Amilee Madison Wilkins Ami smiled. "I'm good..." She frowned as the sirens went off. "Hmmmph...I wonder..." She shrugged and started smiling again, thinking back on track to what she was going to say before the sirens went off. "Angel! Why don't we see if maybe you could have one of us train you. We know how to handle ourselves in combat situations and we could suffice..." She stiffened as hurried footsteps started from the dorms. She couldn't tell who it was or what was going on but she could tell that there were eight feet, four pairs. Their footsteps sounded heavier than usual...so they had to be carrying something. Frowning in frustration, Ami tried to listed to what was going on...

The grey-blue eyes peered around the corner, the sound of sirens having awoken her in her slumber. Once more, she had been surveying the complex, and had, once again, gotten tired and had fallen asleep against a wall. But now the timid girl peered around the corner of where she sat, watching the scene unfold. It seemed Agni was hurt, as he was being taken to the infirmary... Her heart went out to him... And it worried her to see one of her comrades flail as such...
She turned her attention, however, to the group in the hall. Ami, Rinie, and Angel... She sighed. She didn't talk much to anyone, but rather, tried to keep her distance... Except maybe Ami. Ami was one of the first soldier's she had spoken to after being released from the facility that performed gruesome experiments on her... The facility that had been shut down due to some SCP calling attention to the cruelties that occurred behind the closed doors.
She got up, taking a deep breath. The one thing she hated was how difficult it was to get up after resting. Moving slowly, she approached the group, her stance defensive, in a way, and she spoke, her voice soft compared to the rest. "Will Agni be alright?" she asked them, a worried look on her face, mixed with the apparent fear she had when speaking with others.

Lying unconsciencess on the stretcher, Agni's form, for once in a very long time, looked peaceful. He didn't look like he was in extreme pain, nor did he have that facial expression asking anyone to end his suffering and to snuff out his life. His breathing was heavy, considering the nosebleed and the more than average effects that liquid has on him, it was understandable. If the soldiers observed very carefully, they would not only see five 9-Volt batteries clenged in his palms but small electrical sparks jumping from anywhere on the batteries to his hands. He had short circuited when the blood contacted his lips. The only thing he could do now is devour the energy from the batteries and use it to charge his own body. It made the sound like small birds chirping, a rather delightful sound for something so gruesome. Kairi's question was answered. After she asked her question, Agni's body made a few little twitchs; signs that he was atleast alive. His fingers released their grip on the batteries and then tightened them. His toes wiggled a little. Opening his left eye, he closed the one then opened the other. Turning his head from side to side, he laid it on the pillow once more and then opened his eyes. His body, still acting unconsciencessly, mouthed the last phrase he thought. *Kill me, Enki.* (I don't really now what to put there so I did that. Please inform me if there is a proper method of indicating so)Physically, he would be alright, but mentally and emotionally, he was still deathly ill.

Mike carried a plastic bag and a container of dust cloths. He had been sent of a super important mission... to dust every room in the infirmary. Some rooms held soldiers, but most were empty. She wiped down every surface he could reach humming softly, his hips swayed to the tune, it had been one he over heard from Jason's Music player earlier, and he could not shake it from his head, not that he tried that hard.
Mike adored Jason, he obsessed over the man, everything Jason like Mike tried to like to, even if it was something he really hated he at least pretended to like it when Jason was around, not that the scientist every gave Mike a second thought. It was sad really, Jason only spoke to Him when he was giving an order, or asking for something, they never just talked. Oh, how Mike longed to have a conversation with the man who created him.
Mike moved on to the next room, dusting. Then the next room, it too was completely dust free when he was done. He moved from room to room, humming and swaying wiping and dropping the dirty clothes into the plastic bag, whose corner was tucked into the waistband of his pants. When the boy got to Agni's room he froze. His throat went dry and he blinked in the doorway. A scientist shoved him out of the way telling him to to stand in the way of working people.
His heart felt for the boy, when the scientist exited the room, Mike waked in and stood over the boy on his left side, looking down at his face. "What happened?" She asked softly and put the back of his hand to the boy's jaw. Mike leaned in close. This close he could see every pore and scar, blemish and dry spot. He smiled and blew on the boys face with his minty breath trying to get him to wake up.

