Shivers crawled up and down her spine as he leaned in, and she felt a slight tremor when he began to whisper in her ear. Not only was whispering in her ear very sensual, but his words made it even more risque. She was surprised at the fact that he'd gotten so close to her. She was, after all, a 'maid' now. So is he interested? Or mainly messing with me? Harper arched an eyebrow at Mercushio's words and a low smirk played on her pink lips. Maybe I'll get out of this maid status sooner than I thought... She flashed a dazzling smile and then leaned against the wall once more. "You are indeed correct," she said lightly and happily, for she was glad that he'd referred to her as his 'guest'. That made her smile a bit.

Harper then glanced to Vincent, who seemed greatly worried about what Mercushio's plans were and of his true intentions as to why he asked that question. This interested Harper, for she didn't think that Mercushio would do anything that bad. Sure, he could try to take advantage of her, but she could usually fight her way out of that. She'd had too much experience with that with her father to be the type of girl to just let that happen. She pursed her lips at Vincents words, getting an odd feeling. Is Mercushio really that bad? She wondered, glancing at him. She sighed lightly and shrugged her bare, slender shoulders. "Well you can both take us of course," she said sweetly, and this time it was somewhat genuine. "I don't see why not," she added lightly, glancing towards the exit from the Ball Room into the main hall that led towards the more roomy areas of the house.

I remember when, I remember
I remember when I lost my mind
There was something so pleasant about that place
Even your emotions have an echo in so much space
And when you're out there without care
Yeah, I was out of touch
But it wasn't because I didn't know enough
I just knew too much
Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?
Does that make me crazy?
Possibly

Mercrushio looked back at Vincent with a smudge grin. He could feel the warning of a comment pushing through his lips, and didn't stop it,
"What gives you the idea that your arrival will stop any of my actions brother? I could kill you all right here...If I wanted to..."
He replied with a crazed smile. Mercrushio turned back to Harper seeing that her sister had finally learned her placed and was quiet. He smirked seeing that she agreed.
The fact of it was, Mercrushio did noticed are what status women where, in fact he had been married to a local prostitute for a whole month, it would have been longer if she didn't go missing.
He stretched his bones a bit and sighed guessing his last comment would set everyone off for a while, but wasn't that the point?
He chuckled to himself as his demon masters laughed along with him. How they loved it when Mercrushio frightened others, making him all the more powerful.
it was a shame how proud he was of himself, his pride could build millions of the strongest buildings out of sticks and mud.
Mercrushio Mercrushio, do you mean what you have said?
The demons asked, but they already knew the answer.
Mercrushio, did not reply...
He looked over to the maids curiously wondering which one would scream he loudest, that is, after he played with them.
He sighed placing himself back into the present and looked back at Vincent. Of all his brothers he was almost positive Vincent was the one who saw what Mercrushio could and would really do.

And I hope that you are
Having the time of your life
But think twice
That's my only advice

Come on now, who do you
Who do you, who do you, who do you think you are?
Ha ha ha, bless your soul
You really think you're in control?

Well, I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy

Vincent glared at his brother, but showed no fear, he felt that that would be what his brother was aiming to do. Vincent shook his head, if he were their father he would've had Mercushio thrown out years ago. He didn't want to believe someone so closely related to him would be so twisted and demented, but someimes one had to face the facts and accept that their brother was a crzed lunatic that you'd be stuck with for a long time.

Vincent didn't know if his being there could stop his brother; Vincent had never gotten into any physical fights with his brothers since he was a small kid, so he didn't know if he could overpower him physically if he tried anything. Vincent just felt that if he were there he'd feel a lot more comfortable and less concerned; He'd rather be right there if anything happened than across the house when something did happen. Vincent then said to his brother calmly, "Could you really? That's all fantastic Mercushio, but if you don't mind, we should really just show these ladies to their rooms...And let them rest from their trip."

Vincent felt that if he had to, he'd stand out in the hallway all night, to keep Mercushio away from the women; He didn't think he'd have to do that, he hoped his brother had a little self control to leave them be for the night. Vincent was hoping to catch up with his reading later and didn't want to waste his time guarding the girls instead. Hopefully Mercushio would calm down a bit before they were off to bed. Hopefully.

Harper arched an eyebrow, her soft lips parting in a light gasp. What a random thing to say, she thought, tilting her head to the side. This man was interesting to her but now he was a bit frightening. Before she had been only slightly intimidated but tended to be more amused by his words than anything else.

Then, she heard Vincent reply to his brother and couldn't help but smile. She decided that this man was smart, for he just blew off Mercushio's words and added in something more relevant. Wether or not he believed Mercushio really would hurt the girls was another story that Harper just wasn't sure of the answer. She bit her bottom lip and cleared her throat. "Alright well nobody's killing anyone in this room tonight. So can we all just get to our bedrooms now?" She asked, attempting to help change the subject. She shot a sheepish smile at Vincent, thankful that he was so able to change a subject like that.

