Sue was startled to find that others were starting to move upstream, but at the same time, it was a pleasant surprise. It meant... they were being looked for? Good to know that the small group was actually missed.
"At the moment, we're just returning to camp..." the nomad replied to the new face, a sniper by the looks of it. She hadn't noticed Blossom trying to force open the locket...
But Leon had. He thought of his own precious keepsake, the Griffon crest that clipped his cape together. The amethyst coat of arms was the last reminder of his home in Archanea... and his very first knightly vows. The watchman couldn't say he agreed with his country's later methods, but he could say that he still thought that being a great knight was in his capability..
And as such, chivalry was a significant part of his mind. The black-armor-clad knight dismounted Anri, placing a hand on Blossom's shoulder. "I dunno if ya should be tryin' t' find the secrets in 'is necklace. We all keep 'em for a reason, don't we? C'mon now... lets get 'im back where 'e can be taken care of by th' healers."

At the touch of Blossom's hands, the locket lit up, and various markings on it started glowing in bright colors. Then, it easily opened up. Despite the almost magical properties it was showing, its contets seemed very simple.
In each compartment in the locket there was an item. In the top one there was a compass adorned with a golden net over it.
The lower one was an idol, also in gold, in the shape of a woman holding a gourd, with her face lowered.
There was nothing else one could see with the eye, but there still seemed to be...something special about the locket.

Blossom silently studied the contents of the locket. A figure and a compass...? She turned her eyes to Lance's face, then slowly closed the locket. She would have to ask him about that later. For now, she turned her eyes back up to Leon.
"He needs to get back to camp, yeah... someone's still there that can heal him, right? Unless the Concoction could have already done that job..." Blossom turned away from Lance and looked at his clothes, sitting in the grass. "Um... could we get his clothes dry and re-dress him first? It might... um, be awkward to get him back to camp with him nearly naked..." Blossom just let Lance stay against her until then, though; it had to be more comfortable to sleep against a person than the hard ground.

((Poasting as John)) Well as he saw it, a naked man need a healer and the camp had one of those, luckily. "I agree. You dont wanna make that man more sick if he's naked and traveling through the forest." he said as he studied the mystery man a little more.

Leon nodded to Blossom, agreeing that Lance would be very cold and likely humiliated if he were to show up in front of the entire camp in his underpants. Luckily he'd never had that embarassment... right? Then again, who knows what happened when he passed out in the snow? He did wake up in only his chain-mail.
Not pleasant thoughts! He shuddered at his still lack-of-memory that day seven years ago, and instead of thinking of it further, he was going to spare Lance a similar humiliation by slipping on his now mostly dried clothes. It was kind of eerie, putting on the thief's clothes for him, he was so limp that it was almost as if the scoundrel was dead. Of course Lance was too warm to be dead... but it was still creepy.
"Tha should do it...." Leon muttered, while afterwards, lifting the thief up and loading him upon his steed. "Anri, let's carry 'im. Go slowly, we don't want 'im fallin'."
The horse seemed to agree, as when he was commanded to move, he did so slowly.
Sue in the meantime started to follow, only grabbing Andre's reigns and walking beside him to give her horse a little bit more rest. The two of them had faced a lot in the past few days, and they were ready to just collapse into merciful sleep.
Their problem still wasn't even close to being solved either. They were still exiles, no matter how hard they fought to change their situation. It was again looking grim for all the FEFers.
But Sue didn't feel like giving up... not when she'd fought this hard. They'd regroup again, make a new strategy, and hope for the best. That was all they could do.

Blossom slowly helped Leon dress Lance in his clothes again, taking care to not disturb the 'bandages' around his chest. Blossom let the strip of ruined cloth that used to be her vest stay on the dirt as Leon put Lance on the back of his horse. Sue was already following him, Blossom realized. She hadn't been asked to get on back of either of the horses, they just sort of... walked away from her.
Oh well... someone had to put the fire out, right? Blossom picked up the scrap of her vest, carried it to the river to soak it in water, and used the wet fabric to slap out the small campfire still burning in the dirt. When the fire had finally dissipated, Blossom rubbed a small burn on her left hand and looked in Leon and Sue's direction. Already far away... Blossom sighed and ran after them, damp clothing still dripping into the dirt.

Sue was the one to look back at Blossom, she was closer to the back, so the nomad could hear her footsteps more than the other horseman, whom was already far ahead. "Ah... Blossom, we're sorry to have left you behind... we're all only thinking of one thing... and that's returning to the others. They all must be so worried..."
The nomad sighed. "I just can't help but think that... what we did was for nothing... whomever is behind this can just create more morphs..."

