((lol makes me feel a bit sorry for him too biggrin ))
Following Tatsu was a most entertaining experience for Korsu. She was one of the oddest people he's run into and she seemed to relish in the fact of scarying the Muirmorese people. He chuckled to himself when she scared one womone off just from laughing outloud and then challenging her. After walking and turning some corners, he realized that Tatsu must be following the smell of meat that was floating in the air.
As Korsu slowly closed the distance between him and Tatsu, he noticed when she took off her goggles and it gave her a racdoon look. He stifled a laugh as he then closed the rest of the distance between them and then greeted her. "Hello, You don't look like your around here," he started off, "Do you happen to be an adventurer?"

Still looking ahead, Tatsu began speaking, "Hell yes I'm an adventurer, and I'm damn proud not to be from around here!" She said loudly, her chest thrust forward and her shoulders back, giving her already confident tone of voice a boost. She turned her head to see who she was talking to, and her eyes immediately bugged open in shock, "HOLY MOTHER OF CHAOS! WHAT IN KADOWEI ARE YOU?!" She yelled loudly as she pointed at him, blatently and opening staring, and then she began to laugh, like someone far too amused. "Haaaa!" She mumbled nonsensically, and then she giggled. "Oh my, you're special, aren't you?" She asked, her mind going straight from freaked out mode to interested mode. She had never seen a speicies like this before, and she was already moving around him, staring at him openly.

After two years Kaledan was no closer to finding the pirates that had killed his father than he had been captaining the Eriadith. Though he had made much quicker progress with Malcholar as a companion. Kaledan didn't like much about the man. He did however know that he disliked much about him. The man's manners, his lack of all emotion except the one that triggers his sarcasm, and the fact that he uses every opportunity to get on Kaledan's nerves.
However, Malcholar was knowledgeable, in history, combat, and survival in general. At the same time he carried an air of mystery. Kaledan had never asked about the brand on Malcholar's hand, partly because it would be rude, and partly because he didn't know if he would receive an answer. At the best of times their partnership was that of a grudging agreement. Most of the time it was arguing.
Their most recent encounter had left Kaledan simmering with anger. They had two objectives, and Kaledan's had been completely ignored. Even if there was a minuscule chance of the bandits having any sort of information on them, it was still a chance.
"Next time, we leave one alive."
"Whatever you say chief."
"I'm serious"
"Yes, I'd noticed, now turn your head, there's a woman approaching us. You of all people wouldn't want to be rude."
And with that, Rhia arrived in front of them and began her shaky introduction. The request was odd, but not unheard of. Plus, it was not one that Kaledan's gentlemanly attitude could refuse.
"Well, miss Rhia, we would be glad to help out however we could, though..."
"Though, by 'we' he means he would be glad to help. I on the other hand are much less willing without thinking on it."
This drew a sigh of frustration from Kaledan, but he waited for a few second while Malcholar put on a display of exaggerated thinking. With his eyes rolled up, one eyebrow raised, and his mouth twisted into a frown. It wasn't comical, but irritating to Kaledan.
"Where do you need to go? I know the way to, and can escort you to anywhere but Ouramiya, by the off chance that you know what this means you'll know why."
When the final words left his mouth Malcholar lifted up his right hand and showed her the brand Dai'n.

Korsu winced as Tatsu yelled, although his ears were covered, they still were very sensitive to loud noises. After her initial burst of surprise and shock she seemed to get over it relatively fast and then was curious. He gave a wry smile and said, "When I was young I was told I was a part of an ancient race of beings called the Maolna." He watched her as she circled him, examining him. With a cough he then said, "I noticed that you were following the scent of food. If you'd like, I could treat you to a meal."

