She was greatful that Kurai had answered her questions. So it was still the same day? For some reason Seyla thought she had slept much longer than that, maybe her mind was just playing tricks on her. Either way her questions were answered, all except the ones about Joy.
Dance...she didn't like the sound of that...many referred to bouts as dances did they not? And it was blatantly obvious that these two had history. It was odd though how Kurai agreed. Did he know what he was stepping into? She couldn't be sure. Part of her wanted to jump up and warn him but she had to keep telling herself that it wasn't her problem, not her affair.
"I can't get involved" she said over and over again despite her longing to do the exact opposite. It was when they left the room that she got really suspicious of Joy. And even if it wasn't her business she could at least watch couldn't she? She would just watch, not interfere, just watch. But she knew she would interfere, who in their right mind would watch a fight that could end someone's life? She knew she couldn't yet she kept trying to convince herself otherwise.
"Stay here Mint" she said softly and crept out of the bed again, sneaking out the door and off in search of Kurai and Joy.

Magically, the center of Kurai's little bedroom began to alter in light. It seemed to get darker, and quickly one could see small dark specks jolting around in an energetic mass, then at once they charged toward each other.
There was Rene, her head turned down, as it had been for days, with streaks of gewy black masscara and tears tattooed along her cheeks. This was all that could be seen, through her brown hair that dangled over her shoulders. One could see odd magenta pink at the roots of her hair. The long slightly wavey earth brown hair shook along with Rene's shivering body. She seemed to be struggling. Her fingers clenched tighter onto chest.
"I hate myself. I'm sorry."
The words were sloppy. They seemed to be altered in pronouncation with the drenched aroura, that was abruptly burned away. The bright roots in Rene's hair grew, they melted down the girl's smooth, shining brown hair and stained them. The flesh on Rene's left arm was torn away into the air. The skin was peeled off in massive and petite sheets. The muscles splashed away and twisted till they deteriated. A fighting black slinked down the bones that were crumbling to white and red dust. This black spun itself in the arms place, still pressed across the girl's bossom. Within the moment it was transformed.
"Oni-san has been very bad."
The arm hovered away from Rene, it was completely transformed, it was, the same robotic arm that Mint had.
"Very very bad."
And a barage of thin illuminated needles flung themselves from the arm's finger's at Kurai's face.

Shaiya slowly descended from the clouds, her white robes whipped around her pale legs from an unfelt wind. A babe lay in the heavenly woman's legs, her saphire eyes were glowing, her state calm as she sucked on a rosy thumb. Her amazingly long hair was bound in a braid, very strand in place. The arms that held the toddler were perfectly formed. The creamy white skin crept up until it blended with the white fabric at her elbow.
The lady bore herself with unearthly grace, her head was held at a humble angle, the sweet curve of her neck adorned with a strange locket, it was gold and glowed with the purest light there could be, it even outshone her golden hair.
Slowly, Shaiya transferred the baby to her left arm and descended, watching the two people out on the deck, the other girl coming in from outside. Her eyes were sad but intense, in a smooth voice, the words pronounced in a smooth yet clear tone.
"So it begins, the battle between two fierce hearts."
Shifting the toddler once more, she looked the calm baby in the eyes, holding the girl out infront of her as she announced in a soft soothing voice, betraying her words.
"Your namesake and aunt against your godfather, you may be a small 4 year old, but you will remember this fight, no matter the outcome. No matter the hurt that comes from it, it will be your curse and your blessing, may you never hate dear one."
The baby let out a soft whining sound, not loud enough to disturb the others. Shaiya gently layed her back in her arms, bouncing her slightly as she calmed the little baby Joy down. The battle was coming, Celeste would feel it, but would not be able to come, she could not interfere with this, it needed to pass it's course. May her babe never learn to hate like this.

