Darcy smiled; looks like this one had good taste. "Thank you, Reiya." she said, smiling. "You are rather pretty yourself; you're sure to be a beauty when you come of age."
Aaron smiled. "Of course." he said before walking quickly down the aisle. He wasn't stupid enough to full-out run with her on his shoulders; she might fall off. "Having fun?" he asked, looking up at her.

Reiya smiled, but all she understood of what Darcy had said was that she was pretty. "Fank ooo." She said, petting the older girl's hair. She wasn't quite past the fascination with hair stage, though she didn't dare pull Darcy's. Instead, she patted it. "Dawcy? We be fwiends?"
Sammi peeked down at Aaron happily, giving a giggle of delight--there was his answer. "Fasser, Mine?" She asked.

Darcy smiled. This child had potential. Yes, she did.... "Yes, we can be friends." she said, offering a small smile as she patted the baby on the head. Yes....this one was useful enough (or could be useful enough in the future) for her to honor with the title of "friend".
Aaron smiled. "Alright, Sammi." he said, moving a bit faster as he left the aisle, heading down the next one. As long as they were having fun, who cared how the people around them shot them strange looks?

Reiya smiled, and put her hands together happily. "Hooway! Dawcy an' me fwiends!" That got Thali's attention, though she didn't say anything. Friends? She didn't think so. It was true that she had a bias, and liked Aaron much more than she liked his sister--but friends? Her baby--with--well.. She didn't like the idea.
Sammi smiled, and hugged Aaron's head. "Mine good 'Orsie." She complimented. "Mine fass. Good Orsie, Mine." She patted him on the head. She wondered if she could take him home, wasn't that what stores were for? To take things home? And he was in the store--so...

Darcy smiled, gently ruffling the child's hair. That's right. You and Darcy are friends~" she cooed, chuckling. Ah, so young....she loved how impressionable kids were at this age~
Aaron smiled. "Thanks." he said, laughing a little. This one was cute! If he could, he'd keep her....but that would make Mrs. Sadril sad, and we couldn't have that, could we?

"Dawcy?" Reiya looked up to her new friend. "Ooo come see me soon? We go soon--but Dawcy fwiend still, wight?" They would always be friends, right? Right. It was the rule of friendness.
Sammi looked down at Aaron, giggling. "Mine? I buy ooo. Kay? Ooo my Mine."

Darcy smiled. "Of course, leibling. I'll come see you, because we are friends. Now and forever." She patted the girl on the head, then flashed Thali a smile.
Aaron chuckled. "You can't buy people, silly~" he said, laughing and looking up at her. "Besides, that'd make Darcy mad. She needs me, you know."

Reiya returned Darcy's smile, before wrapping her arms around her friend. "Luv ooo." She said. Really, she was getting tired. But Mommy had promised ice cream...so she had to wait. Mommy wouldn't give her any if she was sleeping!
Thali didn't return the smile, in fact, she frowned. "I think we've got everything we need here." She said. "It's about time for us to go."
Sammi frowned, she didn't like this at all. Her eyes narrowed, and a flame was reflected in them. "I wan buy ooo, Mine." She said in a voice that said she expected to get what she wanted. She usually did. "Dun care 'bout No. Ooo my Mine."

Darcy smiled, patting the little girl on the back. She grinned at Thali, a smile that clearly said "I won". What she won, though....now that was up for debate. "Sorry that you have to leave so soon, Thaliawie." she said, grinning at the use of the elf's full name.
Aaron sighed. "You can't buy me, SamSam. I'm my own person. You can't buy people, anyways." he explained. "Besides, I'd miss Darcy and Jaella, and Jaella and Darcy would miss me."

Thali turned to glare at Darcy before taking Reiya into her arms. "Don't call me that." She said, looking down the aisle for Aaron and Sammi as she put Reiya into the cart.
Sammi frowned for a moment, and then seemed to think about it. "Kay, Mine." She said. "I shawe ooo. I get hawf, an No get hawf." She paused. "I get bess hawf." She added, as an after thought.

Darcy just smiled sweetly. "But that's your name, Thalia-dear." she said, her tone dripping with sweetness. The serpent must have used that same tone when he confronted Eve in the garden.
Aaron smiled. "Okay, Sammi." he said, chuckling as he turned back into the aisle, heading for Thali's cart. He pulled Sammi off his shoulders, giving the little one a hug.

Thali frowned. "It is not." She argued. "My name's Thali. I don't like being called anything else." Especially not 'Princess' or 'Thalia' she hated that.
Sammi hugged Aaron as well as she could. "Mine? Ooo see me soon? Pway wiff me? More 'Orsie? Come my 'ouse. Kitty come too, kay Mine?"

Darcy just grinned. "As you wish, ohime-sama." she said, pretty much calling her "Princess" in Japanese. She curtsied to her in mock-submission, giggling.
Aaron smiled, nodding. "I will, promise." he said, smiling. "We'll all come and visit you...and I'll bring candy." He looked up, noticing the tense atmosphere. Uh-oh, what did Darcy do?

Thali didn't know Japanese, but she could guess what Darcy had said by her tone and the bow. She frowned. "Look, Darcy." She said, looking to Reiya and then back to the teenager. "I know we got off to a rough start--can we at least try to be friendly? For their sakes?" She gestured to the infants.
Sammi smiled at the promise of candy. 'I miss ooo, Mine." She said. "Ice-cweam ime? Mommy pwomise ice-cweam."

Darcy smiled innocently. "I am being friendly, though." she said, her tone ever-so-sweet. "I'm just paying proper respects. Is that so wrong?" Oh, she was having WAY too much fun with this.
Aaron hugged the little one. "I will miss you too, Sammi." he said, patting her on the head. He then blinked as she started talking about ice cream, just listening.
