The things she said surprised and angered him. - Other elves trying banish or destroy dragons? With the support of the council? Why?! - His eyes glowed in an earthen tone, and, for a moment, dust and clumps of dirt were gathering around him, as if becconed by his rage. He quickly noticed all these changes, he saw them, he felt the surge of magic inside him. This scared him for a moment, so he tried to calm down. - I can't believe this... What's happening to me? Why do these elves go unhindered? It seems summoning an angel is the only way to go, like you said. - He paused, as he looked at the ground, then at all his surroundings, as in appreciation of the land. - I'm going with you. I'm with you all the way.

"Okay. But first, I think I should wait for Kuro to catch up. His specialty is healing; he'll inevitably be useful. And I think we should go to the castle of my mother, the dragon of the air. I may be mistaken in my beliefs of the powers of angels, but she was alive when all of them were summoned; she will not be."

Humiliated, Kuro had a sort of angry blush on his face. What is it about cat hybrids? They always hafta sit there trying to trick you, playing with your heart and emotions and everything.
"I-I-I-...Fine, you can follow me if you want to see where she went. I mean, I guess, I...GAH! I give up. Just come with me." He was blushing ferociously and stomped off, still looking incredibly flustered.

Lia pride in herself showed as the sun glowed on her golden coat. Standing on her hind legs, she transformed with a fluid movement into her more human form, her pointed ears on the sides of her head, and tail just shore of her calfs.
Her trinkets and weapons chinked and clicked on her belt. It was better to let it known you were no one to bother rather than after trouble began to brew. Her clothing fuzzy, golden skin had a forboding glitter to them, like a forbidden treasure one cannot touch.
Aurelia followed the elfman, staying two paces behind and one step to the right, following her standard procedure for an assignment. She had yet to research his political history and personna, and followed her usual tactics. She wasn't worried about Duna, if he was even following them. He was a familiar face, and though she trusted no creature, he proved to be the closest thing to an aquaintance.
"Whereabouts would your Chiku be going, elf? Perhaps it would be proper to have introductions before going any further?" she asked in a low, playful tone.

"Yeah, it would. I'm Kuro of the elves, and my specialty is healing. And, for the sake of the Dragons, stop following me like you're on duty! To follow me basically means to reject the council. Accept it, or don't follow.

To follow me basically means to reject the council. Accept it, or don't follow. " I am Aurelia the Golden, cat-hybrid, rogue assassin and mercenary. My mother, Eleania the Golden Huntress, and my hybrid father, Aurel the White. I prefer to be hailed as Lia," she gave a short bow. "And because of my trade and status, I find my position proper. My loyalty to the Council is noexistant, I am my own mistress. But, if Kuro the Elf wishes it, thena rugue like myself should obliged." Lia moved to his side and continued her leisurely pace.

Duna sighed with pleasure at having his face lovingly stroked.
"It's not often that such beautiful Cat-lings come to visit and to nuzzle," he purred, "Gives an old Cat a bit of hope for the next generation."
He cuffed her affectionately, and winked his large green eyes.
"I will follow, for now, as I like," he said, his eyes betraying no emotion, "But eventually, I will need to find my own way. Thank you for inviting me on your silly little endevor. As you know, I may be of service, and I have a nose for adventure. But always remember, if we win gold, I get a fair share, and when we make camp, I get a warm place to rest, my Cat-ling."

Kuro smiled warmly and subtlely at Lia, now walking beside him. He whispered, "Thank you, little ca-"
Suddenly an arrow shot out from the trees. Just barely dodging it, Kuro grabbed his bow and shot where it had come from. Something fell from the trees. He couldn't see what it was, and as he walked closer, he collapsed, feeling nauteous. The thing disappeared, evaporated, as Kuro kneeled on the ground, vomitting.
"Sh-s**t! What was that!?" He gasped.

Oh? You mean the elf you left behind? - Rey asked, curious about him. - And your mother can tell us about the angel? I think we should go, before they get to her first. But it makes sense to wait if he's a healer.

Lia had jumped to Duna's side, ready to fight by him. The elf had shot an arrow in return.
She was surprised at his display of weakness, vomiting on the grounds, shaken from shot nerves. Lia approached the spot where the creature had fallen. Stopping over, she sniffed and listened.
And then it happened. She hadn't meant it to, but the smell of blood woke triggered her primordial urges. It happened countless of times on assignments, but this was suppose to be a meaningless adventure.
Lia turned to Duna, her eyes dialated to mere specks, teeth showing, and back arched. Her forms meant nothing. She was just as deadly in her human one, and anyone looking at her would know it.
"Kuro, Duna," her voice now a quiet, low growl. "We're being tracked."

Kuro coughed and weakly stood on his feet.
"Whatever it is, it's deadly, and it's strong. We should get out of here. If we get to where Chiku went, we should be safe. Let's run!" Gripping his stomach with one hand, and his bow with the other, he went off, staggering at first, then slowly gaining speed and stature as he went.

Duna hissed, feeling his head fill with Power. Someone had snuck up on him, and that pissed him off.
His fur started to sparkle, but in reality, small charges of electricity were building up on his body, causing him to get larger and for his claws to lengthen into killing scythes.
The one that had just fallen on the ground was of no concern to him. He wasn't hit in a vital area, and would soon recover from the shock of the hit.
"Take him with you, my Cat-ling" he growled, more animal than speech, "I have someone to contend with...I'll meet you later."
His green eye winked at her, as they filled with his power.

"Yes, he would. He's coming now, I can see him. But, he's...staggering? And with a cat hybrid?" She looked worried.
"What happened?"

As soon as Rey saw him staggering, he closed his eyes and put his ears to the ground. He felt many different vibrations, but a few became clear. Footsteps. They were light, and not very fast. He realized those were the elf's. But he was paying more attention to another sounds. Something was chasing him. These were also light footsteps, but were a lot faster, like they were trying to catch the elf. Those belonged to the cat-hybrid. A bit farther, more footsteps. A gang? Maybe some thugs? Rey didn't know.
Something's following them, and it's gaining quickly.
He tried to discern something, anything that might be following, but he didn't see it. This worried him deeply.