Harper's deep amber gaze landed on Mercushio, and she looked at him quizzically. Surely this man interested her, but whether it was a good idea or not to be interested could definitely be debated. She brought her slender and gloved fingers up to her soft red hair and ran them through it, pushing a few strands out of her eyes only for them to fall right back into place.

Mercrushio looked over at Vincent and frowned seeing him toss away Mercrushio's comment. it was a true kill joy when the male was around. He sighed seeing that Vincents actions also went for Haper. Mercrushio huffed like a five year old and continued to guide the girls to there room.
He glanced at Harper seeing that she had been staring at him for quite a while now. The perverted prince winked at the girl and turned frontwards once more. He looked up at the door to the girls room which was now only a few yards away. Mercrushio frowned very upset that they had to go so soon, but Mercrushio knew that he needed to take care of business himself.
It was well known that people had been vanishing around the kingdom, it was usually once every month. It was also known that Mercrushio believed that he could talk t demons, and they would talk back. Although, it wasn;t known that Mercrushio tended to sacrifice objects every mounth to the demons, everything pretty much added up.
Sadly, today was that day. He smirked lightly thinking of it but then motioned his lip back to a frown knowing that Vincent was probably watching him. The prince stopped at the maid's door and opened the door for Harper and her sister.
"Here we are...If you get scared I'm only down the hall...But knock first."
He said with the most innocent smile he could force his body to make, which wasn't very innocent at all.

Vincent was almost tempted to smile when Mercushio let out a childish sigh. He knew whatever reaction his brother was aiming for, he didn't recieve, which was what Vincent was aiming to do. Vincent had been watching his brother carefully as they guided the women to their room, his brother had assumed right, for guessing Vincent was watching him like a hawk. Vincent was like one of those teachers that seem to see everything and get one in trouble constantly.

When Mercushio offered his "comforting" services to the ladies, Vincent quickly added his. "If you have any needs, or concerns my dear ladies, I should be three doors down in my bedroom or seven doors down on the left side of the hall, in the library." He gestured down the hall, so they would know which way to go, since just saying "down" the hall" may confuse them and make them wonder which direction down the hall. "If you get lost, just yell and either one of us princes, or other staff members will assist you," Vincent told them with a kind smile. Vincent just hoped they wouldn't do that, because he had a feeling Mercushio would be up all night just listening for a scream for him to run to.

Vincent sighed to himself, he hated having to worry about his brothers doings 24/7. Usually he didn't worry too much at night, but now, with new residents, all of which were of the female gender, he was concerned. Concerned of his brothers reputation as a prince (the little he had left) and the safety of their new housemates. Vincent could only imagine how many rules...how many laws his brother could break now. It would be so easy for him to cross the line now, and that worried Vincent deeply.

Harper watched him huff when they blew off his comment. But seriously, what did he expect me to do? Run in fear? Probably. But that was irrational and obnoxious. Definitely not my style. She walked with her arms crossed over her chest down the dark hallway. She saw him glance at her and then wink, and Harper felt tingles down her spine once more. Nevertheless, a slow smile played on her lips in an absentminded reaction. They reached the door, and Harper felt the swift feeling of regret. She wasn't ready to be done yet, and the night was still young in her eyes. She was not tired in the least bit, for she'd just arrived. Oh well, she thought. I'll just leave later, she decided happily with a slight nod.

At Mercushio's words, Harper couldn't help but smile and decide to tease. She heard him attempt to be innocent but it all just ended up sounding sarcastic anyways. She smirked and shook her head. "If anything, you'll be the one knocking on my door," she said teasingly. She glanced at him and then turned slowly, walking in through the door way. Her white gloved fingers were the last to disappear through the door, as she trailed them down the door's edge as she left. She widened her eyes and realized she'd forgotten to thank the two Princes for guiding them. She popped her head and chest out the door and flashed a dazzling smile at Vincent and Mercushio. "Thank you, your highnesses," she said lightly and sweetly. Her tone was almost genuine this time. "I'll definitely call for you if I need help," she said, her gaze landing on Vincent. She lingered there for a moment and sighed heavily, deciding to go back to her room now.

Mercrushio looked over at Vincent and rolled his eyes at his brothers caring personality. It seemed that what ever he would say it would end up clashing with Vincent's words and making his not come out so bad. His brother was like a filter hat seemed to follow Mercrushio when ever he wanted to make mischief.
The male chuckled at Harper's words.
"As long as we are in the same bed it doesn't matter who knocked first to me..."
He mumbled as he slowly began to walk towards his room. Mercrushio would have stayed longer, but the demons were becoming very impatient. He slowly stalked into his room slamming the door behind him just incase Vincent wanted to 'talk' to him.
The busy prince placed on his special dark clothing and gathered a few materials for the night. He then walked into the storage of the large room and flicked on the lantern reveling a well crafted shrine. Merrushio fell on his knee's and began to chant for about two hours, just enough time for everyone to fall asleep.

