//ergh...scratch that...I'll be leaving instead of getting another turn on here. crying Though I might be on again later tonight. *crosses fingers*//
The dark red energy suddenly became much brighter and flooded towards the stranger. X had no intention of letting the man leave. The energy engulfed the man with enough force that should easily incinerate every cell in a being's body.

(( Okay... crying ))
The energy glowed brighter, and soon dissipated, as expected. What was NOT expected was the Stranger still standing there as if nothing had happened. The Phantom Stranger turned around, looked X in the eye, and said, "You cannot kill me. You are not powerful enough, and I doubt that the Universe would allow such an event to transpire, anyway." With that, there was no fog, just the Stranger disappearing, until he was gone. But even still, his voice was heard one last time. "Stop while you still draw breath, lest you realise the concequences of your actions too late. Vengeance shall befall you, and it is in some ways much more powerful than I..."

X's eyes suddenly returned to normal when the energy dissapeared, revealing the seemingly unphased man. He starred at the other man a moment, and the dark red glow slowly began to return to his eyes as the Stranger talked. He could feel his jaw clench tightly, as well as his fists.
X stood there for quite a few minutes after the man had left, still staring at where he had once been. Not powerful enough? Stop while he still...
There was a loud and sudden crackling sound, and seemingly out of nowhere, large chunks of black marble stone fell from the sky. A few invisible walls suddenly exloded as well, sending more chunks of stone flying towards the floor. A few areas of the seemingly non existant room began to fade into existance, revealing large ivory columns and black and white marble walls. A few of them, now lined with deep cracks or missing chunks.
After another moment, X finally turned and moved back towards the large and now visible throne. As he made it closer towards his chair, parts of the visible room began to fade back into nothing. The energy that flowed throughout the realm slowly faded back into it's blue color. X sat back down, and stared down at the fading pit in the middle of the floor. A small but clear image of the Earth resting in the center of it.

X sat at his throne and continued to sit and stare at the pit in the middle of the floor in front of him, still stewing over the little meeting he had with the Stranger. The longer he sat, the angrier he seemed to become as he thought. His eyes did not change color, yet they gradually became darker.
Not powerful enough…
Stop while he still drew breath…
Meagerly defended…
There was another loud and sharp crackling sound from one of the many invisible columns inside the room. Slowly X stood and made his way towards the pit, pausing in front of it to stare down at it. After a few moments, his eyes turned pure black.
”I’m the one in charge here.” he said in a gravely dangerous tone.

