Yes. Prideful indeed. Mock said out loud to himself, after Nero had left. Well... I suppose there are worse things than pride. And pride can be a good thing, if properly driven.
Much had changed since Mock first became a Shinigami. It was good to have something of his past to hold on to.
Standing up and smoking for his pipe, the Captain left the office. Upon reaching the outside of the building he noticed that Amatsu had left. Hatsu remained there, and he sat next to her.
So tell me, little fox, what seems to be troubling you today? he asked with a smile.

Hatsume::. Having been outside for the duration of he time afterwards; she noticed Nero leave and walk pass her. It alerted her, was Mock going to come out soon...? Her ears seemed perk and listened in now, but her eyes drifted downwards to her black furred feet. And sure enough, came Captain Mockadash.
Looking to him she returned a smile as he questioned her. Her tail clung to the side of her waist. "....Ehh... Well." Her over expressionate face shifting once more as her ears flopped down to each side of her skull, her brows frowned nervously. "...I've been needed to ask something of you Captain. I didn't know if you were busy or not, so I kinda kept quiet." She paused and returned back to her former friendlier facial feature, still showing abit of her nervous emotions. "...Before we went to take back the Sereitei I made a promise to myself! That I'd work hard to try and hear my buddy's name, and reach the level of Shikai; If I wasn't able to do it before- I'd certainly do it after! But I need your help... T-there is one more thing I'm really wanting to learn." She exhaled softly, finishing her small little response in telling what was bothering her. "I really want to know how to flash step. I find it more important to know then even demon magic. I can catch up with following the movement, but if my body can't keep up with me- it won't do me well against the foes who do know how to use great speed." She looked to him, curious on how'd he react... so, nervously she brought up a smile.

(( What nickname, Hatsu-chan? "Little fox"? xp Anyways, you know OOC already that I'm about to teach you shikai, but shumpo will have to wait, I'm sorry.
You're one of the RPers on the top of my list for shumpo. You're active, a good RPer - though you still have some things to improve, you have done an amazing job already - and you're respectful of everyone in here. But it's still to soon to grant you that, unfortunately. One step at the time, Hatsu-chan.
The seating tournament will begin shortly. After it's done, and you get a seat, depending on what seat you get - in accordance to your ranking on the tournament - this process may be accelerated or slowed. So basically, the permission to learn shumpo sooner or later, is up to you! ))
I was going to ask you the same thing, Hatsu-chan. Mock said as he smoked. I believe you have evolved since you've joined this Squad. I think you're ready to learn shikai. I have a method of my own, that usually works and helps you discover the name of your Zanpakutou. But ultimately, it all depends on you being ready to hear its name or not. I'm only doing this, because from what I've seen of you, I believe you are ready.
The Captain stood up and turned around to face Hatsume. About shumpo, I'm afraid it's too soon to teach you that. Simply because you wouldn't be able to learn it. You need better control over your Spiritual Energy in order to learn it. You don't even know your Zanpakutou's name yet. Be patient little fox, take one step at a time.
Turning around again, Mock signaled Hatsu to climb onto his shoulder and shumpoed away.

Hatsume::. The kitsune listened, curious to what he had to say. It brought joy to know he was already thinking of it, continuing to listen she brightened up a smile. This smile firmly stayed with her even after Mockadash had let her know the down-news about Shumpo. "I understand, I guess that's the reason not everybody knows it... well, I took the chance." She shrugged in her joy, taking Captain Mock's advise to heart. One step at a time. Thus, she followed his gesture to climb onto his shoulder , clinging firmly yet with a gentle touch as to not harm the fabric of his clothing.... and was lifted away! Wheee~~ It was the closest she could flash step for now~ whee

Jin walks up to the large building and looks up at the 13th Squads sign hanging from above the door. Taking a deep breath, Jin walks up the stairs and to the sliding door. She takes off her straw sandals and walks in. Stopping at the security desk she tells the guard who she is and that she was there to report for training from the 13th’s Captain. The guard tells Jin where to go and she makes her way through the build to the Captain’s door. Stopping before the door, Jin fixes her uniform and then knocks and waits for a response ….

Jin walks in and closes the sliding door behind her. She takes a couple of steps forward and then bows to Captain MockaDash before saying, "Sir, I was told by Razil-San to come see you for training. I'm not sure what he has told you about me but I would be happy to explain everything to you if you have the time of course."

((No! No! You got it all wrong! You did the right thing. I was the one apologizing for the short post, but there really wasn't much more I could say. I was just getting the action going. ))
If you're here for a training, that has already been appointed, don't you think I have nothing but time to listen to you? This is why you're here right? The Captain bluntly said. The man was smoking from his kiseru, sat behind his desk that was filled with several stacks of documents. And also as always, he was hearing his kasa hat and flower-patterned haori even indoors.
The opened window behind him, allowed for a mild breeze to invade the room, and fight off that thick atmosphere. The trail of smoke coming out of the pipe, as well as from the Shinigami's nostrils, made its way through the open window and towards the exterior. It was as if even the smoke was trying to break free.
MockaDash hated having to do paperwork! Training Jin would be a good excuse to get away from it.
Sorry if I seemed rude. I was just scaring you. Mock said with a smile as he got up and moved towards the small desk in the center of the tatami floor. Come, sit here. I have some tea ready. Would you like some? he gave her a wide grin, so wide that it was perfectly noticeable behind the Captain's scarf and eyepatch. You can tell me all about yourself and what you are doing here!
Oh! I'm MockaDash, by the way! he said as he bowed slightly towards her. Captain of the 13th Division, The Divine Protectors!
But something tells me you knew that already!

