'I thought so..' Shinoma said, crowing a little at getting the admission from him - but only a little. It was an intense moment, heightened for her because of the blood smell all around them, and the fresh kill at their hooves. Maybe it was okay he didn't eat it, he was still a relatively competent hunter despite not having the same hunger she did.
'By my side? What is it you think is happening bird brain?' she said, her eyes hadn't left his face though, and she licked his face, savouring the taste of the drying blood and him. She licked her mouth delicately, and turned on her hooves, walking away.
She stopped a few steps from him, turning and looking back at him, a look in her eyes that invited him to follow. What ever they did next, wherever they went, it was sure to be as exciting as their hunt had been.

Firestorm just smirked with a small shrug of his shoulders at her inquiry. But he did not remove his eyes from the smoky mare either. He didn't hesitate, his ego and confidence did not falter. He could see the way she looked at him. That despite the words she chose, her body and eyes spoke a different story, mirroring his own thoughts.
"Whatever happens... happens, I suppose." He whickered, tail swishing as they left the grizzly scene of their meal, and headed deep into the sheltering boughs of the forest...
