Syrelia glanced at Thali and Sammi's ears with a huge grin, silently praising whatever gods out there that she didn't have pointed ears herself and was thus not a kitty. She laughed at both explanations. "I guess you do look a little bit like a kitty, Jaella."
"Thanks, Thali! I hav,e uh... diapers and clothes on my list."

Jaella chuckled, seeming to accept the little girl's claim that she was her kitty. After all, she didn't mind that much. "I'd love to help, Ms. Syrelia." she said, smiling. She then chuckled. "Yeah, I think it's the tail." she said.
She listened in to the list. That was it? "What about toys and bottles?" the teen suggested, naming the first two things that popped into her head. Then again, they were the only two things that came to mind, so...

Thali nodded in agreement with Jaella. "Let's get two of everything in the baby aisle." She suggested with a shrug. She honestly couldn't remember all that she had gotten for Sammi and Reiya--she'd had them planned for much longer than nine months. And she had a short term memory problem.
Sammi looked to Syrelia. "Ooo a Kitty now too." She said. Obviously, the woman was jealous. "Meanie Kitty."

Syrelia opened her mouth to explain exactly how she was going to feed her babies, at least for their first few months or so, before shutting her mouth. Jaella was probably too young to know that. "Bottles. And, yes, toys! They'll need those and something to chew on when they start teething, I suspect." Why did babies need so much, argh?
The witch reached to take Noah back from Jae in order to put them in the new cart that Lily had brought over. "Two of everything it is, I guess."

"And blankets, stuffed animals, stuff they'll need when they're sick.. Oh and you'll need..." She fell silent, and blushed. She was talking too much. "Maybe paint, too. To decorate their room or something, if you haven't already." She suggested. She remembered painting the twins room--a nice, viberant blue.
Ben had argued with her that blue wasn't a girl's color. She'd proved him wrong, once it had been, while pink had been a boy's. She was bringing that era back slowly. Because, if there was one thing Thali could not stand--it was pink.