She wanted so badly to reach out to Agni, to tell him it was okay, to give him a hug and be there for him, but fear of getting lose to anyone held her in her place, though subconsciously, her arm began to react, right arm lifting towards him as he was carried away, and she watched him mouth what she knew he was thinking, for it was not difficult to read people after observing them for such long periods of time. He wanted to die, and it pained her heart to see the struggle that was apparent on his face.
And her eyes continued to follow, her body leaned into his as he was carried away and down the hall into the infirmary, so much so that she felt herself moving that way, a very soft "goodbye" uttered to the three standing in the hall. She wanted to make sure he would be okay...
Entering the door, she looked about, eyes lying on the body of Agni and then to the worried posture carried by Mike. Stepping up, she grabbed hold of Mike's shirt lightly and tugged softly. "Is... Is he alright, Mike?" she asked him, before realizing what she had done, and dropped her hand, a reddish color tainting her cheeks, making her embarrassment obvious.

Mike felt someone touch him and he stood turning quickly to see Kai. Mike was not use to being touched in any way other than to be moved out of the way or examined, so instinctively he stepped back and gave a lot of space to Angi and Kai. He looked down blushing. Embarrassed to be caught so close to the other boy. His cheeks were burning furiously and he knew that he was probably an outlandish shade of magenta.
"I don't know. I'm not medic." He said shrugging. "He looks like his mind hurts. Not like he's got a cut or something. You know, Like when you want something you'll never be able to have, but you want it anyway with your whole heart. It starts to hurt after a while. And the longer the while the more the hurt." Mike was trying to compare it to his own life. Because it was all he knew. He didn't know much of what happened to the boy, he only knew that his mind must be hurting a lot for this to happen.
"Do you want to tell me about what happened?" He asked wondering if the girl needed to talk. He knew that if he witnessed something like what had happened there that he would want to share with another kid. He would want to cry and be held, and cry some more. But that was how he was, and he could never stop.

Kairi listened and nodded her head to what Mike said... It was logical, and she agreed with what he deduced from the way that Agni looked. But when he asked if she wanted to tell him what had happened, she shook his head. "I... I don't know. I just remember waking up in the hallway after hearing some sirens going off..." she said softly, though she had heard talk amongst the scientists and some in the infirmary only a few days ago when something similar had happened. Agni was depressed... And he was trying to commit suicide... Always trying... Always in pain, and it made her heart ache and her mind throb as it filled with questions... What could send someone to do such a thing? What could be so bad?

"Do you want help getting back to your room?" Mike asked caringly. If she had fallen asleep in the hall than there must be something wrong with her. "Or... Should I get someone?" He glanced around, Mike was weak, but not that weak, he could help her to her room if she needed him to, but if she fell asleep on him there was not much he could do. He could barely lift the bucket of mop water let alone her.
Mike stepped up to Agni again and looked down at him. He sat on the edge of the bed and breathed lightly trying not to disturb the boy. He wanted the boy to feel that he was not alone; Mike loved him, and would never be able to life if Agni died. Mike didn't handle death well. He had only had to cope with a death once and that was of a horribly disfigured solider two years ago, he cried a whole week after that. The solider had only lived three days.
Mike was the definition of a sissy, he could not handle the reality of life, but he was still able to love, and trust, and hope. He had dreams and wishes just like everybody else, and some day they might-... No. Mike's dream would never come true it hurt him to think about it because it really never would happen. When ever he did think about it to hard he ended up crying. Jason would never talk to him, let alone love him in that same way that Mike loved Jason.