ENTER from Fisk Towers
Alcina casually made her appearance in one of the realm's that X usually resided, and glanced around for him. She didn't have to look far. He sat in his throne, as usual, staring down at the world below him. He appearantly managed to calm himself down...but the look on his face said otherwise.
"Have a nice little chat." X said outloud without looking over at her.
"I was going to ask you the same thing. But from the looks of the...remodeling you did," Alcina said, glancing down at a chunk of a column on the floor in front of her. "I'd say you've had a bit of a bad day." There was no sence of her usual humor in her voice. She wasn't here to tease him, she was here to make one last effort at something. She was very, very serious about why she was here, and she wanted X to be aware of that from the start.
"Nothing more than annoyances." X growled.
"And I believe that it's going to get much worse." she continued. "That man left no room to believe that what he said was a lie. And with the power he had...I suggest you leave your plan behind. If nothing else, just move onto a different one."
"Thanks for the suggestion...but you're wasting your breath." X replied.
"I thought as much..." Alcina said with a sigh, then walked over to his throne. She leaned over the side of it, resting her elbows on the arm of the chair, and made herself eye level with X. "...there is absolutely no way to convince you to stop then, is there?"
"None." X replied.
"You don't have to do any of this. If a world dooms itself, then it dooms itself. History repeats itself nomatter where it is. You don't need to feel obligated to keep another Kiakuru from happening."
"I'll do as I see fit."
"Even if that means you are killed. Or worse?" she asked.
X didn't answer, but the look in his eyes when he looked over at her did.
Alcina paused a moment, then gently leaned back and stood straight again. "Then I suppose I'll have to do as I see fit as well." she said quietly, dissapointment very clear in her voice. "If there's no way to convince you to let go of your pride, because that's all this is about now. You won't do it for me, you won't even do it for yourself, then I can only count on what that other man had promiced. In which case...there's no reason for me to be here any longer." The look in X's eyes changed a bit, but she couldn't tell weather it was anger, or if he didn't understand what she was implying. She was going to make herself very clear though, so she continued. "If I can't count on you to make sure that you're around, then I don't need to be here. I'm not going to stick around and just wait for you be killed by whoever's comming. If you can't change, then I will. I'm leaving you. I'll find another mate, and this time I WILL mean what I do. I'll find someone that I can count on, and who will be around for as long as at least their lifespan will allow." she said, then paused a moment to let X take in what she had just said. And he obviously did. There was no mistake that the look in his eyes was anger now. "If you don't change your mind...then neither will I."
"Really? I reacall you making similar threats before. And yet you always came right back to me." X said, a bit of a superior tone to his voice.
The dissapointment in Alcina's voice now became visible on her face. "Not like this. I'm as serious as you are. If you're not even going to try...if you're not going to be here for me...then there is no point in me being with you. Aside from my...flings with other beings, whom had showed five times more appreciation for me than you have in millenias, I have been nothing but loyal to you. I stood by you and your decisions without question. If you can't to this, if you won't even try to do as I ask, then I won't ask. I won't be back. I'll distance myself enough that whatever happens to you...I won't be effected by it."
She stared at him a moment, as if taking one last look at him, then turned and walked away from his throne. Without waiting for a responce from X, Alcina suddenly vanished.
After a very long and quiet pause, a few rows of columns suddenly came into view from the darkness. They all exploded and crumbled inside themselves with a thunderous roar. X, who's gaze was still fixed on where Alcina had been, had eyes as red as blood. His gaze quickly shot towards Earth, and the area around the pit that held his visual began to glow as red as his eyes.

ENTER Sholeh from Chooser's Realm.
Sholeh entered X's realm in her usual fashion. A bright flash of light just appearing inside the 'room'. Though...she didn't have her usual bright and cheery expression. She actually seemed fairly annoyed. After a moment though, she smiled and sighed. "Peace and quiet at last..." she mumbled to herself.
Then...she noticed something quite different in the room. X...had visitors....or prisioners. And he never brought anyone here unless he really wanted them for something.
There was a large pink symbiote creature...Greed. The 'Blood' creature from the other world, Rapture. The man who'd gained immortality through experimentation...Kenji. And the human that called himself Phantasm. Or something...she didn't really pay attention. Each were standing, almost zombishly, behind X's throne, staring deadly at the ground.
Sholeh hesitated a moment, staring at the small group, then glanced back over at X. "Um...you don't mind if I hang out here for a while, do you?" she asked. "I need a bit of peace and quiet."
No response...or even an acknowledgement. He was obviously ticked about something. Jeeze, she hadn't seen him be this mad this long in...well, she'd never seen him this mad for so long. "Um...anything you wanna talk about?"
Still nothing.
Sholeh took another glance over at the group, feeling a bit uneasy, then moved towards a broken column and sat down against it. Well, it was still better than listening to her 'bosses' chew her ear off.

X's eyes shot towards the Stranger, glaring almost murderously at him. He didn't say a word...nor did he move. Honestly it almost seemed like he was too angry to.
Sholeh turned and looked over at the Stranger. She wanted to ask him just what it was this man would do to her again. How it could be any worse than what the others had planned for her if she refused to bring the heros back. But...he was talking to X. And it might be better to leave if X snapped again.

The Stranger appeared almost saddened by X's non-response. "I thought as much..." He didn't sound like himself, he sounded like a woman X knew very well. "...There is absolutely no way to convince you to stop then, is there?" His voice then returned to normal. "Those who care about you most have given up on you. I see no reason to not do likewise." The Stranger faded away again. "I wash my hands of the matter. May the Spectre do as he sees fit."