"ahh.. Hai!" Mint exclaimed as he watched Seyla get out of the bed and then run out of the room. no wait.. Hikari! Kurai is getting hurt! our brother! Mint then tossed her human hand onto her head. "wait! but... Seyla said that we shouldn't go.. we must stay.." Mint then sat straight onto her bum.
"...." Mint took a few blinks as she heard a frightning shattering sound. Mummurs of people all over the place started to fill up in the church. couple doors were heard slamming and basic chaos took place.
"... I hope Kurai nii-san is alright.." She thought.

"GAHHH!" Kurai was slam straight into the wooden cross at a frightning speed that Kurai could only tell when the frightning shattering feeling struck through his back and overlap all his nerves. The cross kept its structure though as Kurai slid down it and fall straight to the ground. A small blood trail fell smeared down from Kurai's back and along the cross. Kurai's body then started to shake with pain. His thoughts were only to hold onto his Flame blade and not let go. It was his only defensive tool now against the powerful Joy.
... hah.. Usless church... looks like Joy's power is still too much for me to handle.. even with all the holy energy flow around.. Kurai chuckled and then lifted himself up. It was a large stumble forward across the marble floor. Kurai was looking frantically upstairs where Joy would be. Kurai was gripping onto his pendant as tight as possible Protect me.. Mother Aili
"Joy..." Kurai said with a smile and then Pulled his Flame blade upwards. "listen... I only wanted to help you in the begining... Mother Aili told me.. The laws of life.. if they are bent... something is horribly wrong..." Kurai chuckled and then let out a heavy breath. He then cleared his throat and then heard a few footsteps come by Joy. There was Seyla.. she came out too.
He then smiled more. "But then when i took the bullet... I thought.. maybe the Lord wanted you to stay alive... for a reason.." Kurai chuckled. "i thought.. so i guess this was how i was going to die... but then Destiny.. came to me and offered me to continue life... but with the blood of the tainted!" Kurai emphasized harshly on the tainted part and a couple of people who watched let out a chorus of murmurs.
"And thats when i knew.. maybe i did have a reason to live too.." Kurai then closed his eyes and then tossed his flame blade to the side. The flame blade hit the ground and quickly evaporated into harmless ashes. "And now.. i think i found it..." Kurai then opened his eyes and looked up to Seyla.
"I have a responsibility to help others.. as a High priest.. I couldn't just fall down and die Joy..." Kurai clenched his fist and then looked over at Joy. "So i ask of you Joy... I don't want to fight you... I want to live.. I am scared of dying..." Kurai then placed one hand over his pendant. "I know i am no match against you... its already proven from last fight..." Kurai then sighed.
"but if you want to take my life Joy... then that is..HCCCKK" Kurai's words didn't finsh as suddenly something struck into his chest and force him backwards. Sounds of fleash ripped through Kurai's chest and then he stumbled backwards against falling back onto the altar. "... kkkcc..." Kurai forced out an angry hiss of air. There on his chest laid a bunch of thin needles stuck fast into his chest.
"I gues... that means... no..." Kurai said painfully.

"RENE!!!!" Mint exclaimed in fear as Rene came into Kurai's room suddenly she then held her human hand up to her face as she watched a strange similar robotic arm formed through Rene's flesh. Mint looked at it in horror and then looked at her own.

Seyla listened to his words rather shocked by his commitment to his cause. Surely she had expected this coming from him, he was a high priest after all. But it seemed so unlike Kurai to beg for mercy like that. Part of her wondered if Joy would grant him that liberty but it seemed it wasn't so.
She wanted to scream as she watched the horror unfold right before her eyes. Kurai...what...she couldn't explain it, her mind wouldn't let it register. One moment he was speaking and the next he was just...
"KURAI!!!" she screamed as she raced to his side, tears streaming down her face almost as if two rivers were there.
"Kurai please..please say something Kurai!" she started to panic, Kurai what would she do without Kurai?!