Blossom looked up as Sue spoke to her. She had slowed down to let her catch up to her? That was certainly nice... "Ah... Blossom, we're sorry to have left you behind... we're all only thinking of one thing... and that's returning to the others. They all must be so worried..." Blossom took a brief detour, ducking over to a section of shore where she had originally been, strapped her sword to her back, and went back over to Sue.
Blossom smiled and shook her head. "No, it's all right. You're worried about Lance. First priority!" Blossom paused, as if unsure if Sue would let her, then scrambled onto her steed's back, behind the nomad. The combination of running and attempting to put out that fire had gotten her clothes at least mostly dry, though she was shivering a little. She hadn't exactly put much effort into keeping herself warm...
"I just can't help but think that... what we did was for nothing... whomever is behind this can just create more morphs..."
"They'll run outta steam sometime," Blossom responded. She looked over to the horizon, where she presumed the camp to be. "And when that happens, we can strike back!"

"It's true that no matter what the numbers, and who they are... they do wear out. Why, when I faced Mad King Zephiel and the Bernese troops... their numbers were far more than the League's and yet... General Roy and the rest of us seized victory." Sue recalled her dealings of the much later Elibe than Blossom remembered, with fighting the very same troops that stole her home away. Now was no different, these morphs, heroes... they were all conquerors that needed to be stopped.
"And... Lance... he'll be safe... won't he?" The nomad asked that instead of the other question... why are his eyes golden and hair black? Is it a coincidence?

This darkness was starting to get really familiar to Lance. It was as if he was seeing it all the time now.
For some reason, however, it seemed like his sleeping habits had changed. Before, he more often than not just slumped together and was left there. Now it seemed like he got up, walked around, even talked in his sleep. And that wasn't necessarily a good thing.
Lance's sleeping body rose up into a sitting position. "Heeeeey..." he slurred as he leaned up on Leon's back. "You know I love you...right...?" With that, Lance smooched Leon on the cheek, before his whole body swayed backwards, his torso now hanging down the back of the horse, before Lance slipped down. He stood up again, sleeping standing, as he snored. Then he pirohuetted around and wrapped his arms around Blossom's neck. "I love you...too...you're my best...zzzzz...friend...I bloody love you...you're...the...best..."
Then his body slumped down in a very painful looking position, in something that looked like a German Supplex.

~*Near Campsite*~
The silent forest nearly put Ephraim to sleep, and with nothing shifting around, he really did. He slowly nodded off until his left leg fell asleep and he nearly topped over to the side. Ephraim blinked, rubbing his temples and stood up. Blossom wasn't back and neither was that..John..guy. "..They're sure gone an awfully long time" surely it couldn't have been that long since he dozed off. But apparantly it had been..the fire had died out and everyone seemed to be asleep or just very quiet.
"....Blossom mentioned something about going down to the river.." he looked around and followed the path she took.

Blossom definitely didn't expect to see Lance sitting up so quickly. It was rather surprising, though, to see him sit up on the saddle, grab Leon, and give him a nice kiss on the cheek. Blossom laughed faintly, the noise shifting to a panicked cry when he began to sway. "Lance!" she shrieked, leaning over across the horse she was riding to catch him. In response, he flopped onto her and hugged onto her neck, making Blossom yelp in surprise.
"I love you...too...you're my best...zzzzz...friend...I bloody love you...you're...the...best..."
Blossom just blinked. Uh... She looked at Leon, then carefully got him on back of Sue's horse, holding her arms around his chest so as to keep him from doing anything else stupid in his sleep. "Just... keep going," she finally told Sue. Her face had turned pink in embarrassment, though.

Leon froze up, and Anri froze with him. Did Lance just do what he think he just did?! No WAY.
And what was even worse, there the thief went, right off Anri. Didn't that imbecile tell him to give him a ride earlier?! And... the humiliation.... everyone behind them must have seen.
Those facts only made Leon more furious, causing the knight to jump right off Anri, and attempt to grab Lance up by the back of his collar... only for Blossom to rescue him from his anger by putting him up on Sue's horse. "What in the HELL did he think he was doin'!? Does 'e have any idea what he's sayin'?!"
Anri all the while stared at the two of them in utter confusion as he halted.
"You heard her." Sue said to Leon harshly before backing away just a moment so that Blossom could put the thief on her horse. "He's not himself right now... sir. You should remain calm around him... right, Blossom?"
Leon grumbled... but decided not to strike Lance for his actions. He didn't really mean them, right? Just so long as he didn't..
Not wanting to think of the subject now, Leon mounted Anri again, carrying on in a silent bit of irritation. Lance was sure troublesome...

John was walking tree branch from tree branch as he was taught to in his unit and saw a mysterious figure walking along the shadows. John didnt think of what to do and just reacted. He jumped and pulled his fist back and made contact with the mysterious persons face knocking him out. John looked at the person and saw that it was the man who punched him earlier. It was Ephraim! "Oh no. This is some odd luck. Uh...Ephraim...You alright?" he asked poking his head. "Crap..Everyone is gonna think im one of those morphs because of this." he thought to himself as he picked up Ephraim's body and putting it over his shoulder.