Sholeh watched the Stranger dissapear again, and hesitated a moment before turning to look at X. He was, as expected, still angry. If not more so now. But...there was a bit of a different look in his eyes. Sholeh couldn't quite tell what it was. Surprise? Rage? Confusion?
After a few moments, she stood. Taking another nervous look at the others, she made her way over to X's throne and paused beside it. Still unresponsive. "Why won't you stop?" she asked quietly. Knowing she wasn't going to get an answer, or so much as a glance, she continued. "You...it sounded like you actually have a good choice. He said...my job might actually get me in trouble. And, I can't stop. I can't quit or they'll...I don't really have a good way out."
Still nothing. Being this close to him now, she could get a better look at his eyes. He was still clearly angry, very angry. But...the look behind them...wasn't.
"Don't you care that you might get killed? That you'll leave Al-"
"She's already left." X cut her off, his voice unnaturally calm, even for him. The small group behind him slowly vanished from existance, and Sholeh could only guess that he had sent them all back to Earth. "And so should you."
Sholeh stared at him a moment, a bit unsure of what he meant. She left? As in mad at him, or literally gone? Was he angry enough that he was just going to push everyone away now?
"Should he find me, I wouldn't be anywhere near Exodus. And if he's looking for you too, then you shouldn't be in a place he's looking for." he said before moving back in his chair, relaxing a bit. At least his position was more relaxed. Even the air around him was suffacatingly tense. And his eyes were now fixed on 'Earth', and again there was something different behind them. He was either debating something...or plotting something. "You say your kind are threatening you if you don't do your job? Then stay around Alcina as much as you can. You might as well be a daughter to her. She won't let them touch you."
Sholeh's eyes widened, and tried not to let her mouth drop open. She wasn't expecting that. He wasn't mad at her or anything. In fact, he was semi trying to protect her? It was a little...well it wasn't what she was expecting. "O...okay." she said quietly. "Um...what are you going to do?"
"Does it matter?" he asked, his tone still unnervingly calm.
"It does to me." Sholeh replied after a bit of a pause. "And I know it does to Al-"
"You should go." he said, again cutting her off.
"But..."
Somewhere behind Sholeh, another column quite loudly cracked and busted, it's chunks bouncing off the floor.
"Go."
Sholeh did as he said. She knew better than to stick around, even if she wanted to. She wanted to actually talk to him, but it was clear that he still didn't. He wasn't going to change his mind. Or...if he was, he was having a very hard time doing so. Perhaps she should find Alcina and talk to her instead.

ENTER from Unknown.
X stared down at the small planet in the center of the pit in front of him. His head leaning on a clenched fist. A flash of blue light caught the corner of his eye, and let out a long sight, knowing who it was. "I thought I told you to-" he started, then suddenly stopped once he turned to see....not Sholeh.
A pale skinned boy whith white hair that...was oddly styled. Might even call it fluffy. Icy blue eyes under very heavy black eye makeup, and a a dark blue leatherish outfit whose belts had apparently been attacked with rinestones. Punk was one of the first things that came to X's mind. Along with who this child was, and just how he got into his realm.
"'Sup? You're 'X', right? Any idea where my cuz is hiding? Need to have a word with her about the whole job thing."
X stared at the boy for a moment, then it finally clicked. "No, I don't. I asked her to leave a few minutes ago." he replied, then paused a moment. "Are you her new replacement?"
"Ugh, yes. That is if she doesn't do her job...which I would reeaally appreciate her doing." the boy replied, then paused and gave him a small smile. "I'm Burr by the way." he said.
X nodded, then turned back to staring down at the planet. This was the first time he'd met the boy, but since he was blood related to Sholeh, he had a bit of a pass to get into his realm. "I take it you already checked her realm?"
"Yep. Nothin' there."
After a moment, X turned back to the boy. "She's on the moon."
"The moon? She really is slacking. Jeeze. Alright, I'm gonna go talk to her." Burr said, but paused a moment rather than leaving. "You need to hire a maid or something in here?" he asked, glancing back at one of the destroyed columns. "We have a lot of really good-"
"It's fine. Probably going to get worse eventually anyway." X said, then turned back to the planet.
"Ah, right. That little 'problem'..." Burr said, making quote motions with his fingers. "..pfft. I'd just blow the place up and move on. You get your fireworks and your girl, we get our games, they all move onto whatever afterlife they go to...everyone's happy."
X paused a moment, then turned back to the boy with an annoyed look in his eyes. "It's really not that simple."
Burr shrugged. "Probably not. I haven't exactly been staring at the planet the whole time, though I have been keeping an eye on that one chick. Been too busy to really pay attention to details. Band's got about seven songs we work on everyday, and I'm still trying to reach Ultra-Mode in Sec-Con Version 3. Which takes about two different boss levels to get to. It's one of those games where you can't save until you get to a certain point. So if you die at any point, you have to start all over again. Pain in the as-"
"Didn't you have to talk to Sholeh?" X said with a slight sigh to his voice.
"Oh, right. Need to get that done and get back. The others would probably kick my end for being here this early and trying to talk to her. So I need to do this before they find out I'm here. Though...some of them probably already do. Hopefully the cool ones though. The rest of them are-"
Before the boy could finish his sentence, X snapped his fingers and the boy vanished.

