"Do you think he'll be back in time for my party?" She asks. Then, after a moment's consideration, "And will he be ... bigger when he comes home? Like Jilan was?"
"I trust he is being taken care of, so I guess you need not check on him again on my behalf." He shifts in his chair a little. "Once you have a better idea when he will be returning, though, could you please let me know? Just so I can make sure he gets home alright, since he is not as familiar with Gaia as Jilan is."

Setsushi isn't sure about the answer to Lucretia's question, he's afraid, but he nods in response to the second. "He will have grown," he simply answers for now.
He also acknowledge Kumoru's request; "Shall I telephone you?" he wonders. Though if Xiao Huo's accomodations are not ready, that is fine, as Kouyo will have plenty of space to house temporarily.

"Okay," Lucretia acknowledges cheerfully, then focuses her attention on her ice for the time being. Giggling softly to herself, she freezes the sweat on the outside of the glass and eats that first.
"Telephone is fine," the necromancer replies with a nod. "And he has his own space set aside for him, so he need not trouble Kouyo." A smile tugs at one corner of his mouth. "I just remember him being more excited about exploring and going out rather than finding his way back, so I want to be sure he does not get lost returning to my house.
"Hopefully if he is older, then I can work on teaching him the bus system here," he adds. "As soon as I can be sure he can navigate the buses, then I can give him a bus pass like I gave to Jilan, and he can come and go as he likes, with or without Lucretia."
"He's cute, though," the Raevan interjects. "I don't really mind."
She sublimates another ice cube, looking contemplative for a moment, then asks Setsushi suddenly, "What is a Chaos, anyway?"

"T--, err, Xiao Huo will have grown," Setsushi says, blushing slightly as he catches his mistake, "so he will likely be more capable. But we will certainly not send him home all by himself."
As for Lucretia's question, he begins, "I am not really the one to ask... ... ..." but then pauses, considers, and continues, "but I understand that they are gods made up of Chaos rather than Name, as are normal gods. The Chaos Sorcerers are their servants." He pauses again, then offers, "I imagine they are quite different entities from Miss Lucretia."

The girl peers at Setsushi and nods, though it is likely obvious by the look on her face that this explanation more or less goes straight over her head. She is quiet for a moment, then asks, "Who would know more than you? Even if I am different, I'm still kind of curious."
"I am, as well," Kumoru adds, resting his hands lightly on the table, and glancing between his fingertips, and the Porcelain Knight. "I feel that knowing more about your gods and magic will help me better instruct Jilan, though he has told me that he follows the Name rather than Chaos." And so the necromancer supposes that perhaps the High Priest would be the best one to ask, but of course he has already tried that without success ... and also has a feeling that suggesting such a thing to Setsushi, the little bird's apparent guardian, would not be wise....

Setsushi looks at Kumoru for a moment before turning back to Lucretia and informing her, apologetically, that he is not entirely sure. "Of those who have come to Gaia, only Kouyo is a priest. "The rest of us do not have any special knowledge of the gods."
A long pause, in which time Setsushi looks back and forth between Lucretia and Kumoru, and then, "I am sorry I cannot be of more help."