Vincent shook his head at Mercushio's final comment before he stormed off into his room. Vincent thought about following him and speaking to his brother, but then again he did leave. Besides the fact that he was gone, which was a good thing on its own, he probably left for a reason. Probably one of his demon fantasy adventures, is what he assumed; Vincent didn't think Mercushio one to leave a pair of beautiful girls so quickly without a reason. Vincent just shrugged and thought to himself, "Good riddance, I don't want him corrupting the minds of our new household gems." Vincent did appreciate women for more than just their contributions to society, but also their beauty, inside and out. Though he wasn't the flirtatious type, more the charming type, he still usually didn't comment on a woman's looks, or their personalities. He just never found it useful or needed for any situations, besides, he didn't want to come off as a pervert and didn't feel companionship very important at this point in his life. It never hurt to be kind to a woman though, which is what he did.

"It was not a problem my dear woman," Vincent said with a kind bow and a smile, as he saw her beautiful smile. "I'll be there for you if you need me, mademoiselle," he told her kindly, and reassuringly, to emphasize that he would be available if needed. He probably just wanted them to know that if they needed anything he was ready to help, other than Mercushio. Not that he wanted the women all to himself, he just wanted them away from Mercushio, when they were alone at least.

Harper arched an eyebrow at his words, and suppressed a laugh; which was very hard to do for her. Vincent's words reached her ears and she just couldn't help but smile. She was, of course, a girl. And she could not ignore charming behavior. "I'll take note of that Prince Vincent," she said softly and somewhat sweetly before turning into her bedroom. She closed the door behind her and her sisters and made her way to her bedroom. She threw herself onto her bed and sighed heavily, not bothering to strip off her clothes because she knew she'd be going out again anyways. She bit her bottom lip and closed her deep amber eyes to the darkness. Is Mercushio serious? It's so strange to meet a prince who is so open like that and doesn't even care that a female is nothing but a 'maid'. She opened her eyes, gazing up at the dark ceiling.

After about two and a half hours of laying there doing nothing, she was beginning to grow tired. She blinked hard and sat up quietly, throwing the covers to the side and off of her and slithering out of bed. She tiptoed to their door and opened it quietly to the dark hallway outside. She was surprised that the door made no creak when she opened it, and was very thankful for it.

Harper closed the door behind her quietly and made her way down the hall way. She passed the room that Vincent said was his bedroom, and wondered where the other prince's bedrooms were. She tiptoed until she reached the library. She peaked in, and was amazed at how huge it was. Harper loved reading, but she'd never admit that. She'd read so many books that if she'd mentioned it everyone would call her a liar anyways. Nobody believed the 'rebel' of the group wasted her time reading. They were wrong. She lingered at the entrance to the library, debating on whether she should enter or not. Late night reading was her type of thing and she generally stayed up till three or four am just reading a book. She found herself wondering if Vincent was in there and kind of hoped he wasn't for fear of being scolded. He seemed like the type of man that would scold her for being up so late and out of her room without permission. Then she wondered if Mercushio were to be the one to find her. Would I like that? Or would it be smarter to be afraid? She wondered, biting her bottom lip and glancing at the floor.

The absolute crazed male finally stood from his spot near the shrine and opened his eyes from a long chant of jiberish that Mercrushio had made himself think was demonic language. He grabbed a few sharp ibjects and a bag. The prince then headed for his door wondering if Vincent was still up reading but didn't care.
Mercrushio had never really been worried about being caught killing another, from what he had heard, prison wasn't all that bad. And anyways, if he were to be sentenced to death, wouldn't that just make him a legend for all the other phsyco's in history? Maybe some day a male of the name Hitler would idolize Mercrushio, or even better.
He slowly opened the door still dressed in his dark black cloak. The male slithered into the halls heading for his special exit. He headed into the kitchen and out the window which was already placed on the first floor.
He looked around for a moment passing by a few guards and slipped out of the castles acres. Once all else was clear the male headed into the dark looking for a worthy sacrifice.

Aurora had remained surprisingly silent as they were led to their rooms. She was more interested in scoping out the 'lay of the land', so to speak. It was research for her intended run to freedom. She had intended to interfer earlier, but Saiya got there first. Her eyebrows lifted a little as she heard Mercrushio say something about killing them all easily, but that was all she did to show any notice of his words.

