Oh brother...
Daishi sighed, shaking his head at Bardok.
"To put it in simpler terms...Quit fighting..."
Turning to regard Vain, his expression became much graver.
"You killed Cyrus, as well as your ninja friend, Kasumi was her name I believe...Though now that we know you didn't mean to and that it was an act of your darker side, Catalyxe doesn't, so he may try to kill you later once he takes care of the things in Auro. At the moment, these two apparently need you to free a kingdom or other. I'll explain things to Catalyxe later when I've the chance. Now, can anyone tell me precisely what is going on that a kingdom needs to be freed? And who are you two?..."

Bardok: Tch, fine. Strangers, follow us.
::Bardok and Izumi lead Dashi, Travis and Vain unto the kingdom doors of the Thunder Kingdom, and into the dining room::
Bardok: Alow me to offer you all shelter and food.
::He told the servents to make a giant feast::
Bardok: I am Bardok Suji, aka the Thunder Gunner. This is my kingdom. This short black spastic migdet next to me is Izumi Uzumakai.
Izumi: HI!
Bardok: Here is a quick berfiing of our current situation. 12 years ago, a new ruler was apointed to the Darkness Kingdom, yet nobody knows who he is. 11 years ago, he wanted to make peace with the other kingdoms, as a way to begin a new life of harmany. 9 years ago the Holy and Darkness kingdoms form an alleince. Current day, we're at war with the Holy and Darkness kingdoms. They distroyed many kingdoms already, only my kingdom, the Thunder Kingdom, and Izumi's kingdom, the Fire Kingdom, are all that can actualy stand against them. Izumi and I have tried many times to invade the main stronghold of both the Holy and Darkness kingdoms but to no success... Are numbers are getting lower and the moral is dropping greatly. In Izumis and I's past lives we were of the 8 strongest warriors of the Elemental Kingdoms. To this day, we still are, but its just us two. But when we found out that the strongest one of us, The Dark Knight, or as you call him, Vain, was reborn we had to bring him back to save his kingdom
Izumi: In his past life, the Dark Knight was the most feared being alive. This was about.... 200 millenia ago. He alone would obliterate armys of 1,000+ troops on his own. But, he was being mind controlled by the ruler of the Darkness Kingdom. So when he broke free from the control, he killed the ruler and decided to help the other 7 legandary elementals save the realms from Kyros. If you don't know who Kyros was, he was the only elemental alive who had all 8 elements flowing through his soul. When we killed him, Dark Knight turned on us, because there was another who controlled him. It was his brother, Dracgoon. On this day, our intell belives that it the reborn form of Dracgoon that has taken over. Dark Knight is the only one with the power to stop him.

Daishi nodded his thanks, though he ate little, preferring to observe their surroundings and the strange company he was now in. He listened intently to their tale, though from his relaxed posture, one could think he was hardly paying attention.
"I see...Well, then, perhaps I may provide some assistance as well if need be. However I must inquire, if Dracgoon was able to control the Dark Knight then, what stops him from doing so now?..."

Izumi: The Red Moon. When it effected him, its purified him and placed a seal. Not even the greatest of mages could place a mind control spell on him.
::Vain started to shake, taking in all of what they have said::
Vain: Am I really that horrible?
Izumi: Yes.
::Vain stared blankly at his food, wanting to scream so badly::
Vain: I will make up for it... I will help you, and redeem myself. I will repent for all that i have done, and I will save people.

Soldier: SIR! We have reports of a few newcomers to this your realm.
Dracgoon: And who are they?
Soldier: One apears to be a demon, the other we are not sure of, but the last one...
Dracgoon: WHAT ABOUT THE LAST ONE!?
Soldier: Um... its your.... brother....
Dracgoon: So... The Dark Knight walks the plain of the living once more. Send 10,000 troops. 5,000 of them Holy Elementals, 2,000 Darkness Elementals, and the rest Undead elementals.
Soldier: YES SIR! Our troops will be there as early as the next day, around afternoon time!

Izumi: Daishi was your name right? Do you intend on spending the night here? We can have a room set up for you.
::Bardok turned to Vain::
Bardok: By the way, we have something for you Dark Knight. Its your old armour.
::Bardok brought out a suit of armour. Its was all black. The knee cap area had two 4 inch spikes on each side. the guantlets also had retractible spikes that could go a total of 3 feet long. the guantlets fingers were also shapped like claws. And the back of the armour had demon shaped metal wings::

Daishi nodded, returning from his thoughts.
"Yes, I believe I will if you'll permit me to do so. I'd like to learn more of the situation here. Perhaps I'll provide some assistance as well..."
He did a quick scan with his senses, checking out the castle and the nearby surrounding area. He didn't sense too many powerful auras, just the ones within the room. He decided to do a more thorough search later when alone.

Annoucer: Ladies and gentlemen! This is the final round! It will be an 8 man battle royal! The strongest fighter from each kingdom duking it out! Here are the fighters:
Darkness Kingdom: Vain Ziler. Weakness: None. Strengths: Magick and his sword skills. Weapons: Masamune.
Holy Kingdom: Elise Raka. Weakness: Always holds back. Strengths: Magick. Weapons: Bow+Arrow, Excalibur
Thunder Kingdom: Bardok Suji. Weakness: Way to trigger happy. Strengths: brute strangth and smart. Weapons: Modifier Pistol
Fire Kingdom: Izumi Uzimakai. Weakness: Girls Strengths: Sword skills Weapons: Magma Ryu
Ice Kingdom: Asuka Meji. Weakness: Uses only magick Strengths: Speed Weapons: Only uses magick
Wind Kingdom: Sakura Bahamut. Weakness: Over Arragent. Strengths: Dragon Armour is unbreakable. Weapons: Spear.