Jin says, "Yes sir, I know who you are and I would love some tea." Jin walks over and grabs a seat on one of the floor cushions. Looking at Captain MockaDash Jin says, "Sir, I have dedicated my life to healing those around me. But, times have changed. I need to be able to not only protect myself but to be able to protect my patients when the time comes. Now there is an Arrancar that has attacked 1st Squads dojo and he is after me for what reasons I have no clue but, I need to come full circle in order to at least defend myself and my clinic. I need you to train me in my final lesson and that's my Bankai. I know this is a big request but, this is part of the deal that I have made with the Soul Society Captains. I gave up my right to hold any and all seats. I agreed to be nothing but a healer and to heal everyone and anyone. My Shikai and Bankai evlove around healing and this is the last step in my training. Would you do me the honor of training me in my final stage?"

Mock couldn't help but express his surprise. Ban... Kai??? The Captain was already having some matcha, facing Jin in the opposite side of the small square table. Razil-kun... he said, talking to himself. I was expecting to teach some kidous, or sword techniques... Probably even shikai, though I never thought that you hadn't attained it yet... But Bankai??? Why didn't he told me beforehand???
Mock's gaze was fixed on an unspecified point above Jin, as he let his mind wander. The Captain apologized to Jin for his maundering, and with a smile, he addressed her. I'm honored to be considered worthy of trying to teach you Bankai. But normally the most important thing is, to know if you are worthy of being taught. But that is not an issue now, since you were recommended by Razil-kun. And we go way back, when I was still Vice-Captain of your current Division. No! In fact, we met while I was still the 3rd Seat there!!!
Tacking a short break to smoke from his pipe, paying careful attention so that the smoke he was exhaling wasn't directed towards Jin, Mock said, as smoke was still coming out of his nostrils and mouth A healer you say? And may I ask you something? - if I'm not intruding, that is - Why would a healer and also a protector, chose not the 4th nor the 13th Division, but instead the 1st?

Jin looked at the Captain and said, "I was assigned to 4th Squad when I came out of the academy but I never made it to the squad grounds. The Soul Society was attacked and I had to run to a portal that took me to earth. I was the only healer on earth for weeks before my squad members made it to my location. I healed hundreds of Shinigami from every squad while on that farm. When the squads went in different directions I still had no clue if anyone from my squad was alive and at that point I had hooked up with Captain Evil-San from 10th Squad. She took me with her squad to her forest and I was attached to her squad as their medic. Months later I hooked up with Herimi-San and she took me back with her to 4th Squad. I reported in and went from no seat to 8th seat in weeks because of healing abilities. But, I'm not the type to sit there and wait for wounded to come to me in a tent. I wanted to be on the battle field where I was needed. So, I hooked up with Yuki-San and became attached to her squad as their medic. Now, some of what I am going to tell you is suppost to be classified but, I know I can trust you. While first assigned to 1st squad I helped save our former Captain Daven Moto's life. He was defending one of the pillars and was wounded. The Captains and Vice Captains came together and requested my healing help for the leader. Since then, I have been trained in every healing kidou from Hirimi-San. I have been trained in my Shikai and I have an appointment to train with Captain Daven Moto to learn a special healing kidou from him as a reward for saving him. But, just being requested by all the Captains and VC to help was reward enough.
So, that is my story. That is why I am sitting her. I'm a healer first and for most but, if I have to fight ... I will lay down my life for any of my brothers or sisters no matter what rank or squad they come from."

A smile was seen across Mock's face, behind the veil of tobacco smoke coming out of his nostrils. Indeed, someone like you is well fitted to be in the 1st Squad. No doubt about it! Finishing his tea and standing up, Mock muttered some words to himself, as the wound in his left eye, seemed to ache. Daven Moto-san, huh? I wonder how that b*****d is doing...
Turning to Jin, he stretched his right arm to her, offering his hand in assistance so she could get up easily, and asked Where do you want to train? Do you have a specific location in mind? Or is it up to me? We'll need a secluded place, if we're going to aim for Bankai.
Let's remodel some landscape, shall we??? he grinned.
((A PRP maybe? So you can put a link to the thread on your profile? ))

Jin took the Captain's hand as he helped her up. Looking at the Captain Jin says, "Sir, would you like me to take a look at that eye of yours? Have you ever had anyone look at it for you before? I can tell that it bothers you and I can make the pain go away if you like. As for the training, I want to train somewhere safe sir. I don't want to have to worry about that Arrancar. I just want to focus on my training."

I appreciate your concern, I really do. But there's no need for your assistance. I lost this eye in a battle, much like the one you're about to have now. It doesn't constantly bother me... Just from time to time...
Turning around and heading for the exit door, Mock muttered once more to himself. From time to time... And glancing over his shoulder, he said to Jin And stop calling me "Sir", Jin-kun. Call me Mock!!! He smiled at her, as he left the building.

Jin follows Mock out the door and out of the building ....
