Numielle's ears twitched at the sound of a voice. Looking over, her eyes went wide at the sight of Acotas. It was . . . it was a two-legger! Oh wow, wow, wow, wow! The spiked tail mare stared at the human, not at all scared but incredibly intrigued. "Ooooooh - Look!! Numi sees a two-legged-thing!" Little realizing that Kaliska was with the human, Numielle gave a little giggle and whicker at the human.
She'd never seen one up close and personal before, and was amazed that one might venture so near. Acotas was so . . . well . . tiny! "Numi thinks this one has pretty fur, oh yes she does!" Taking a few cautious steps forwards, the large mare stuck out her horned head to get a better sniff at the human. Her black and blue eyes twinkled in delight nonetheless, her tail wagging happily behind her like some canine.
"Numi wonders if two-legged-pet is friendly. . . " She pondered, trotting away from Kaliska and Nocturne to better investigate the human. Her intentions were quite clear and easy to read; though massive and spiked and with a blood stained horn, this winged mutant meant no harm. She was mostly curious and wanted to better get to know the human. . .
Nocturne pawed lightly at the ground. "Her name is Acotas, Mum. . . . She uh. . . is with Kaliska." Or something like that. Nocturne understood that some soquili made friends with two-legged ones, but he himself wasn't so sure about such a friendship. Two leggers, he heard, could cause a lot of good but some could cause a lot of harm. Oh well. . . to each their own, he figured!
Glancing over at his new friend, he did offer a little smile nonetheless. "Sorry 'bout her. She means well. But hopefully we can meet up again. . . You best take care of yourself, in the meant time," he added with a serious nod of his head. Heaven forbid one of his friends get hurt just because he was too little to properly protect or watch over them.
Maybe when he grew, when he was allowed more freedom he could seek her out once more. Unless, of course, she stumbled upon Islagiatt before then.

Smiling softly, Kaliska nuzzled her nose softly against Nocturnes side as Acotas slowly backed up until her back hit the wall, "It's alright... And thank you."
Smiling softly, Kaliska started to walk towards Acotas, watching Nocturne from over her shoulder, "If I dont see you before I get much bigger, I'll see about looking for you when I'm bigger... I've never had a real friend before... I'll be sure to grow strong enough to meet you again. Now excuse me, I have to go rescue my Two-legger before she wets herself..." Laughing softly, she approached the approached Acotas and nibbled delicately on her skirt before tugging on it a little, trying to reassure her.
Glancing down at the foal, seeing how relaxed she was, Acotas looked back up at the massive Mare, slowly raising a hand for her to sniff at, "H-h-heruse C-c-cerakko?"

Numielle hardly interpreted the fear in Acotas. The farther the girl retreated, the closer Numielle approached. "Numi won't hurts the Two-Legged-Pet! Numi just wants to cuddle," she tried to tell the human, unaware that the two-leggers couldn't understand her.
Ah, but it wouldn't be a complete fiasco. With Kaliska's approach and reassurances, it seemed that the two-legger relaxed some. The bloody-horned mare wasted no time as Acotas offered her hand. Sniffing lasted just a moment before Numielle pushed her muzzle and head underneath the hand, encouraging a few pets. Leave it to Numielle to want to snuggle with the humans. . . . And leave it to her to not understand the size difference.
She was no foal. In fact, Numielle was rather massive for a mare, her mutant blood quite apparent. She was huge and to see a horned and spiked tailed winged creature attempt to cuddle up to a petite-human was . . . .strange, to say the least.
In fact, just as Numielle's wings reached out, attempting to shield and cuddle both Acotas AND Kaliska, Nocturne gave his mother a light tug upon her tail.
The little colt peeked out from behind his mother, offering his new friend a grin. "You won't be forgotten, I promise! I'm quite sure we'll meet again, someday." And that was something he wasn't going to forget. She was his friend, and seeing as she'd never had a real one before, he was going to make sure he put in everything to such a title. "Be safe, and it was really great meeting you!" He added with a pleased wag of his tail. . .
Ah, but his mother!
"C'mon Mum. . . . Shouldn't we find Dad and Dove?" Another tug on her tail and a slight retreat, his wings half-spread to encourage her.
Numielle did look away from Acotas, peeking over at her son. Her ears twitched and it then occurred to her that yes, they had indeed been away from Penance and Dove for far too long. "Oooooh - Nockey-Face is right! Let's go find the Special-Specials before it gets late~!" Turning to face both Acotas and Kaliska, she beamed at the pair. "Numi thinks it was awfully nice to meet you both! Take care, Little-Pretty and Two-Legged Pet!" Retreating aways, with her son in tow, it didn't take long for the two to disappear over the plains.