Kairi smiled and shook her head. Mike seemed to be a really nice guy, helpful, and it made her feel better inside. At least when Agni woke up, he would see two people that cared about him... At least he would not be alone, for Kairi knew how it felt to be alone... Perhaps she liked it better, sometimes... And yet, it was too much isolation for a girl like her... Being alone, in times, were bad because of the thing that would go through her mind... The many different thoughts that seemed to be her only enemy...
"I'll just sit here... Is that okay?" she asked softly, afraid that if she spoke too loudly, it would disturb Agni. She gently placed herself in a chair in the infirmary and sighed, waiting patiently. "So... what are you in here for?" she asked him, though she noted the mop in his hand, along with the bucket of water, assuming, already, that he had been cleaning.

Mike put a finger to his lips. "I'm on a top secret mission, I've got to clean the infirmary... I got caught slacking off this morning out side of Jason's lab and was sentenced to this. He shrugged and set the mop against the wall He didn't mind cleaning as long as somebody recognized that he had done it. All he really wanted was attention.
Mike longed for attention, affection, care, his chest throbbed with jealousy when he thought of Amilee... She was the bane of her existence. The thing the Jason loved, the person who he truly wanted to be with and protect. The blind girl who couldn't even see how lucky she was to be loved by the most perfect man on earth.
Mike had been the ninth "Perfect" Solider created which meant no one remembered him as anything more than a janitor or runner. He was a tool and nothing more. Not a person who needed love. And not a child who needed knowledge. No he was simply the thing that organized and sanitized the lab after dark when everyone went to sleep. He was not important to them, and could be recreated at a moment’s notice because he was not especially skilled like so many of the others.
The young man blinked trying to stop thinking about his own sorrows, he looked at Agni, and stifled a sob, putting a hand to his face. "I-I'm sorry." He said, breathing heavily. when ever he got like this it was hard to stop.

"No, no that wouldn't work, I don't want to risk hurting one of you guys If I get mad. Even if you could probably do just as much damage as me." He sighed Looking at the crowd rushing angi away. "It's alright Rinie ... He'll be fine ... I hope." He then looked at the girl asking about Angi, but before he could answer she left with a soft goodbye. He nodded scratching his head at the girl that seemed to be shyer then then he was.

Amilee Madison Wilkins Ami's eyes widened. Agni was being carried by those footsteps. With a sigh she shook her head. Probably another suicide attempt. Waving to the others, she walked towards the infirmary. It took her a couple of minutes to find it but she finally did and walked in. It sounded if someone was about to start crying. She tilted her head to the side, trying to figure out who all was in the room. She didn't say anything for fear that she would be disturbing something.

Mike heard some one at the door and glanced that way. When he saw that it was Amilee he clamped his hand over his mouth, his eyes wide. He tried to make no sound at all. Maybe he could seek out around her, he could come back and clean this room later. It wouldn't be that big a deal, no one would notice.
When ever Mike saw Ami he got really defensive and jealous. It was like he was en entirely different person. Mike had never spoken to the girl, preferring to just pass unnoticed. He blinked and breathed though his nose trying to get himself under control... He just needed to get his emotions together.
Mike swallowed hard and stood. He moved quietly to pick up his cleaning supplies and tried to scoot around the girl in the door way, brushing her arm slightly. He hoped she wouldn't notice.

Amilee Madison Wilkins Ami gasped when something brushed her arm. She grabbed it. It was another arm. Furrowing her brow she wondered why they hadn't said anything. She concentrated and everything in the room became visible to her through the psychic energy everything possesses. Like a psychic aura that identifies things. She didn't recognize the signature and therefore stopped with the field. There weren't alot of people she didn't know and really all she had to do was to talk to someone to know who they were. "Who are you?" Her grip tightened.

Mike Froze when the girl grabbed him by the arm. He didn’t know what to do. It really was not like him but he didn’t want to talk with the girl, it was much easier to dislike when the person was unaware of you. “Mike.” He answered and tried to tug his arm away gently. He could not make her let go if he had tried, but he hoped that she would just ignore him.
He didn’t say any more than she asked but didn’t want to look rude in front of Agni. Mike glanced around and then at the girl’s face. “I have a lot of work to do, please let my arm go.” He told her in the most stable and adult voice he could manage. It was unlike him, but if she thought he was a scientist or something she might just let if go, and forget all about him.
