Korsu shook his head at Kora and said, "Oh you didn't disturb me. I was restless and I couldn't sleep so i wandered the camp. Your voices attracted me here." Then Edge's reaction to what Kora said next amused him and he chuckled to himself. His tail swishing, he backed a little and said, "I do however agree with the elf that you should get some sleep. Who knows what the morning will bring." With that said, He glanced at Delaine with an amused smile before quietly turning and slowly making his way away from their camp.

A centaur... Delaine determined, feeling the vibrations on the ground. After discovering that Korsu was leaving she redirected her attention to Kora and Edge. She wanted to look at the sky to determine what time it was, but didn't make a move. She wanted to go back to sleep as well, but as long as they talked she knew she wouldn't be able to. She decided to remain this way until things cooled down. After all, a recent attempt to steal from their camp left her feeling restless.

 Edge shook his head once everyone had left. Eventful for a moment there, but it wasn't that much fun. He wasn't prone to liking being called a child. He was seventeen, not ten! Edge stepped back over to his sleeping bag, listening to the centaur since he happened to be actually kind and didn't insult him in anyway other than telling him what was best to do. He looked over to Delaine and quietly tip-toed over to her bag. It was obvious she wasn't asleep. Edge was the heavy sleeper, not Delaine. He knelt down next to her and lifted his hands. He wanted to do one thing before going to bed. He lifted his pointer fingers and pressed one against her waist. He flipped back, landing on his hands, and flipped used the momentum to throw himself closer to his sleeping bag. He quickly slid himself into the sleeping bag and closed his eyes, opening one slightly to look at Delaine.

Delaine couldn't help but squirm from him poking her. Half of her head slowly emerged from the sleeping bag, her hair slightly ruffled. She looked at Edge with a sarcastic, blank expression. He knew that she was a bit ticklish, and she knew that it couldn't have been anyone else. "Hmph." She seemed to retort, holding the lip of the sleeping bag so that only her face from the nose up was visible. "What was that for? And don't you dare pretend to sleep. I'll hit you."

Edge intentionally snored, making it slightly loud. He hoped she believed it, because she would hit him and he knew it. He rolled around in his sleeping bag until he stopped on his back, making it seem as if he was having a difficult time sleeping. He began to regulate his breathing to make it seem as if he was sleeping.

Delaine closed her eyes for a moment and sighed. She reluctantly got out of her sleeping bag and walked over to Edge. Bending down she hit him upside the head with her hand. "If you snored that loudly I would never get a good night's sleep." She said bluntly. She looked down at him as she straightened herself up, enjoying her small moment of revenge for him poking her.

Korsu walked towards an empty space and made sure there was plently of space before he stood on the furthest end, away from the camps. He stomped the earth a little before relaxing a little. He placed his left hand on the hilt of his sword as he then let his head droop(sp) a little, eventually falling into a light sleep.
((Just like horses razz ))

Kora had headed back to her own fire. She pushed the coals out with a stick and laid down her blanket next to them, only a few inches from the burning hot embers. Carefully she laid down and placed her sword at her side, a dagger hidden under her hip was also comforting. In moments she was sleeping lightly, and quietly.
Kora never dreamed, she never had been able to in sleep she was as still as a marble statue, and very easily awoken. The elf would never risk her life sleeping here if she didn’t think she could wake fast enough to protect herself.

((I'd say about now!))
The sound of distant footsteps and yelling came from the distance. Soon, torches could be seen from the forest. Edge quickly sat up, not taking any notice the pain he felt from getting knocked upside the head. It happened quickly as a strange orc-like creature jumped out of the forest and stabbed one of the bandits through the gut. Right after that orc, a many more followed, rushing out of the forest line and cutting down anyone in the way. Edge jumped up and grabbed what little food they had left in a pouch. He looked up to see a sword being swung down towards his head. Instead of blood, sparks flew into the air. Edge was now holding his blade up diagonaly, blocking the sword with little effort. He pushed back, making the orc recoil, then quickly lunged forward, stabbing it in the face. It fell backwards onto the fire and began to burn. More orcs began to run towards Edge and Delaine. Edge turned around and began to run, grabbing Delaine's hand as he did so. They were cut off by a few orcs, but Edge quickly brought them down with a series of quick slashes. They ran up to a cave and Edge turned around after pushing Delaine further into it. "RUN!" Four orcs ran up to Edge as he stood at the cave's mouth. This wasn't good at all. Fortunately, he was more skilled with a blade than they were. With fluent and steady movements, he cut them down one by one. He looked back at Delaine and yelled for her to run again.
((Everyone believes that the Shining Force is only one blade, but in actuality it is two. For now, Delaine will find the first one further in the cave and we'll think she's the heritor for a while before we find the other alter, discovering the next Heritor.))

