Shylock smiled, turning off the water after they'd cleaned up and played for a few. He got out a washcloth and showed the fishboy how to dry off his hands. "You're a fishy so you could stay wet, but you haven't tried crackers yet and they aren't good soggy."

Nero pointed to Shylock " Not a fishy?" the other lacked fins but did have a tail. What was he ?

The two siblings now with clean hands slowly made their way out of the kitchen and back to the living room. Merrill helped Nero back onto the couch and the small family was reunited and relaxed once again. Nero's arrival might have been shocking but it seemed to have brought a new level of peace to the household.
