" Maybe that's the reason why" "You can't ever fly..." Cαsτειιo "Take away the blue..." ______________ "SKEEEEEEEEEEER!"
It was known as the Banshee's Cry. Castello's screech was said to herald imminent death, which held more than a mere kernel of truth. The enraged Raven had flown all the way from Fefga's mansion under the influence of the Tervingi Crest, and by now his sanity was rapidly slipping away into the dark, gaping maw of the beast within.
Inside every laguz is a raging, terrified, berserk Feral One, a bundle of instincts and base needs that, unleashed, will override any cognizant thoughts. The Tervingi Crest, while endowing Castello with his incredible strength and speed, was wearing down the barriers around those instincts.
Once more, his screech pierced the evening air, and his shadow passed over the small army, wings spread wide. He was beyond help now. He knew only death and pain, and how to deal it.

The group arrived in a huge clearing at the mouth of a dark, deep cave...
"He's in there..."
Hearing a screech, he looked up and around for the source of the sound.

"Oh no! Whats that sound!?" Fa asked as she transformed and put soren under a nearby tree and looked up to see what it was.
"That sounded like a dying bird. Im not sure. " John looked up as he readied his steel bow and slung an arrow on and saw what in the air it was.

Really, this was all nothing but a mess. People ran off, came back nearly dead. People came from nowhere, nearly dead. Sister Victoria heals them, they rest. Over and over again. The tedium of it all, simply unnerving. And what could he honestly do to help? Nothing. People went off in their own little groups, got into scuffles, came back, he doesn't even know they're gone. Just as the madness of boredom began to settle in, that weird child from the last catastrophe showed up, beckoning them all to follow.
Nothing more than sheep, I swear... Following this child without so much as a question of his loyalties could be little more than a trap. So, his arrows still unused, his mind craving a few shots of the bow, he melded into the group, following them to their destination. Sister Victoria was there, so it didn't look like it would be too boring, what with her penchant to be in all sorts of trouble.
Whether she knew it or not, Arashe kept a watchful eye on Victoria, prepared to send either a volley or arrows or hurl a knife at anything hostile. The silence was unnerving, the man faced with feelings of unrest as he anticipated the arrival of these fabled Heroes. It would take more than just force to bring them to their knees, a fact Arashe knew all too well from Easter, the scars from his fight with Tibarn still leaving the occasional sting. So, he readied the Ichival, its holy arrows primed to fell any normal opponent.
A screech.
A large raven flew overhead, chills sent down Arashe's spine. Bird Laguz were to be feared in combat, and for one to be a Hero? Things were looking grim already.

Amelia grinned at Leon, wrapping on arm around Rhys' shoulders. If she had anything to say about it, he wouldn't be injured. Nothing that couldn't be healed easily. Amelia held her lance in her other hand, listening to the others as she walked. "Well, Leon, I know you can handle yourself. I just don't--"
"SKEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!"
Amelia's eyes shot upwards. She could see the faint form of a large raven above their heads, wings spread wide to either side of its body. Her eyes widened. "Ca... Castello...?" she breathed in shock.
Annis didn't miss Castello's shriek; she halted in mid-air and found herself staring as his huge laguz form came streaking overhead, the shriek rattling out of his beak and deep into her chest. The panic came quickly, face paling. Why was he attacking now? Why was he attacking, period? And why was he this enraged...? To approach would be certain death, but to abandon the people of Eyris... what was she supposed to do?
"Castello...!" she hissed, the panic clenching hard at her chest. She drew her daggers, but didn't approach anyone, just hovered in the air. What was she supposed to do...?

Out of a wall, Mika arrived suddenly with the heroes and the Madriana morph. She looked up into the sky, pleased that Castello was arriving too. She glanced around and immediately caught sight of the Eyris citizens.
"Well Hello!" She said, a dark smirk forming on her face. "This is just wonderful. So many of you in one place... Ripe for the picking!"

