(Thank you so much for the gold, Kariko! heart ) Silvanus chuckled at Aura's dismay when realizing her deer had escaped. "I'm sorry, if I'd known something out here was your breakfast, I would've stopped it.. Wait." She furrowed a brow and retraced her thought. Was her breakfast on the run? The wood elf leaned to one side and folded her arms back over her ribs casually, bow held by it's string in the crease of her elbow. "I was simply looking for a bite to eat myself--That is, until I found him walking down the human road." She nodded her head at Nero. Silvanus' dark, messy hair wavered in the wind, which she had to take in her grasp in order to keep at bay. Her light blue eyes lifted to the sky and she shivered as goosebumps became apparent on her bronze flesh. "The scent of wet dirt and a fresh breeze.." She murmured under her breath, slightly romanticized by the image of ebony and argent clouds rolling over the tops of evergreens. "Headed toward the human town?" She looked at Nero, "Why?"

((You're welcome ^_^)) "Well, if you must know, me and Quaxo are somewhat out of favor with my people right now, we're simple trying to evade any other night elves," Nero explained. "Yeah, Nero messed up big time when he ran off like that," Quaxo added. As they kept walking Nero Stepped on a sharp rock, cutting his foot open, his blood was indeed inky black. ((I knew you were both curious.))

Aura inhaled the air deeply, it made her excited. "To the Human towns, then?" She giggled to herself and tied the long wooden staff to her back. "Oh dear.." She watched Nero accidently cut open his foot. "Black..." She stared for a moment, how it oozed out of his wound. Her pupils began to dilate and her heart beat quicker...
Aura bit her lip hard to get herself out of it. She rubbed her forehead and focused back on Nero himself. "Ooooh, ouch, do you have a cloth to tie around that?"

Nero tore off the hemming of one leg of his pant legs, he wrapped the strip around the cut. "I'm fine, night elves heal quickly," Nero said.

"Ooh, I see.." Silvanus frowned slightly as she listened, somewhat too intently, to Nero's story. She tilted her head quizzically as she began to wonder why he would dare leave his own clan--It was unthinkable. At least for an elf such as herself. Her tribe was so tight-knit, it sounded like blasphemy to ever leave. "Hm. Will you ever go back to your people? I mean--You surely aren't leaving them forever. Are you?" Her butterscotch complexion paled slightly as she gave him a worried look. Her eyes darted to Nero's foot, watching as the dark blood dripped out of his instep. "Ouch, are you alright?" She took a step forward and began digging through a small leather pouch tied to her belt. "I've got something.." She trailed off as the night elf began to wrap a torn piece of his own clothes around his foot. "Are you sure you'll be alright? I've got something that could heal that--It could get infected." Silvanus frowned.

"Really, I'm fine, and my people have made it clear I'm not welcome back," Nero said. "-at least not with his head on his shoulders," Quaxo added. Nero had left his people nearly three months ago, this was in part Quaxo's fault, but it was mostly his.

The horses' trotting made a steady rhythm on the trail through the forest. Vlad was sitting on the saddle, hands holding the reigns as they moved along their way. The long, brown trench coat was kicked out behind him as it covered the horses' hindquarters. He had his brown cowboy hat and black eyepatch on, which made him usually stick out. There wasn't much to his other clothing. A white button-up shirt under a brown vest and a pair of brown pants. He was talking, even though noone was around him. Vlad was talking to the mice that were with him. There were threesleeping on the brim of his hat while one was poking out from his coat pocket and one was sitting on the head of the horse. He talked to them due to the partial insanity that never left him as a kid. "We're just traveling through the forest, Rufus. It depends on what happens. We could go through the city or end up camping here for the night." He told to the one poking it's head out of his coat pocket. "I know, I know... I just haven't had much work lately. There's bound to be some injured people on the road here or in the city."

Aura suddenly sank to the ground, her ear to the dirt. She closed her eyes and listened. "It seems the forest is quite busy today..." The ever so slight vibration of a two-beat gate became more apparent as a few seconds passed. "..Care to tell us what's coming, Quaxo?" She stood, and pulled herself up into a tree above them, crouching on a branch. "It could be a soldier, I'd get off the road." Aura climbed a bit higher and looked ahead, though her gaze was interrupted by more plantlife. Inhaling another breath of air, she took it in slowly, and growled as it let out from her lungs. It had been a long while since she smelled another werewolf, and it was a bit intoxicating.

Nero nodded for Quaxo, then the possession said, "something big, something manshaped, and several little somethings." He paused, "A horse, a human?" He questioned himself, "and, mice?" The mice shocked him slightly, maybe it was a cart carrying goods.

