John went to stand next to the horse and began petting its soft fur. He turned to the stable master. "What is this beautiful horses name?"

The stable master smiled. The middle aged man in peasent clothing stood up. The Archbishoped ordered me to allow you to give her a name. However, you may not name it after him nor his dukes and duchess. Tanilith, Lee Anne, Thomas and Vincent

John patted the side of the horse fondly. "Elizabeth." He said to himself.
He then turned back to the stable master. "I'm ready to take her out. I have a long journy ahead of me.

John nodded as he saddled up. "I will."
With that, he took her out of the stable and through town towards the outskirts.

Thinking that it was a town's person come to wish him one last bit of luck, John brought Elizabeth to a stop and turned to the noise.

All that was found of Kayla was a note to her parents saying that she had gotten word that Silver and her party had gone missing and that she wanted to find her best friend and cousin. She asked for their forgiveness and said that she would feel guilty the rest of her life if she did not find her.

A woman dressed in a full body cloak, shaded in forest colours, stepped closer to John. Her hood was pulled up and very little of her face was visible, due to a covering the same colour as her cloak. A long staff, the blunt, flat head wrapped in a long white cloath, was positioned on her back. Most of her body was obsecurred by the cloak or other covering, leaving only her piercing green eyes visible, as well as a few whisps of firey red hair. "Hello, John McConner."

John steadied Elizabeth and looked to the stranger.
Still rather full of himself, John puffed out his chest and said in a voice slightly deeper than usual, "Hello, Madam, I will liberate your people from the evil of this world. I promise you that."

The woman snorted. "Huh. They were right. You are just like him." She adjusted the staff until she was holding it, the blunt, covered end facing out. "And there was just one way to get through to him. Oddly enough, it's the same way you get through to a mule..." She raised the staff high and let it fall, hitting John directly in the centre of his head, even from his mounted position. *CRACK*
