Name-FinneganAge-unknown, but he appears to be in his late 20s/ early 30's.Race/Ethnicity-He doesn't really refer to what race he is, other then that he's not human. His location of origin is also unclear, though since the story seems to take place in an otherworldly Europe of sorts, he does have a thick Irish accent distorted by years of speaking some unknown language. He's often unintelligible. Body-type-thin, though not overly, and squirrely. Doesn't have a great deal of muscle, but he's nimble, and he has strong legs. Brief Personality-Dodgy, endearing, ultimately kind despite his thievery, Quick-witted occasionally, and self-serving, tending to look out for only himself in the end, (excluding a couple cases.) Dominate expressions-An uneasy, or jovial smile, He's rarely ever serious, and has been known to adopt a look akin to that of a dog's when he knows he's in trouble and hopes to charm his way out of it.Must include-.....References-.....In-depth Bio --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In-depth personality-Finnegan is a rat. But in an endearing way. He makes jokes at the wrong times, or when he feels threatened, and he has a gentle smile that masks his true thieving nature. He generally only looks out for himself, but has been known to have extreme moments of clarity and heart. This being what tends to lead him to his downfall. Otherwise he'd be a fantastic thief. He has no desire to continue living underground, and would gladly forfeit his magic to be free of it, and masquerade as a human for the rest of his unnatural life. He's the type that you can't help but befriend, but you find yourself embarrassed to admit the ties, and even a little ashamed. He's often pretends to be more naive about things then he really is, a mannerism he betrays on occasion with a surprising amount of knowledge in subjects one wouldn't expect him to know a thing about.Physical description-He's on the thinner, lankier side, but he has nimble fingers, and strong legs. He can run/ sprint a great distance, before tiring, and has been known to get himself into some fairly tight places because of his stature, and flexibility. (He's incredibly flexible.) He has almost unnaturally long fingers and ears that curl up into a point, though he often wears something to keep them hidden from view. His hair is a bright orange akin to the color of a common pumpkin, and his eyes are lavender, as is common with his race. (Those of pure lineage will always have light colored eyes. Lavenders, icy blues, thin yellows, and somtimes silver.)Brief history-Finnegan has spent most of his like getting himself in and out of all sorts of tight spots and sticky situations. He has a knack for distraction, and has found that just a touch of charm, and a bit of fast talking can carry him through just about any self caused peril he should happen to find himself in. As with all members of his race he has a bound item, through which he is able to concentrate and filter the natural stream of energy that all of his kind is able to use. Humans have in the past, and still do at present refer to it as magic. Though his race produces the stream naturally they are unable to utilize it without the help of the bound item. With his most recent escapade he had his bound item confiscated indefinitely because of his actions, and since has been unable to use his magic.Characters transformation-Despite his seemingly outgoing nature, and apparent charm Finnegan has trouble maintaining any form of long-term relationship without hostility. He doesn't really trust anyone, and is afraid to offer anyone help because of where it has landed him in the past. Through his meeting of Leanna, (A human princess, now orphaned) and reuniting with Deitra, (A powerful and skilled Huntress, with whom he used to be childhood friends,) He is forced to face his fears, and everything he's ever run from. As a result he learns to take charge, and control the direction of his life, as well as gain respect of himself, and also respect from and for those around him.Character relationships/ Family-Deitra: Deitra is an old childhood friend of Finnegan's, though life, and various events drove them apart, and caused Deitra to disrespect him to the point of dislike. Their relationship is cold, and argumentative. And on several occasions Deitra has brought Finnegan before the council for punishment for various petty crimes. Finnegan fears and distrusts her, as he knows she will not hesitate to bring him to justice.
-Leanna: Though their relationship isn't necessarily hostile, they're wary of each other. And for good reason too. Finnegan leads a life of crime, and yearns to live on the surface. Having a young girl around quite literally bound to him, (thanks to Deitra,) kind of hinders that ambition a bit. Whereas Leanna is upset and scared, as her castle had just been attacked , her father and staff killed gruesomely, and she herself dragged off into the night by a strange inhuman woman, who has taken her underground where she is apparently safe. Tends to put a damper on things. But ultimately the two get along in their time of despair, and learn to rely on each other if only a little.