Shaiya had been watching carefully, everything was changing, Kurai was asking for mercy.. he had changed. Although she had never really met him, Shaiya glowed with happiness, the lord had wanted peace between the two for so long, they just hadn't realized it and Shiaya could not interfere with those among the living.
Her face had been shining in happiness until Kurai was impaled with needles.. Everything turned around, her mind normally full with peace was now in a turmoil, her face frozen in shock.
Kurai NO!! It isn't your time
Shaiy could not interfere with the living, she could not interfere!! She wasn;t allowed, it would be betraying her lord.. she couldn't help him. Her face turned up to Joy, she had stayed in place, the baby in her arms held tightly to her chest. If Joy asked for help, to heal Kurai she could, the lord thought he had learned his lesson, she could even burn away his taint, but she could not interfere without a word from Joy.
Little Joy had been watching, a high pitched wail escaped the toddler's lips and beagun to reach a high level of a screaming tantrum, carefully, Shaiya rocked her until she was calm once more though Shaiya was in turmoil herself, she couldn't help Kurai.

Joy stood there watching as he talked,she had to hug herself her body was shaking so violently. Her pupils were dilated,and her cat ears pinned to her head. Joy had created a peaceful,merciful nature. But she was what she was.
But before she could do anything,someone else did. Joy eyes widened,as big as they had that day as she saw blood splatter,staining the wood cross. Our dance ended so soon..gomen Death. Wait a little longer..for the both fo us.
Jumping down from the balcony,Joy started to run,slowly at first,then at a full sprint towards Seyla and Kurai. Her eyes watering,as the tears fell behind her. Dropping to her knees,Joys hand shook. Gripping his shirt,Joy shut her eyes tight.
"Baka!!Baka!! Kuri-chan can't die..hes got to much to live for..Don't die on Joy,Seyla-chan needs Kuri-chan,Minty-chan needs her Onii-chan..and Joy needs someone to forgive her." Her vocie shook,as tears rolled down her face.
Opening her eyes Joy looked around her,. "Someone..anyone..Help..Help.." Her desperate pleas echoing across the walls,down the halls,like a mourning ghost.

"Ne ne Joy-sama. Whos that in the picture??" Joy looked at the photo that Momo held up. It was of Joy hugging Kurai tightly,with Kurai looking annoyed,as trying to get some air. "Ahh..thats Kuri-chan!! That was around when Joy first met him...hes so nice to Joy,when Joy has nothing to offer." Momo looked at the picture again. "What is he to Joy-sama?" Joy tilted her head. Then she smiled softly,taking the picture away from Momo,and looked at it. "Hes an important person in my life..hes one of the first friend Joy ever had!!"

"You draw Nii-san?" whispered a soft voice from the side. It was Mint with the robotic arm. Kurai chuckled and looked over at Mint. "I told you.. don't call me that.." Kurai then reached for an eraser and rubbed it gently across his sketchpad. "I used to..." Kurai said softly. "A lot... but now i just have been busy..." Kurai said with a nervous chuckle. "Being a high priest isn't that easy you know.. especially for one that never learned to heal..."
Mint then slowly crawled across and under Kurai's arm. "It looks.. family.." She said with a smile. Kurai looked over at Mint with some confusion and then laughed. "yes.. this is your older sister Rene.. she's not perfect.. but she's a lot of fun.. Thats me.. and that is father.. and Mother.. And over there on the other side is Ky..."
Mint smiled and then slowly hugged Kurai with her human arm. Kurai was used to it by now. Mint was a very touchy kind of sister. Kurai just simply closed his eyes and placed his sketchpad down on the table and returned the hug weakly. "can you draw me in there Kurai?"

