Faolan looked down at his pierced navel, tilting his head a little. "How long before it's completely all healed up? Will I need to do anything about cleaning it or whatever?"
He wiped at his eyes with the heel of one hand. "Damn, that hurt."

Adam took off his gloves and dropped them into a trash can nearby before answering Faolan. "I'd give it one to two days before it's fullly healed. As for cleaning it, just use a little hydrogen peroxide every hour, on the hour. It'll help keep it clean until it heals over and whatnot. Until then, do not remove it and do not pull on it. Don't put any unnecessary strain on it until it's healed, alright?"

Faolan looked at his pierced navel. "Alright. I think I can manage all that." He looked up with a wry grin. "And after it's healed, how much tuggin' on it can be done?"

Both Verdant and Adam rolled their eyes and chuckeld a bit before turnign back to Faolan. "I singed your skin pretty well; I'd say a fair amount of tugging can be done by your wife, if that's what you're asking about. Once it's healed, you won't feel even the tiniest bit of pain. Still, don't tug on it too hard or you'll tear it off..."

"I donnae think she'd pull hard enough to hurt me," Fao said, sitting up and buttoning his shirt part-way again. "You sure I donnae owe you a thing?"

Adam waved him off when he brought up payment. "Not even one cent, my friend. Knowing that you like the piercing is enough payment for me- well, that and knowing you'll actually take care of it." He looekd at Verdant and motioned towards the chair. "So, which tattoo you wanna do first?"
Verdant grinned and quickly replied, "Anteros' tribal heart." That tattoo would be going right around his belly button; hopefully, it didn't hurt too badly.

Fao watched Verdant climb up on the recently vacated chair. "I ain't ne'er attended someone else's tattooin' afore. Am I supposed to hold your hand or somethin'?"

Verdant raised an eyebrow before chuckling lightly. "Only if you'd like to, Faolan. Otherwise, not mandatory." Though I probably wouldn't mind, Verdant thought in the back of his mind.
"Alright, the heart it is then. Like I told Faolan, just relax, alright? Same procedure, different art. Now, where's the tattoo going?" Adam was already putting on new gloves as he spoke and examined the tattoo.
"Around my belly button, like a cage." Verdant couldn't wait for the incubus to be done with his tattoo; the sooner it healed, the better.

Faolan reached over and took hold of Verdant's hand, holding it gently. "You know, I donnae e'en remember gettin' my tattoo." He watched Adam get things ready with slight fascination. "Wonnae hurt some around your tummy?"

Verdant's cheeks flushed a very interesting shade of red as Faolan took hold of his hand. "Y-you don't remember? T-that's good, I s'pose. You w-were a baby, right? Must've hurt..."
Adam looked up from his preparations to find the two men holding hands like lovers. Gay men, he would never understand them. Well, except that one time with Verdant and a few friends four years ago, but THAT was another story entirely... "It'll hurt a little, but Verdant's what one would call a masochist; he gets a little... excited when somebody bites him or jabs a needle through his ear and places a metal ring through 'em. But I could be wrong."
Adam bent over Verdant's stomach and grabbed a vial of reddish-black ink from the cooler. He attached a fine needle to the end of it and snapped off the plastic tip. "I don't create tattoos like other people. See, this is my own special ink mixed with a little of my blood. It'll let me fix any ******** that may occur during the inking process." He placed the needle onto the nymph's tummy, a faint whirring sound being emitted as it pumped the ink into Verdant's skin.
The nereid, of course, flinched as the first little wave of pain washed over him. He clenched his hand around Faolan's, maybe a little too hard, and let out a small groan. He was definitely enjoying this...

"Oi, Verdie, donnae go breakin' me hand there, lad," Fao said, wriggling his fingers a bit in the nymph's grasp. "I needs it for turnin' the cards." He watched the needle move across the young man's stomach, eyes half-closed and head tilted. Tattoos were . . . interesting. "Probably is a good thing I donnae remember, as you said. That donnae mean I wouldnae want another some day."

"Sorry," Verdant hissed through his teeth. The pain felt so good, he couldn't help but moan very lightly, barely enough for anyone to hear.
"Jeez, Verdant, don't orkut on my chair! Wait until I'm done, will you?" Adam shook his head a little before continuing. The tattoo outline was almost finished and there hadn't even been any screw-ups yet. This tattoo was easy. "You considering a tattoo? What kind would you get? Oh, help yourself to some more beer if you'd like."

Faolan's ears perked up a little at the moan, but he gave no other reaction than a slightly wry grin. So, that's what set the nymph off, eh? To each their own. He looked up when Adam adressed him.
"Maybe something tribal. Know much about the didikai clans, do you?" he asked the incubus.

"No, can't say I do. I'd ask this one about it"- Adam jabbed a thumb in Verdant's direction -"but not when he's in Superhappyfunland."
Adam continued outlining the tattoo until it was perfect and symmetrical before getting a different vial of ink. This one was a midnight blue color and contrasted well against the deep red of the outline.

"I can probably show you some designs to get an idea of a tatoo for me," Faolan said, looking down at Verdant. "He does look rather happy, yeah? Didnae know pain could do that to a person."
