What part about the men do you have most trouble with? If it's like facial structure, it's easier if you make a boy's jaw like...more square shaped in a way. And for eyes make them have less eyelashes (if you do eyelashes) XD

And I also make their eyebrows thicker, since most girls have thin ones.

it's more of the physique that i have problems with... most of the time they have feminie hips or girlish thin structure

thanks for the facial tips ^ ^

Yeah. Girls are very hour glass shaped. Boys are normally just... parallel, or like... / shaped...except not as severe. XD

well the horglass is a simple method but even unmatured women have more of a curve then boys

True.

And I forgot about necks. Men normally have thicker necks than girls. I wouldn't say -all- but yeah. It helps?

And boys have broader shoulders.

Hopefully that's helpful enough for more anatomicallyness stuff?

oh i found out a nice way to easily make a torso for a guy or woman, all yu got to do is draw a flour sack filled halfway. so you can mess with the bag then add the limbs and stuf next its awesome XD

EVERYTHING

Naw but I have probs with anatomy. I can't seem to connect stuff too well and looking at skeletal structure/muscles makes my brain explode.

Also butts...but I get a little sidetracked when using refs. ninja

um...noses! Like how far they are away from the upper lip and stuff. I tend to push the nose and mouth too far down from the eyes.

-blinks at Chozen's butt statement-

"well to first to say, don't stare at the skeletal structure and all that until you have a nice basic understanding of what makes a human body. you should try my flour sack idea for the torso then add arms and legs to it, i will load some drawing of this once i get back from my small break"

"for the head proportions are difficult to explain without a visual aid"

I like butts. D:

I sort of go for the um..sketched spine, ovaly rib cage, pelvis linework. A flour sack seems too bulgy with no curves/angles. I'm pretty good with less toned bodies but when it comes to defining someone muscley it's like WHOA where the heck does this one go? So I guess I have trouble making something sort of 3D-ish, the bulk on the skeletal system is a prob.

Perspective melts my face off too. I hate it. Dx I guess I have to feel more comfortable with proportions before I get too into it.

-again no comment-

"see you need to apply squash and strech to the flour sack, and you will see what i mean, ita a very easy shortcut i made up, and like i said, i will load up some images when i get done with my list."

"for muscules, i will say look at some muscular marvel and DC character people who draw them take muscules to the next lvl if you look at the line work and not the fully rendered picture you get a basic understanding, but if you want someone to break it down ask J, his drawing show great muscule tone/figure"

"i posted somthing on forshortening a whille back its just something simple so your eyes can see it, Fuast was going to do somthing but never got around to it"

I saw the foreshortening, it's a good tut. Thing is I look at tutorials all the time and it doesn't seem to stick. I'm like "Oh yeah, cool I can so do that." and then it's one big frustrating mess when I try to apply it to different poses. I need to practice more.

GUH I LOVE MARVEL AND DC~ (comic nerd) That's a good idea, thanks. 8D

I can't really see it in my head with the flour thing, I keep seeing very cartoonish forms. I'm looking forward to those pictures.

Lawlz, I can't get J breakdancing outta my head. "Break it down J!"

I have a problem with getting myself motivated.

I can draw well, but I usually just don't care to draw.

I can only get myself to really get into my work when I am bored, but usually I try my best to keep myself from getting bored.
So I can never find a time to actually draw anything.

see that is my problem as well, i use to be bored all the time and draw most of that time. but now i have work and alot of other things, so i just draw when im at school or on the bus to school or when i need to make a comic page. personally i try to make reasons to draw, don't get me wrong i love drawing and im good at it its just the movation that is stopping me