Kurai looked over at Seyla and let out a smile. "heh.. Don't worry Seyla.. Im okay.. what are you still doing here? Can't you see theres JOy here? go freakin get out of here..."
Kurai grunted angrily as he shut both eyes tightly. "Joy... If thats what you want me to be... dead.. i will accept it.." Kurai said with a smile. and then coughed. "damn., it hurts..." Kurai then tried to stand up but stumbled backwards onto the alter even harder then before. Already Joy's first move damaged him enough to weaken his balance. Kurai was only human after all. There was only so much he could take. Kurai then watched as Joy jumped down and went to him/
So this is death huh.. Kurai said with a smirk and then reached his hand out to summon his blade. But quickly the pain in his chest didn't let him summon it and forced his hand back to retreat. "Gah..!" Kurai yelled out angrily and then say that Joy shook him by his shirt. Kurai looked up at her confused.
"Baka!!Baka!! Kuri-chan can't die..hes got to much to live for..Don't die on Joy,Seyla-chan needs Kuri-chan,Minty-chan needs her Onii-chan..and Joy needs someone to forgive her."
Kurai let out a very evil smirk. "What are you talking about... Spawn..." Kurai said angrily and then with his remaining energy weakly tried to Shove Joy away. "You attacked me didn't you... you want me dead.. and don't get me wrong Joy.. I want you dead too." After Kurai's shove Kurai's body fell forward from the movement of his body and onto his side.
"crying for help... you stupid gurl..." Kurai grunted angirly.

Two fresh blood colored eyes shot a look at the little Mint. The girl who had just interfeared in the quickly solved fight scanned the little creature.
She has the same arm. They continued to observe the girl that was quite frightened at this display. Wait. I fought her once. She set up that barrier to protect that girl. That girl that worked for Nii-sama. I cant fight her. It will distract me.
The girl rocketed off in a high jump. Her whole body seeed to act as if there was no gravity in the room, it touched itself against the ceiling, lying there as if it was resting. Then the girl turned her black shining arm of some precious material so that the finger tips carressed the ceiling. The fingers twitched and the slim body recotched off and sliced through the floor. It turned itself so that it landed standing with tippy-toes delegately balanced atop the backing of a wooden pew. Splinters, light oak scrapps, and dust crashed and floated down around her.
"You didn't save me." The arm clentched itself into a fist. "NIETHER OF YOU DID!" An erie smoke seethed out of the hand, the girl's chest lifted in heaves. The arm slashed horizonatally, large radiating slices of clear metal shot out one after another.

Shaiya watched as Joy ran to Kurai, her eyes leaving tears behind her. Her heart felt close to bursting, it hurt so much. Shaiya's eyes would have teared up if she had let them, but little Joy was in her arms, even if she had brought her, she did not want to frighten the child. Joy could speak and walk and run and play, but she was very touchy.
Hearing Joy's plea, Shaiya immediatley tried to go to her, but then the voice had come into her head, a memory...

"I'll let you go down Shaiya, the lord permits it, but there are rules"
"Anything, I wan't to see my sister, to make her feel better.. she seems so sad"
"There are specific things. Your body will be more of a mirage, you will be able to touch and hold, but you will not leave fingerprints, indentations, though you will feel. You may talk, but you must not influence, you may do only goosd, you will not fight or use your holy magic..."
"Of course, of course, I will honor my lord, I will only help my sister and her friends."
"But your sister is violent is she not?"
"That is not nice! Have you not watched her grow up! Of course she is violent, who was there to teach her otherwise?"
"Yes, but the last thing, you have great healing magic..."
"It is true..."
"If your sister is laying there dying, you may not heal her."
"Wha--"
"You may not use your heavenly energy to heal"
"But.."
"You may not interfere"
Tha-- that isn't fair!"
"YOU MAY NOT USE YOUR MAGIC!!"
"Yes.. of course"

