Morph's eyes were already closed when she asked him. "Some sleep sounds quite wonderful." He grinned without opening his eyes and kissed her gently. "Sleep well, my love." he cracked open an eye and grinned wider. "I'll be sure to bring us good dreams. It's in my name, after all." He purred happily and settled in next to her.

She smiled and closed her eyes again and nodded. "Sleep sounds amazing. Its been a tiring day. And i'm glad to be here safe with you now. I do hope you bring really good dreams, i need them." She said as she snuggled down and fell asleep.
Once she was asleep she had a dream about being out dancing with Morph playing his guitar for her. It was sunny and nice and she was having so much fun. But suddenly a large badger, evil with anger came charging over to them. It knocked her aside and went after Morph, breaking his guitar and killing him before turning on her with his huge blood coated teeth. "NOOOO!!!" She screamed, both in her dream and in real life. She woke with a start just as the suns rays began drifting over the horizon and into the dens entrance. She panted as her eyes filled with tears and she hoped that she hadn't woken up Morph.

Ara's scream broke through the warm fuzz of Morph's fairly dreamless sleep. He awoke with a start and sat up abruptly. Somehow he had rolled over onto his back during the night. Quickly turning over to Ara he saw the tears in her eyes and immediately wrapped his arms around her. "What's wrong?" He held her close, trying to regulate his breathing in an effort to calm Ara down.

Ara looked at him. He was alive. It really was just a dream. Everything was ok. She clung to him as she cryed. "It was a horrible dream! Very bad and i didn't like it at all. I never want to see another badger again! Ever!" She said as she held onto him not wanting to let go ever.

Morph was still concerned for Ara but he couldn't help but chuckle at her vehemence. "I think we can manage that." He hugged her closer and murmured comfortingly to her. "But it's OK now. Whatever you saw is gone, we're all OK." Kissing her gently he held onto her for as long as she needed it.

Ara snuggled into him and tried to calm down more as she held on to him. "Thank you. I'm sorry i woke you up hun. I didn't mean to scare you awake like that." she said softly as she closed her eyes hoping that she would be able to go back to sleep again soon...maybe.

Morph smiled and nuzzled her gently. "It's OK, love. Bad dreams happen." He rubbed her back in a circular motion between her shoulder blades. "Would you like to go back to sleep? Or would you rather sit awhile?" He kissed her and hugged her close.

Ara tried to calm down but nodded. "We'll sit here a little longer, i'll see if i can fall back to sleep. Thank you for being here with me hun." she said softly as she snuggled under him. She shuttered softly as she tried to get the dream out of her head hoping that if she fell asleep that she wouldn't dream of it again.

"Nowhere else I would rather be." He kept his arms around her and closed his eyes, already floating back into the content warmth that precedes sleep. He purred gently and nuzzled the top of her head. Smiling, he began to hum to her, a gentle baritone, following the notes of one of his melodies. It was a more Celtic melody, a lilting tune that traveled peacefully in the air. He hummed and sat there with her, feeling extremely peaceful.

Ara smiled and felt herself kind of drifting off to sleep again. She went right to sleep after a few moments and thankfully she didn't have anymore dreams.
After a few more hours of sleep Ara woke with a yawn. She smiled over at Morph and then stretched. She touched her now bare neck and then worked her way out of the tunnel to look around, make sure it was safe and then think about what to get the two of them, food wise. Not sure what he would be in the mood for out here since they wern't near the marketplace.

Morph had drifted off to sleep a little while after her. He floated lightly on the edge of sleep, in that state of conscious where you are mildly aware but you have the benefits of sleep. Morph was a very good sleeper; light sleep, heavy sleep, you name it. He winked back at her when she smiled and smiled gently, his eyes twinkling.
He got up after her and stretched his shoulders following her out of the tunnel. He yawned again quietly and kissed her, wrapping his arms around her. "Did you sleep any better, my love?" He always seemed more huggy right after he woke up.

Ara snuggled him back and nodded. "Yes i did. Much better then the first one. I'm glad i didn't have another bad dream other wise i might not sleep for a week..." she said softly as she snuggled with him. She had never been around anyone but her old master when she woke up so she wasn't used to snuggling, but she was beginning to like it with him. "Did you sleep good? I hope that i didn't cause you to loose any sleep over my bad dream." She said as she kissed his nose.

Morph's eye's went wide in mock horror. "Not sleep for a week? Good heavens!" He smiled happily and looked out at the sun which had fully risen during their nap. "Honestly," He said softly, holding her close, "I'm glad you woke me... I'd hate the thought of you dealing with a bad dream all by yourself while I slept."

Ara smiled a little and nodded. "Well i'm glad you were there then. I haven't had anyone there for me before. It was nice. But i think i want to find another place to live. Maybe we can find something in a tree not under it." she said a little afraid of the earth now. She didn't want to get stuck anymore, even though she knew she didn't have a collar to get stuck on she didn't want to have anything else get stuck. She snuggled into him more and smiled. "What do you want food wise this morning?" she asked with a smile.

"A place to be and a thing to eat... hmm... those are things to think about. We could probably find a wide enough tree around here somewhere, maybe get some blankets or moss or some such..." He kissed her. "Which ever you'd like. But for food...hmm...What do you usually have for breakfast?" He asked, drawing a blank. For Morph, breakfast was usually something quick to start the day, or something quiet. Because of this, he never really had much imagination when it came to breakfast foods.