X sat in his throne and stared down at the world below him. His arms resting on the ends of the chair, and his hands folded under his nose, staring intently and thoughtfully. Not quite at the Earth, but at the small rock that moved around it.
After a few moments, after the group on the moon had left, he glanced back and stared at the darkness behind him through the corner of his eye. ”I know you’re there. Come out.” he said. His voice still as calm and emotionless as it was before.
”Took you long enough” someone said from the darkness. Then, the man stepped out of the darkness and towards X. A very large and very tall being in heavy gold and red armor lined with spikes and skulls. Part was made from metal, and the rest was made from the bones of some of his most prized kills. More notably the front of the helmet that was a frighteningly demonic skull. There was even a black fur-like cape attached to the back of the neck of the fully protective suit. A pelt...though from what his ledged says...pelt wasn't the right word. More like a skin. Like how Earthly Indians would scalp their prizes. And the weapons...oh the still blood stained weapons. Maces, swords, guns, arrows, tridents, hooks, almost anything one could imagine. The skull's mouth moved, and a barely visible red mist floated through the shark-like teeth of it. "You're either loosing your touch...or your nerve."
X said nothing at first, but simply turned back around to stare down at the Earth now. ”What do you want, Khorne? Here to complain about the delay with your firework show as well?”
”Of course not. Unlike the child, I know you’ll keep to what you’re supposed to do.” the man said, looking down at the world once he was close enough. ”Spineless little mutt.” he mumbled.
X frowned and glanced over at him. ”She is just a child. One with very little power.”
”And one who’s leading that being right to our home planet. Pathetic. Cowards are only good to be practiced on. She should have just stood there and accepted whatever death the man had for her. She knows what’s awaiting her once we have her.”
”And you can’t cut her a break for being a frightened child?”
”I might for that. But for being a traitor. Death is too good for her.”
”Not that you were going to give her one anyway. The law was to be chained in the games until death, then brought back to life to be used as practice for various new techniques until the next game. Then repeat until her soul’s so broken that she’s nothing more than a shell with no response to anything around her. THEN she’s given to every champion. Both past and future.” X said, a very small hint of anger lacing his tone. ”If the being can protect her from all of you, then don’t you think the instinct of survival would kick in rather than loyalty?”

"Yes," replied a pleasant voice, "Wouldn't you?" Dr. Strange was standing calmly next to a fallen column, his eyes trained on X's guest. "So this wasn't really him, was it?" he asked, voice still light. His expression, however, was coldly furious. "It was you all. The man in armor casually turned to look back at the newcommer, while X turned his attenion back towards the world below him...his fingers now digging into his hands.
"Of course not. X does this all on his own free will. I simply encourage that he keeps it up." the man replied. "The others don't like taking mortals from thriving planets. So X is a rather great help to that." He then turned his attention back to X. "So this is one of the mortals that's made you so tense? The one that your woman has her eye on?"
X said nothing.