Shaiya was hesitant, it would go against her whole agreement, she would be sucked into heaven and not permitted to leave.. or they may even banish her to hell. A shiver rolled down her back.
But she could not let this man die, it was not his time, surely the lord of forgiveness would let her save this man, this holy man.
Finally finished her decision, she floated down to the people on the balcony, her white foot touching the ground softly, her ankle bending to take her illusionary weight.
Carefully she put down the small toddler down who immediately sat down and looked at the bloody Kurai infornt of her with wide innocent eyes. Kneeling on white joints, Shaiya carefully extended a hand over Kurai's chest.Gently but firmly, she pushed down, soaking her hand in Kurai's blood.
"Please lord, he has suffered enough. they have learn't and proven their worth. I am capable of doing this on my own, but it would make the healing dirty without your consent. I accept responsiblility for them if only you save this man once more, my sister did it once, and I return the favor."
A wave of pleasentness flooded through her, she had her lord's consent! Her face amass in a white glow of comfort, she smiled a smile of heavenly effort and gently let the lord's magic flow through her and transfer her arm into the man's body.
The white heavy air slowly amassed around his wounds, carefully closing them and taking away the pain, a fresh pulse of his brouht the magic into his bllod stream, his life force and his soul. Slowly he was being healed, blessed and forgiven by the one holy lord through his vassal Shaiya. Kurai was purified through and through, it brought ectsay to Shaiya, to see the lord do his work and feel him doing it through her, she hoped Kurai would realise how blessd he was.
Seeing the other girl seemingly angry, Shaiya felt sadness and removed her hand from Kurai, not wanting him to feel the sadness. Looking at the woman that had the metal arm who had shot the metal slices at them, she carefully used the remnants of the lords almighty magic to block them. The girl's words confused her, but she supposed it was some mortal thing.
"What Ails you, daughter of eve?"

Seyla looked at him as if he were crazy. There was no way she was leaving him!
"No! I'm not leaving you! I'm not gonna let you die just because some stupid demon cat thing or whatever she is threw these needles into your chest! Kurai you've gotta trust me I can stop her I can beat her! Please Kurai don't make me go! You know how powerful my flame is, and you know its only a matter of time before I can't hold back any longer!" She pleaded. Her pleas continued and although she desired to stay here and protect him more than anything she knew that it was ultimately up to him and if he said to go she would have to go.
But how...why she couldn't leave him like this she could never live with herself! She actually growled under her breath as she glared at Joy.
"How could you do this to him?! How could you try and take away probably the only person who can help me get this stupid bloody glove of my arm! Who could maybe make it so I wouldn't have to kill and hurt people when I get like this! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!" she screamed, her emotions were getting the better of her and mind over matter was the last thing on her mind. Rather instead she concentrated on the blue flames forming in her hands, she'd get back at Joy for him, she had to. She owed it to Kurai to do just that.

Joy gasped as she felt an extreme holy force approach. She could smell Baby Joys scent,and another that was close to Celestes. But this pain surging through her body was too much. She couldn't even turn her head around to see who it was.
She collasped on the ground,taking in deep breathes,trying to ignore the pain. Her whole body was shivering,as if a gust of wind blew by. She barly noticed a shadow move up in the rafters. A small smirk played across her lips though.
Slowly heaving herself up,her knees banged together,and her arms hanged loosly by her side as she straightened her back. Her long green hair was starting to unravel from the ribbons that Joy used to keep it all together.
"You attacked me didn't you... you want me dead.. and don't get me wrong Joy.. I want you dead too."Joy hadn't responded,not even knowing herself whys he was doing this. She just thougth this was what she was meant to do. "How could you do this to him?! How could you try and take away probably the only person who can help me get this stupid bloody glove of my arm! Who could maybe make it so I wouldn't have to kill and hurt people when I get like this! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!"
Joy looked around her with a relaxed dazed face,light coming through the colored windows to make different coloured patches across Joy. Her long green hair glistening,as the ligth bounced off. It almost seemed like Joy had wings
Joy looked at her hands,and tocuhed her face.Accediatnly cutting herself across the check,a blood tear rolled down her check. "Because this was what Joy created to do...even if Joy dosen't,she has to dance along this path. Chains stopping her if she trys to stray from the set course..Joy and Kuri-chan destinys are binded together,the reason?To kill one another.Fate can not be changed,neither of us have the key to unlock these chains."