Delaine looked into the cave and looked back at Edge again, a little hesitant at first. As he slashed another orc down she took her yumi and aimed, striking another from afar. How could he think that she could leave him like this? Also, what use would it be for her to hide in here if he was injured or defeated? She glared at him for a moment, then ran into the cave, reluctantly doing as she was told.
As she continued to run she could see less and less, the dark surrounding her.

Korsu snapped awake again, his right hand immediatly going for his sword. He heard the shouts and footsteps and immediatly ran away from the edge of the forest. He left just as an orc dropped down from a tree into the spot where Korsu's back had been. He turned quickly and trotted around the edge of the camp he backed into. He jumped over a fire, his eye's scanning for the areas where the orcs were the most concentrated. He noticed a group of orcs were converging on a lone warrior at the mouth of the cave and he broke into a gallop. As he got closer, he saw a log in his way. Korsu aimed as he then jumped over the log, and landed on one of the orcs, trampling it. He slowed down to a stop and as he turned, he drew his sword with his right hand. He noticed that the lone swordsman that he came to help happened to be the one he talked to previously.

Kora leapt up fully aware and awake. Her blade was in her hand and she was ready to fight to the death with....Orcs? Okay, She could do this. She was the only person left on the southern side of the village, but she fought the beasts with all she had. Her thin blade sliced and she moved as quick as the wind, dodging and parrying anything the lumbering brutes threw at her.
"Gods damn." She spat when something thumped her in the back of the head. She stumbled forward and fell, tripping over a log. A tinny whimper escaped her lips and the great elfish swordswoman was down for the count, one hand clamped to her blade, the other the base of her skull. If she died here than life truly wasn't worth living.

Edge lifted his hand that held his blade and itches his nose with a quick movement to the side. There were a battallion of orcs heading for him and the centaur. "This is going to be fun, huh? Name's Edge." He grinned as he glanced up at the warrior centaur. "Let's try not to die here. Delaine'd be pissed!" An orc approached him, only to fall about five feet before it could reach him. He smirked, loving his power. He may have looked normal, but he could do things most humans couldn't. Edge raised his blade up and held it with both hands to increase the strength behind his blows. "Be safe, Delaine." He muttered under his breath, hoping the girl would be ok. He saw the elf woman from earlier fall a little ways away. He dashed for her, cutting all who got in his way and helped the woman up. He supported her and carried her back to the cave, setting her down inside and continuing to protect the cave from the damned orcs attacking them.

A smile crossed Korsu's face as he said, "Loads of fun. Well met Edge. Call me Korsu." his smile turned into a grin as he said, "If I died here I'd be a disgrace, even in death." Korsu then bucked, catching an orc sneaking up on them square in the chest, crushing his ribs and internal organs from the force of the strike. He then held his sword with both hands and then helped Edge in defending the elf and the mouth of the cave, making sure none passed.

Kora came to moments later; she was in a cave... and could see the centaur and boy fighting in the mouth of the cave. Her head throbbed and her knees wobbled when she stood so regretfully she sat back down and held her sword close incase some one slipped though.
After a couple more minutes she tried standing again, the elf could manage it all right and so she moved to the mouth of the cave to help the two males protect the hide out. Her sharp steel sword flashed in the full moon's light and she stood to the left of the centaur. As casually as if she were filleting a fish she gutted an orc that came at her. The gore dripped down her blade infecting her whole lower arm. Her thin skull was still paining her but she ignored it, preferring to stand up for her life rather than let two strangers defend it for her.