She yawned, and a tiny bead of a tear showed in the corner of her eye. She wiped it away and looked down at her attire, a skimpy-looking maids outfit. It was her favorite part of the whole thing, actually it was the ONLY thing she liked about it.

She agreed with Saiya's statement that they were all tired, at least she was. She believed though that all of them were tired. When they made it to their rooms she grinned and spoke, for the first time since they'd gotten here. "Well it was nice to meet you. And Oyasumi! or should I say Sayonara? Oh well. Either one works." And with that she goes into the room and collapses on the bed, snoring instantly when she fell asleep.

Vincent, in fact, was in the two-story, private library of the family. It probably had a copy of every book written in English, and a few books written in French, Japanese, Spanish and Arabic, plus a few other laguages. He sat in his personal "area" of the libray. His "area" was on the second floor by the fireplace. He had two large seats that sat facing the fireplace. It was elegant, the whole library, and really a symbol of the family's wealth. Elaborate crown molding, gorgeous mantle around both the first and second floor fireplaces, cherry wood floors, many chic oak book shelves with old, and new, books that "decorated" the shelves in a formal, and intelligent way; If intelligent can be used to describe a room's appearance.

Vincent had been reading "Les Miserables" in front of the fire place, but had dozed off in his chair, the book laying over his lap, his head leaning onto his shoulder. His face illuminated by the flickering glow of the fire, had an expression of peace and serenity; he was in his santuary after all. He always liked to consider the library "his" room more than his bedroom. He had his own desk in the library, where he kept many files and papers with his "work". The only thing he'd need in here to make it more like his own room would be a proper bed, and his clothing. He would've called this room his home if he could, but he couldn't since he called the whole place his home, but the books were all he really needed.

Harper couldn't help the smile on her face as she crept into the library. She was as quiet as she could be, tiptoeing on long, slender legs as her feet padded on the lush carpet below. She walked past a few book shelves, glancing at all of the books. Finally, something caught her eye. Her deep amber eyes went wide with shock and delighted surprise as Dante Alighieri's Inferno made itself visible. After reading Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson, Dante's Inferno was a book that crossed her mind rather regularly. The man's writings about the many levels of hell and the reasons and punishments for certain sins were entirely interesting to her. She was enthralled with the book although she still had yet to read it. She'd tried to read it online, but that was hard to do and she just couldn't get into it. Reading from a book was so much better.

And she was delighted that it was the dead of night, which just so happened to be her favourite time to read. Perfect, she thought to herself. She reached out gingerly to the book and pulled it quietly from the shelf. Her fingers played over the cover and she opened it, flipping through the pages slowly. The pictures Dante drew were so very creative and extremely wild to look at. Harper bit her bottom lip in delight and moved towards the sitting area of the library.

To her surprise, however, Prince Vincent just so happened to be lounging in the chair. When Harper parted her lips to speak an apology, she noticed he was sleeping soundly. So, wake him up? Or read in here? Or take the book to my room and read it..? Harper shook her head. No, I can't read it in my room. My sisters are there and there is no lighting... She bit her bottom lip in thought.

Finally, Harper shrugged her slender shoulders and just sat herself down in a chair acrossed from Vincent. She knew if he woke he would probably freak out on here out of surprise and possibly anger. She sighed lightly and flipped the book open, beginning to read it. Her gaze flickered up above the novel and landed on what he was reading. A classic, she thought to herself amusedly. Not as classic as mine, however... Inferno was written in the early 1300's.

Vincent rested peacefully, unbothered by Harper's entrance. He hadn't heard a sound, and he was to deep into his dream...rather, nightmare, that he couldn't hear anything of the "real" world. Now, his nightmare wasn't what others may consider a nightmare. He didn't toss and turn, because monsters weren't after him; his nightmare involved...you guessed it, Mercushio, and all his rule-breaking ways. Though his dream was also influenced by "Les Miserables" except that Vincent was something like Javert and he was after, no Jean Valjean, but Mercushio who was not at all a good person, like Valjean was. The reason this was a nightmare, was because Vincent couldn't stop Mercushio from his notorious, obnoxious ways. Vincent was just being strung along by finding the mess he left behind. A rather frustrating dream to most, but to him, it was pure horror.

As Vincent rounded a corner in his dream, he was face to face with his brother; Vincent slowly awoke after this, not wanting to see what would happen next. He brought his head from his shoulder and looked down at the book on his lap. He slowly grabbed the book and set it on the arm of the chair, and then his eyes moved to the fire. Yet to see Harper, since his eyes were adjusting, and he didn't think anyone would be there. As he squinted at the fire, he thought he saw something out of the corner of his eye, but he disregarded it, knowing his minds was playing tricks on him. He reluctantly sat up, and leaned over, cupping his face in his hands as he took in a deep breath, and let out a heavy breath.
