Joshua rested his chin on the infant's head, he was well practiced. He smiled, and sat down next to his sleeping father, who was leaned against a tree. He was careful not to wake either of them, baby or father, and quietly muttered, "Kole, you think you're going to have a Mommy anytime soon?"
Ellie leaned against Matth, and smiled up at him. "Towd ya." She managed. "I towd you I who I say I was--you no wisten. I tell twuth, I no lie."
Risa gave Matth a confused look, before smiling at him. "I don't know what her obsession is with the Greek gods." She told him. "She seems especially to like the stories about Demeter--thank the gods there aren't that many of them. She's been like that since I found her--along with the making flowers bloom whenever she's having a temper tantrum." The fae sighed. "Strange kid." She muttered.
Vate shook his head and handed Stasia a box. He bent down on one knee--and instantly felt four pairs of eyes watching him. He'd gotten Thali's interest easily, she was a hopeless romantic. He hadn't expected Miles, Vincent and Joshua to be watching as well. He blushed. "Um. Stasia, well.. We've known each other---" He continued with such a cheesy proposal that the writer didn't feel like posting it. "I love you, marry me?"
Miles looked back to his friend, before hiding behind the tree Ben was leaning against. It was thick enough for him to hide behind.

Kole yawned, babbling a bit. He didn't respond coherently, but he had picked up on one word that'd he'd more than likely be repeating later.
Matthias smiled lightly at Risa. "Every child is different." he said, shrugging. To be honest, he didn't find it quite that odd, but that was just him.
Stasia blushed profusely as the box was offered, but not because of the sweet gesture. It was what her daughter was saying that embarrassed her.
"Aww, that's so sweet! Mom, you have to say yes! Then it'll be just like in your books, except with less-" Ginger was cut off by her mother using the full "Ginger Renee!". She fell silent instantly; it was not a good thing when Mom used the middle name.
Stasia sighed, then looked at Vate. To be honest, the thought of setting herself in for a life-long commitment scared her. But, she really cared for Vate. She took a deep breath before answering. "Yes."
Behind them, Ginger cheered....until 'Zuba biffed her in the back of the head.
Zemel was too busy counting to notice the romantic little scene unfolding at the picnic tables.

Joshua smiled, and leaned against the tree. "Well, it looks like Nattie and Ginger have a new Daddy, anyway." He muttered. He didn't notice when his father jolted up.
"Oh, Josh." Ben said with a yawn and a stretch. "Is the picnic over?" He asked.
Joshua shook his head. "The excitement's just begun." He said, pointing towards Stasia and Vate. He nodded.
Ben's face broke into a huge grin. "Well, it's about time." He muttered. "I was getting tired of Vate telling me how hopelessly in love with her he was.." His son just grinned at him, reminded of the story of how his father had met his mother. Talk about hopelessy in love.
Vate was blushing, and he turned to frown at Ginger. He silently vowed revenge, and looked at Stasia. He'd been so surprised that she'd said yes that he'd forgotten what to do next. It wasn't until Thali came up and biffed him in the head that he realized he was staring.
"You idiot." The elf muttered. "Kiss her already!"
Miles remained hidden.