OK! So let the fight begin!
::Vain raised his sword and pointed it behind him::
Vain: You will all die now. BLACK WAVE!
::He swung his sword and unleased a wave of dark energy at everyone. Everyone manadge to dodge it, except Katama, her right leg was torn apart.::
Elise: MONSTER!
::Everyone saw Katama fall to the ground and snapped::
Elise: RAINING JUDGEMENT!
Josh: ROCK BLAST!
Bardok: BIG BAD THUNDER SHOT!
Izumi: VOLCANIC CANNON!
Sakura: DRAGON CREST!
Asuka: ICE SHARD!
::The attacks came rushing at Vain with full force. Raining Judgement is an attack that imbunes arrows with the Holy element and homes in on the target. Rock Blast is an invisible wave that goes through the ground and throws debris at the target. Big Bad Thunder Shot is a bullet that has been charged with 10,000 volts of electricty and fired. Volcanic Cannon is a fireball that is as hot as lava. Dragon Crest is a beam generated by the eyes of a wind elemental that also has dragons blood in them (Sakura's dad is Bahamut). And Ice Shard is just a bunch of icicles luanched at the target::
Vain: Pathetic.
::Every hit landed and cuased a fog of smoke. When it cleared, no one was there::
Elise: Did we obliterate him?
Vain: SUCKERS!
::He apeared behind them and started slahsing away. Elise was knocked down, Bardok was horribly stabbed, but Izumi, Josh, and Sakura were fighting back. Sakara lounged at him with her spear, Izumi started to use his sword techniques, and Josh started to punch him::
Hooded Man: ENOUGH!
::They stopped to look up::
Hooded Man: You eight are our saviours. I will NOT have you kill eachother. SLEEP!
::A huge blanket of mist filled the areana, so powerful that even Vain fell asleep::

Daishi sat in his room upon the bed, his legs crossed and in a meditating position. Calming his breathing, he once more cast his senses out, probing the area for anything unusual while his physical body was resting.

Katama: Since we first started this jounry.
Vain: A little over a year ago.
::the 8 elementals were sitting under a bunch of cherryblossem trees, eating lunch::
Vain: Remind me again why I am help you guys, and not killing you.
Izumi: Cuz, you want to show us your power by killing the legendary elemental.
Vain: Legendary my a**. Just becuase he has every element in his soul doesnt mean he is allmighty and powerful. All I have to do is use Shadow Flare.
Elise: You know, for a guy who fluants his power, and brags about his "ultimate move" I have never seen you use it.
::Vain just got up and went for a walk, Elise followed::
Elise: You going to answer my question?
Vain: You never asked me one.
Elise: Yes, along time ago, when we started this journey. I asked you why you chose to kill?
Vain: Death is the answer to all problems. I have something i need to solve, and will only find it through killing.
Elise: And what would that be?
Vain: Will I find the one, who I can't kill. The one who will end my rain of terror. The one that will kill me. The one I will love.
Elise: Find anyone like that yet?
Vain: You.
::They were suddenly attacked by a gang of thieves::
Vain: Good, I wanted to end this moment.
Thief: Listen up! Just give us your money, and the girl, and it will be all over.
Elise: I don't think so. i am not and ordinary girl!
::Vain drew his sword and used Black Wave, to shut everyone up. Elise just gazed in surprise as the theifs body parts fell to the blood soaked ground::

Bardok: You do relise that when they come, we'll be outnumbered?
Vain: Your point?
Bardok: Im just sayin that if we are outnumbered by like 200, it will be a slaughter.
Vain: I know.... they need atleast 300 to pose a chalange.
Elise: HERE THEY COME!!!!!!
::5,000 demons, angels, and elementals came charging to their location::
Josh: HOLY ********: Damn... looks like they heard you Vain... and decided to outnumber better....
Sakura: CHARGE!
::The 8 elementals charged at the on coming forces. The battle raged for hours, death was everywhere. Demon body parts were sprawled all across the ground, angel blood soacked the ground like a lake of blood, and even the once allied elementals, were suffering greatly to the 8 chosen ones. It seemed like it wasnt going to be long till they won, but then it happend::
Elise: AAAAH!
::she was stabbed through the back by a demon. the sword was poining out through the front of her body::
Vain: ! THIS.... ENDS NOW!!!!!!!! I call upon the powers of darkness! Fuel thy rage, ignite thy anger! SUFFER!!!!!!! SHADOW FLARE!!!!!!!!!!
::A huge wave of dark energy flew for every direction from Vain's body. It wouldnt just stop, it continuesly poored out, demolishing everything withing 3 miles of their location, even his own allies, were almost harmed by his slaughtering move::
Izumi: What was that!?
Vain: That, was my Shadow Flare.

Daishi was knocked out of his meditation by a scream and his eyes snapped open, jumping to his feet, his sensitive ears ringing. Looking around, he didn't sense any other disturbance in the castle, no explosions, no soldiers storming the place, only the scream. He quietly left him room and followed the sound to Vain's chambers, opening the door.
"Are you trying to wake the dead? There are better ways you know, not to mention quieter..."

Daishi's eyes softened as Vain mentioned nightmares. Remembering Vain's shocked reaction at what he had done when he was under the Red Moon's influence, he reached out a friendly hand to pat him on the shoulder as he walked by.
"Remember, whether they are true or not, they've passed and the future can always be changed. See you in the morning."
He walked back to his room as Vain went outside and lay on the bed, his hands behind his head as thoughts floated through his mind before he drifted off to sleep.