Joy stood frozen in the center of what used to be her home.Her eyes turned to a bright lime green,to a dull brown which sparkeled with unshed tears.She closed her eyes and her face took one of pain.A small scence played in her head,actually it was a memory that she had forgotten intill now.
She opened her eyes for them to fall on Momo,her eyes the same dull brown,the wires had stoped sparking long ago.She knelt down onto her knees and held Momo in her palm of her hands.'Im so sorry Momo..."A single tear ran down Joys face."Joy made Momo,gave Momo life..a-a-nd Joy was the one ....t-to take it.."

Kurai couldn't believe what he was seeing while he laid there on the cold marble floor of the Church. There in front of him was Joy ready to rip Kurai up into shreds, I never should of attacked her.. what chance do i have against a daughter of the demon lord... Kurai squinted his eyes shut in fear. And i made a promise to protect Seyla... but what chance did i have.. if i can't even protect myself... Kurai could feel anger in his own body. Why make promises if i can't keep them...
"Seyla.. don't do anything stupid.." Kurai chuckled as she saw her stand up. "please.. just get out of here..." Kurai said angrily. The sight of her blue flame forming made Kurai uneasy and images of the time from the halloween dance flooded back into his mind. "SEYLA." Kurai said sternly. "Listen to me just ONCE!"
Kurai then tried to push himself off the ground, but the pain of the needles on his chest restricted any small movement. It was as if they were carfully placed. So this is how its going to end huh... Kurai said with a smirk. Joy's going to kill me.. and then Seyla won't be able to defend herself.. even with that flame... Kurai groaned and then tried to reach for his necklace. Come on... this SUCKS.. Kurai.. you can get up! Kurai then gripped onto his necklace and held it tightly.
Mother Aili.. why...I did everything right didn't i? Why did the tainted ones win then... Kurai thought angirly. Suddenly a warm light was placed on his chest. Kurai's eyes widened and then could feel a powerful heavenly presence. Kurai blinked but couldn't make out the person. Whoever it was she was using a powerful healing spell that Kurai never felt before to revive his strength. Kurai's eyes slowly went shut as the warm feeling overcame his body and seemingly took control of it. Slowly Kurai's body rose up by its self and then the needles fell to the ground each with a clink. Some shattering as they hit the floor.
"... the heck.." Kurai thought.He then could see another figure in front of him with a strange robotic arm. "Mint...?" Kurai then looked closely and saw some familiar clothing and eyes.
"No.. REne?!" Kurai's eyes shot open wider and saw her through a powerful slice twoards him Kurai quickly brought his arms up defensivly but nothing struck him Kurai opened his eyes again and saw a barrier in front of Rene. Kurai then looked back at the unfamilair lady which just healed him. "Who. are you..." Kurai said with lots of confusion. "and.... why Rene.." Kurai couldn't believe what was happening before him. Some kind of Angel just descended to protect him, the daughter of the demon lord before him ready to kill The one he sworn to protect and now Something that looks like both of his sister is in front of him trying to kill him too. Kurai in fear quickly created a new blade this time by swinging his left arm across his body and a line of flame bended into the form of a curved Flame blade. Kurai quickly gripped onto it with both hands and channeled his revived energy into it. He then stood there looking at everyone in fear.
"Seyla... Just..." Kurai couldn't finish he was afriad anything he would say would cause her to unleash another chaotic flame loose inside the church.

Mint dropped down the hole that Rene created and quickly rushed up to Rene throwing both her human arm and her robotic arm around her body from behind. She then shut her eyes tightly and kept a tight grip onto her.
"DOn't Fight Nii-san Rene!!" Mint cried out in fear. "I dun't know what your doing But its not RIGHT!" She cried and refused to let go of her. "stop it! It hurts him!"

