Satine picked up Schmees dropped clothing and quickly came back to her. "Here let my help you dress again." she said as she sat next to her and held out her shirt waiting to lift her up and dress her. She was trying not to look at the half naked warrior infront of her and was fighting the urge to blush a deep red as she thought about the safest way for her to get dressed with out hurting her wound more. She quickly pulled the ointment out of her wet cleavage and set it aside so she could apply it to Schmees chest after she got her dressed.

Schmee groggily sat up, but she didn't really like being treated like a helpless kitten. "I don't need help dressing myself Lady Satine." She grabbed the shirt and as she lifted her arms to pull it over her head the motion pulled at her wound and she reflexively recoiled her arms protecting the painful spot on her chest. "....can you just pull it over my head, I can handle the rest." She said trying now not to sound like she was in pain. "I can't seem to lift my arms very high at the moment. "

Satine frowned wanting to help her more. But she did as she was asked and pulled it over her head and let her do the rest herself. She watched her dress and chewed her lip wanting to help more. She felt bad and knew she was in pain. She looked away so that Schmee didn't know that she was watching her for reasons other then to know that she was doing ok with dressing herself. She didn't know why she was this interested in Schmee...she shouldn't be liking this female...right? She glanced back at Schmee wondering if it was ok or not, she blushed a little and looked away again.

"Thank you lady Satine" Is all she said as she fisihed dressing herself and laid down to try and sleep again.
Her rest was fitful do to the pain, but she managed not to sleep walk again.
Early in the morning Birman decided to check on Schmee and Satine. They actually weren't to hard to fine. He could smell Schmee's blood. 'The wound must have opened again.' As he approached he saw the sleeping Schmee and went to check her wounds right away. Most of the scars were closed nicely and blended with her old ones, the deep scar on her chest was the one that had opened anain, but Satine had tended to it already and he smiled as he noticed what care she took with it. He knew watching Schmee was hard with her sleep walking habit.
Schmee opened her eyes her vision was blurry at first but she reconized Birman scent, "Well monk, did you just dicide to show up now?"
"Are you all right?"
"I'm great. I can't see but I'm good."
"Try using both eyes."
"Oh, oh yeah that's better."
"Think you can stand?"
"You mean I'm not?"
Birman sighed "well that answers my question." then he looked around for Satine.

Satine had been down by the water washing her clothes a little to get the blood off them as well as her hands. She washed her hair a little as she kept an eye on Schmee from the water. She saw Birman come over and check on Schmee. She finished her hair and shook it out before tying it up in a messy bun, it helped keep the curls nice and from frizzing. She walked over after letting them have a moment. "Is everything ok?" she asked hoping that she had done a good job with keeping her save. She wasn't sure how to tell him that she had almost drowned. She looked at Schmee and smiled a little, hoping that Schmee was happy with her care, even if she didn't want to admit it.

Birman smiled and bowed in greeting to Satine, "She is fine, the poison from the dart makes her a bit delirious every now and then but it will be out of her system completely by tomorrow I should think. You have done a wonderful job tending to her so far, I can see the care you put into it."
"I can take care of myself now. I feel much better today. In fact I was planning on leaving soon."
"Are you so brave that you fear somebody caring for you?"
"fear? no I don't.....Fine I'll stay with Lady Satine."
Birman smiled "Open you heart up to Satine, she seem a good friend to have by your side."
Schmee thought about it for a moment and looked up at Satine. The morning sunlight was dancing on the water behind her and her hair pulled back out of her face. She is very pretty, stunning really, and she could fight. Why hadn't I noticed before. "Well Satine I suppose you are stuck with me a bit longer, I'll try not to be a bother."

Satine gasped at Schmee. "Oh Schmee your not a bother at all." she said as she walked over and got down near her. "Please don't think you are. I do enjoy caring for you actually. And i'm glad to hear that i'm doing a good job Birman. Thank you for trusting me with Schmee's care." she said. She looked down at Schmee and was sad inside cause she wanted to hold her hand...or tell her to stop being silly cause she just wanted to take care of Schmee...she always wanted to care for her, all the time. Even if she wasn't hurt. She looked at the wound on her chest and smiled a little. It was bad that she had been hurt but if it hadn't of been for that wound she wouldn't have been able to spend so much alone time with Schmee.

