Apeiron King of Light

heh that's true, but that is one of the first thing people think of when it comes to fiends... I mean I'd rather have out a necrofear then a raviel (but it would be funny to play both in one turn xd )

On top of that, I know you're not relying on him...but to foolishly use him by just getting saku'ed means you're relying that card without thinking the options clear enough. I mean I don't know if it's just me but I main deck a little more m/t hate as well as anti-monster hat since I know 3/4 of the time my opponent has something for me like that.

And, I know you said he is hard to play... but what I'm saying is that you can use him differently... thinking outside of the box the concept shows that by using him to get out the necrofear, you'll be able to use necrofears ability with less worry since you know your opponent used atleast of 1 his/her monster-hate cards. This can give you a whole you need to get more control on the board. That's sort of the way I was going with what I was talking about up there ^^;;

I agree fully. When I was running my old fiend deck, i ran 2 Necrofears. When Raviel came out I thought he'd be too hard to get out and all. But then I thought with a necrofear as a spell is STILL a fiend monster, kind of like Embodiment of Apophis...

Anyway, I ALWAYS ran Necrofears since my opponet would ALWAYS destoy them, then I'd grab their Cyber Dragons and stuff and attack them with em!

And if they didn't get rid of it, it was an annoying 2800def wall. mrgreen

Good times. Anyway, I don't recomend Helpoemer in ANY deck... unless you focus on discarding which would be pretty weird.

Using the restrictions is a way to challenge yourself by limiting the amount of powerful cards you can use. If the cards you're using are too powerful, it would give the player an unfair advantage, and the posibility to use infinite combo's which would throw the game instantly.

The restrictions are not 'retarded'. Although it may seem like its a little too much, all the cards which are restricted are cards that would be overplayed, and become the basis for every deck. If there were no restrictions, everyones deck would be exactally the same, or else face inevitable defeat.

but thats the point....mthey are hard to get your hands on, the point of powerful cards is to make inevitable wins. besides, there is no such thing as an inevitable win anyway. cards like that test your opponent, to see if they stocked up on cards that could help in those situations.

If the Dragong of the end is restricted...then say so on the card...like the gods!

The thing with rare cards, is that they aren't rare enough. Almost everyone in my Card League in my city had a Chaos Emperor Dragon, or BLS. They aren't that hard to get your hands on. Instant wins are never fun to play against; they take all the joy out of a game, because there are so few ways to counter them. If you can't stop a chaos emperor dragon, you lose. If everyone runs a chaos emperor dragon, its just a race to see who can pull him off first.

The game would turn into MTG, where people just try to get their third turn wins off before their opponent.

They did something like that with the Dragonball Z card game; some of the cards say 'Limit one per deck' or other things restricting them. Can't think of any more specifics...