Finally words broke the silence in which Joy spoke.
"Because this was what Joy created to do...even if Joy dosen't,she has to dance along this path. "Fate..." Kurai said with a smirk. "Imagine.. a tainted one saying the words of Fate..." Kurai then chuckled. "Joy.. You stupid disguisting creature.. You tainted ones bend Fate all the time..." he then pulled his flame blade onto his shoulder and rested it their easily. "Why do you think its our destiny to fight anyways Joy? Obviously the Lord or the Demon Lord kept you alive for some reason..." Kurai then looked away from Joy and up twoards what was now the bloody wooden cross behind him.
"Now Joy.. You already proved that your stronger then me.." Kurai then pointed one finger straight at her. "Why crazy idea makes it think we are binded together Joy? I am just a high priest human, your are a high ranking spawn of the demon lord herself. what makes you think i would be worthy even to fight you.." Kurai then turned to her with a grin. "I made that mistake.. to try to fight you... I just wanted to protect you.. like i said..." Kurai then shook his head.
"thinking it was wrong for you to live.. who would of even thought you were the demon lords daughter Joy..." Kurai chuckled and then placed one hand over his eyes, He then let out a brutal hearty laugh. "Of course you would break the laws of life.. YOu defy the Lord..." Kurai said with a disguiting tone of voice. "but if you just want to be the Demon lords daughter that you are... and kill every high priest." Kurai then leaned forward still with the flame blade on his shoulder.
"Do it....." Kurai said with a smirk. He then looked over at Seyla.
"I just ask that you leave the Gurl alone though Joy... She has done nothing to try to attack you.. I am the one at fault... She isn't a high priestess or anything..." Kurai looked at Seyla's hand which had a powerful blue flame in it. The marbel itself turned a tintish blue colour as energy from anything possible seemed to gather into her glove.
Kurai then placed one hand over his face. He didn't know why but it was comforting to him He then looked over at Joy tauntingly. "After all.. A gurl like her.. is just another piece of scrap for a demon lord's daughter isn't she..." Kurai's voice seemed to have a hint of tauntingness in it and anger.
This feeling.. these words... they don't belong to me... but they feel so refreashing.. taunting her.. its as if i get joy from it..

Aldora watched silently from the shadows, unnoticed since shadows aren't alive. She really wanted to step out and tell them that the fight was pointless and that her onee-sama would have pointed out what was wrong. Then again, Aldora had no clue why Kurai wasn't welcoming Joy.
'Maybe he doesn't like happy people? Nah... Onee-sama would say look at both sides, considered ALL the options. Oh... maybe something happened in the past that I missed.'
Aldora remained as a shadow, using all of her self control to not yell at them to stop. She couldn't give up her location and it might just as well add to the fray, especially since she had no clue about what was going on. She had only wanted to playfully tease Kurai and Mint, but she had arrived at what was obviously a bad time to tease anyone.
'I wonder if should tell Onee-sama. Nah, that's just gossiping. Maybe I should go visit Ishoa!'
With that thought, Aldora left the scene. Nothing happened when she appeared and nothing happened when she disappeared. Not even the shadow underneath the bed rippled.

The slices of stone where defelected. The girl was about to launch over the barrier when little Mint latched her arms around the crazed creature. One of the floating wires on her arm turned its eye toward the identical robotic arm.
Its like mine. Maybe I was a proto-type. Maybe it was for mass distrabution. Poor thing. Ha, but that's not what I'm here for. Maybe I should save her.
As Kurai laughed and taunted Joy, he ignored the threat that was pausing in the now desterted chapel.
"Baka. You aren't aware of your surroundings."
Her voice was odd. It was as if there were two voices speaking at once. The girl's body altered. The color of her clothing, hair, eyes, and all faded and darkened to baige and grainy blacks. Then the body fell apart into thousands of grains of sand. They fell past little Mint's gripping hug and onto the floor and the seat of the bench. And in the next blink of an eye they were gone.
"Both Joy and Ni-sama are bad. Don't pretend to be INNOCENT!!" The strange Rene was balancing herself on the tip of the damaged cross.