The raven screech made him look up, yet seeing it made him feel a bit more...out of place. Oh dear, against these odds, can we win?
...Well hello. This is just wonderful...ripe for the picking "Oh great, more people. Looks like this fight will be more interesting now..."

A sudden screech was heard. Ephraim shot his head up toward the direction and stared at the crow.
"What is-" he hadn't had a clue what on earth that...THING, was. Was this a laguz? A raven? Ephraim didn't know but it obviously wasn't going to lead to anything good any time soon.
"Well Hello!"
Ephraim spun on his heel and came to face a strange, yet creepy girl. "More things I should learn?" Wait, so many? She didnt' seriously think she can take out everyone here at once..does she? This girl was obviously way in over her head.

Amelia turned her wide eyes away from the raven overhead at a painfully familiar voice. "Well, hello! This is just wonderful. So many of you in one place... Ripe for the picking!"
Her fear and shock shifted to a scowl. Her gaze darkened. She slowly strapped her lance to her back as she drew her Iron Bow, an arrow in her fingers. "Ripe for the picking? That's a good expression... because we aren't going to fall, you are, you traitorous little b***h!" She didn't ready the arrow, but they were in her hands, and her fingers twitched on the handle of the Iron Bow as she pointed at Mika with one end. "You stole our home from us. You nearly stole my family from me, and for what? To further the ambitions of an evil god that doesn't give a s**t about you?"
Amelia glared. "If you think you can kill any of us... you have another think coming."

Octavio blinked and looked at Mika and the heroes. "You... What do you have to do with him anyways?! Do you realize whom it is you're helping?" Octavio looked around, a bit panicked, at the rest of the heroes. He hadn't expected extra forces. He may have expected morphs, but not these people... He thought they were far away. They must have used the door...

Rhys kept silent. He'd removed one of the staves, his back (oddly enough) to Mika. Arrogant Bishop! Did he not realize who he was dealing with!? But no, he turned around once again, presenting an admirable poker face to Mika, nonchalantly twirling his staff like a baton, a reddish-purplish gem on top of it.

"M-Miss Mika! I... I can't believe... all this time it was you?!" Sue looked upon the Arch Druid, immidiately recognizing her face for who it was. What had happened to her?
There was no time to contemplate that as the raven's shriek startled the nomad. She'd drawn the Sacred Bow of Winds, but remembered how Castello had deflected her arrows easily before. What was she to do? What...?
She couldn't think like that! No.. instead, she kept the bow aimed. Even if it didn't hurt him once, she'd keep Castello's beak from her allies.
Leon froze too at the shriek of the Raven, and it was only for a a second. Get a hold of yourself, he's gonna pierce ya! He gripped his poleaxe, not sure how effective, if at all it would be on a Laguz. He noticed Mika's arrival... "So, yer the 'un causin' all this ruckus! ... this all be endin' t'day, miss Dark User! I be assurin' that!"
He's here! Victoria didn't have time to be overjoyed at Arashe, but instead she got herself ready for battle by opening the Aura tome. There was the evil... right in front of her. "The Lady St. Elmine... and the Goddess gave me wonderful gifts!" she declared. "I believe you all... were the reason for them!"

"s**t, baby! That'sa numbuh!" He shouted, then stepped back with one foot, and genuinely looking surprised. It may have been a village revolt, it could have been a personal army, it could have been anything. He didn't know much about the place to really find out. The women were good.
Oh, were the women good.
Earth separated with the crowbar resting in it. He could trust his weaponry to live it up. Actually, he was getting pumped as the more people came into view. "I do believe I'm feelin' stronger every day."

"Well, may as well get ready." Moving a hand to the handle of his killing edge. Best be ready to strike, since they could do anything at any moment...will we have good tactics here? Or are we on our own for attacking them, to try and take them down?

"Well this aint gonna be hell. That raven looks pissed. And that little girl over there aint doin my stomach none too well either." John said as kept the arrow in place waiting for the right time to shoot it at the raven.
Fa was worried about soren and got infront of ready to burn down the raven that was coming straight towards them.