schmee's ears tilted to differnt angles in confusion for just a second, then she smiled and reached out and pet Satine lovingly then ruffled her hair. "Okay, I'll try and be a good patient , I already know I have the best caretaker."
Birman smiled knowingly at the two. Satine wasn't just mending Schmee's wounds but her heart as well. Schmee's love for Val was odd, almost one sided and although he knew Schmee didn't regret her time with Val, it would be healthier if she moved on. Satine seemed more then eager to love Schmee fully. It was ovious that she barely took her eyes away from Schmee. He knew that Schmee would catch on eventually. "I brought some fish for both of you. It's best to eat so you heal faster."
with the mention of food a growl escaped Schmee's tummy"Thank you Birman, I guess I was hungery" she blushed a little

Satine smiled a little as she looked at Birman after fixing her ruffled hair. "Thanks for the fish. I was hoping to go catch something but it took longer to clean my hair then i thought it would have." she said as she shook her hair again and then grabbed a fish and handed it to Schmee before taking her own fish. "They look really good." she said with a smile as she took a bite, glancing at Schmee again to make sure she would be able to eat the fish ok.

Birman blessed the fish after he passed it out.

May it nourish our bodies so that we can work
for the benefit of all sentient beings.
Well I'm glad I could offer this nourishment then he smiled and started eating his own fish.Schmee was eating her fish also. It was small compared to the fish that she would catch for herself but it tasted wonderful. Be sides she knew it had probably been a lot of trouble for Birman to catch thes little fish on his own and she was happy for his effort. Thank you Birman this fish is delicious

Satine watched the two of them and wondered how long they had been friends. She ate quietly as she tried to keep herself from getting a mess all over her clothes. She hoped that Schmee would be able ok staying put for a bit so she could go change...her nice clothes were covered in dirt and quite wet. Her bow was droopy and her skirt wrinkled and sad looking. She looked up at Schmee and then looked away as she thought about helping Schmee change her clothes which were bloody and dirty too. She fought back a blush but was sure her cheeks turned a little red.

Birman ate his food slowly and meaningfully, allowing his taste buds to savor the nourishment. "You are very welcome, it used to always be you bringing me food before. I thought it would be nice to return your kindness." Birman stood and bowed to Schmee and Satine "I should get back, I have not done my morning meditations and the day always feels odd if I skip them. Salutation good ladies, may your friendship bloom from this adversity, and maybe something more. " and he turned and was off.
Schmee bowed her head in return to Birman "Thank you for the blessing my friend. I hope to see you again soon." Then she smiled and watched his leave and took a quick look over at the blushing Satine. "Oh, he is single if you are interested I could put in a good word, we are just friends, I don't really like men that way." She leaned back down and put a hand over the wound on her chest. "Thank you, for looking after me it means a lot.

Pale broken wings, you're just a little tired
Satine gasped a little and her hands went to cover her cheeks, which just turned a brighter shade of red. She looked away from Schmee and at the grass as she shook her head furiously. "Ohhhh no! No I...Hes not my type....I just...felt a little...excited about...something else entirely." She said as she fiddled with her skirt a little and glanced at Schmee. Her cheeks were slowly fading back to her normal color. "Thank you for the offer though...But i tend to go with something...more feisty with long hair." she said as she looked at Schmee again and smiled softly, her cheeks getting a little pink again.

"We seem to have similar tastes, I thought I had found some one, but I wasn't there when she needed me, and she ran into the arms of another." puts her hand on her chest. "I think it hurt my heart more then this wound....but honestly...we never were more then friends anywhere but in my head I guess." tears up a bit and tries to whip them away quickly but they don't stop "I never told her how I felt, I thought it was an unspoken understanding. But she hasn't even wanted to see me since the incident. That is what really hurts, not the physical wounds. I feel like my heart is broken, but... " tears fall freely as she stares at the ground. " I guess she didn't want it in the first place. I should have said something sooner to her, then this wouldn't happen again right.
If I ever love again I will tell the person right away, and either get shot down or "
Turns her face away "I'm sorry....I didn't mean to spill all that out on you. even the scars on my heart will heal in time."

Satine wanted to reach out and wipe them when she first started crying. But as she talked and spoke to her she couldn't help it. She reached out and brushed away the tears. She looked at her with sadness in her eyes and lay down next to her. "Well I've never had anyone love me. I've just always been used before. For...anything others needed." She said as she flipped her hair back and looked at her. She looked at the sadness in her face and wanted to kiss her all over to make it better. "But lately i've been finding something to make my life seem better and it seems to be making me happy." She took a deep breath and took a chance, wanting to make Schmee feel better. She pushed some hair out of her face and smiled. "Now i just have to make her happy..." She said looking at Schmee, worried about what might happen next.
