my mom's family is from.

Damn being born in America! My family is originally from Canada and Ireland.
In my Mormon days I hated all races except for white people. Thank God, I’ve learned the error of my ways. Now I’m okay with all races, I just hate annoying and stupid people.

I find it funny that people want to blame us for everything wrong with the US. Because you know, we're all under 18 and we have complete power over what our government does.
For the most part, none of us chose to live here. I certainly did not. I was just born here. That doesn't make me stupid or arrogant. I hate people who bash America, especially when they have the nerve to call us arrogant. But they play that BS "Oh, our country is so perfect. Yay England!!1!!1!!11!1!11!!!!1!!1! OMG AMERICUNS R SO AROGENT."
No country is perfect. You think America is a messed up place? Go to Iraq for vacation next time.

@ Fear Loops: Sorry.
I just know I'd rather be German than American. But America isn't too bad, I'd rather be American than say, Chinese or something.

You're talking like being American is a heritage or something.
I'm Scottish. But I live in America. Therefore, I = American. If you were to move here and obtain citizenship you would be considered an American.

I found it hilarious how most of you were willing to sell-out your own American nationality to point out you were other things.
If you were born in America = American. If you're a citizen of America = American. Get over it. I had this same conversation with some stupid b***h who kept nagging that she wasn't American because her family was from Scottland and I wanted to punch her in the ******** face. That doesn't make sense. Really, it doesn't. She was born here, she's American.
Now sure, America isn't great. But I don't say "I'm Mexican" or "I'm Guatemalan." I'm stuck with it, might as well be proud of it. I'm ********' American and if you think I'm arrogant 'cos of it, you can suck my d**k you foreign b*****d! AMERICA! ******** YEAH!

Just curious, do any of y'all have "Insert your state here" History classes? I was talking to someone once and they thought it was weird when I mentioned that we have Texas History classes.