Vlad chuckled a bit. "You need to calm down, Rufus. Everything will be..." He started off, getting interrupted by a slight breeze blowing scents his way. There was a Night Elf, a Wood Elf, and... Another Lycan? He hadn't smelt one in ages. "Psst. Wake up, little ones." The mice on his hat woke up and climbed down, joining the other two as they climbed into coat pockets. Five small heads poked out of pockets to look at what they were approaching. Vlad kept his crossbow and sword in mind to be prepared if anything bad happened. Rounding a turn, he saw the Wood and Night Elves walking. He could tell the Lycan was in the tree. "Greetings and salutations, fellow travelers." He greeted with a smile. His black hair slightly danced around the sides of his face as the horse slowed as he got closer.

The wood elf's ears twitched slightly as she spun around, watching as the lycan trotted up to them on horseback. A wide, welcoming smile spread onto Silvanus' face as she waved a hand to the new comer. It wasn't like her to treat anyone with suspicion or caution. "Greetings!" She replied, eyes traveling over what she thought to be an excess in clothing. Then, she looked to the petite heads peering from his coat. Tilting her head, the elf furrowed her brows together in slight confusion. Why would a man need mice in his pockets, of all places?
~*~
A long, terrorizing howl pierced the peaceful murmur of people chatting, horses trotting, and squeaky wheels carrying carriages and loads of equipment through the Oenu Kingdom. Faces turned and children hid behind their mother's long dresses and clutched their aprons. Soldiers ran to a large cloud of dust and the cause of all the screaming and clattering of metal and wood: A horse drawn cage was struggling to stay upright, surrounded by soldiers. Inside the cell was a large, dark beast, howling and throwing herself against the bars of her imprisonment. A lycan--and a large one at that. She shoved her large hand-like claws through the bars and clawed at the soldiers, while snapping her tooth-filled jaws at the hands grappling the bars in order to keep the cage from tipping over. The horses pulling her along whinnied and struggled to keep pulling forward, their harnesses occasionally pulling them back and even lifting them off the ground at times where Ecksis rammed against the right side of the cage. One soldier finally unsheathed his sword, slinging it in the direction of the monstrous beast. Catching her forearm, the wolf bellowed another ear shattering howl.

Quaxo and Nero had heard the distant howling, they wondered if the others had as well. Then Quaxo noticed the mice in the man's pocket, "heheh, do you like your meals fresh or something?" Nero glared furiously at a toadstool, had his blindfold been off, it very well may have made a lycan run in fear.

Vlad smiled down at Silvanus. He picked up a hand and waved back down to her. He saw her looking confusingly at his friends. "Go on, introduce yourselves." He whispered down to his jacket. One mouse crawled out of his pocket and onto his shoulder, squeaking a bit in his ear. "Aww, don't worry, Rufus." He looked back down to the Wood Elf. "He's just being shy. This is..." He looked off into the distance, hearing the howl. It seemed to be coming from the town he was heading to. He looked mortified at the Night Elf's question. The mice withdrew into the pockets. "How could you say such a thing?! Look at you! You got all of my friends scared, including Rufus! The nerve..." He was partly insane, after all. He considered even the most mundane of creatures to be actual talking people. Saying that was like saying if you like to eat your best human friend. He turned away from the man, making his horse ride on the other side of the road. He took a deep breath and sighed before opening up his jacket and taking out two boxes. He opened up one and took out a cigarette that he placed in his mouth. He took a match out of the other one and struck it to light the cigarette. He closed the boxes and put them back into his jacket as he started slowly riding again.

Aura sniffed curiously and slunk back down the tree, leaping out and onto her feet lightly. She stood up slowly by the horse and stroked it's mane, Aura had a certain fondness for domesticated animals. "Why are you out here? And not with your pack...?" She asked the newcomer, Aura had never met a turned human before, and assumed all of her kind were born that way. Her attention turned to the mice, and she watched the one on his shoulder while continuing to pat the horse.
Suddenly, a howl filled her ears and peirced her mind, she twitched and knelt to the ground, animal instinct forcing her to answer, it was loud and sounded more human-like. Aura stood back up and rubbed her temples. First last night, and now this? How much excitement could there be in one day? "Did that come from the towns, Quaxo?" She turned back to face Vlad. "My name is Aura."

Theran nearly fell off the side of the dock as he felt a hair-raising howl shock through him. He immediatly leapt to his feet and ran twards the town square, where the people had grown oddly silent and a beast was making noise. He pushed his way through the fightened crowd and watched over a soldier's shoulder. A large, dark form fought and struggled within a cage drawn by horses. Theran watched it call out again in pain, struck by a sword. He winced, it hurt to watch.

"Let me apologize for Quaxo," Nero said the the mouse man, "He's an a**." After that quaxo started speaking, "Jeez, you know me for a few minutes and I'm already your tool, and yes, that is coming from town."
