Artemis thought a moment, "I don't know. Today's Halloween right? Where are first years supposed to be?"

Jude smiled deviously. "Oh, the first years are supposed to report to the Halloween Introductory Room. But I can only show you there if you give me a kiss." He winked at her.

Artemis gave him an 'do I look like an idiot' look, "How about this? I give you a kiss and you show me where I'm really supposed to go?"

Jude laughed. "Fine, I guess that's only fair. But you have to kiss me for a full thirty seconds."

Artemis shrugged, and went on tip-toe to kiss him. It was her first kiss, which kind of twirked her a bit, but it seemed the only way to get through to this guy.

Jude was surprised when the girl immediately kissed him, and he attempted to bend his knees a little so that she didn't have to stand on tip toe. She's actually a good kisser, he thought. He put his hand on the small of her back and slowly broke off the kiss. "Okay, I think that's good." He smiled at her. "You're not bad. And you're pretty cute too." He winked at her.

Artemis looked at him slightly suprised. No one has said she was cute before. Brainy, witty, strange, she'd heard all them before. But not cute. A slow blush rose in her cheeks, "Thanks..."

Aaaaand score. Jude had just won the charm game. He grinned largely. "To tell you the truth, I have no idea where the first years are supposed to go. But if I remember correctly, its quite boring."

Artemis sighed, "Aww...ok. Well then, can I maybe stay with you? To be honest you're the first person to not react cruelly to who I am. Most cringe or start yelling at me. I have to say, I'm honored."

"Oh, right. You're in-" he paused, wondering if he should tell her the truth. Any other person and he wouldn't have, but Artemis was cool. She was the first girl that he actually had a hard time with charming. "You're in the Slytherin common room."