Utterly fascinated and completely without shame, Tatsu reached out at took Korsu's arm, tugging on it gently so she could get a better look at the membrane. "This is absolutely amazing, I've never seen such a thing before in all my life..." She murmured to herself as she poked him, her eyes widened so they were little slightly rounded almonds in her face. "You, my friend, are quite the curious creature. Think I could take pictures later? No one will believe you exist unless I have visual evidence... and measurements..." She frowned and hummed to herself as she circled him, reaching up to pull gently at one of Korsu's ears. "I might need to get your anatomical structure down. May I see you naked?" She asked before she realized exactly how that sounded, and then she was blushing and stepping away from him, laughing nervously. "That didn't come out how I wanted it to..." She explained.
Distracted now from his looks, Tatsu finally focused on his words. "Maolna? Never heard of them before..." She mumbled to herself, and then she tilted her head to the side and frowned up at him. "If you'll still treat me after the way I treated you just now, sure then, I'll take you up on the offer." She said, though she was still a bit ashamed of how she had been acting; overall though, she was still curious and more than a bit amused by the stranger.

Korsu was slightly alarmed from the sudden barage of curosity. He didn't resist as she poked and proded him. Once she finally stepped back he let out a laugh as he straightened and tightened the cloth on his head, securing it. "Alright, I'll let you do anything you want, but I'm keeping my clothes on." He said with a grin, teasing her a little. Then he said, "Don't worry. My offer is still out there. It would take a lot more than a little poking and prodding to make me back down on an offer I made." He smiled again and said, "You choose the place and I'll answer any questions you may have."

Surprised, Tatsu stared up at Korsu. 'Is this guy honestly unphased by me?' She asked herself, but she quickly covered up her surprise and flashed him a bright grin. "Alright, bub, but you said it, not me. I get to do anything I want so long as your clothes stay on," She agreed, but the evil cackle afterwards was not the least bit comforting. "How 'bout we follow that smell, my new found friend, it's the only thing here in Muirmor that's caught my attention." She suggested as she folded her arms behind her back and grinned childishly up at him. 'Oh, I have questions, lots of them... and some ideas...' She thought to herself, and her grin turned somewhat evil as she chuckled to herself.
Turning, Tatsu began to lead the way, her nose pulling her along. "You can call me Tatsu. What do they call you?" She asked, the start of a list of questions she was formulating. He was going in her journal of interesting finds, right along with that moving crystal she'd see once and some of the copies of ruin pictures she had.

At the evil cackle Tatsu gave, Korsu felt something similar to a shiver of fear. Why do i get the feeling that this will take awhile? He thought to himself staring at her, She is one devious girl. Then following her lead, he fell into step next to her and when she introduced herself, he then said, "Well met Tatsu. I am called Korsu." As the walked towards the scent of food, he inhaled and tried to figure out what the delicious smell was. While he was trying to figure it out, he looked over to Tatsu and said, "Well you look like you're already bursting with questions. Might as well start asking them now while we're walking."

Tatsu looked up at Korsu and smiled, looking completely calm for one moment, and then her mouth opened and everything came out in one long rush of words, "Whatareyou?Whereareyoufrom? What'syourculturelike?Doeseveryonelooklikeyou?Doyouhavemagic? What'syourelement?Youlooklikeabat, areyouafruitbat?Doyoueatonlyfruit?Areyouavampirebat?Doyoudrinkblood?Canyouflywiththosewings?" When she ran out of breath she stopped speaking and instead smiled up at him eagerly, waiting for his answer.

Korsu blinked spastically for a few moments as he puzzled out which question was which. "Uhm. Wow. Lots of questions." He said, "Alright lets start with what I am. I am a bat maolna from the land of Khonsalach. There different types of Maolna, some including wolves and different species of bird." He paused so he could think some and figure out more questions. "Our culture? Well we are all closely attuned to nature and make our homes in the trees or stone. Each Maolna has the attributes of the animal it is attuned to. For us bat's, we all have the ears, fangs, talons, and the wings." He paused and lifted up his arm to give a clearer view of it, before dropping it again and continuing. "Which leads us to another of your questions, Whether we can fly with our wings, the answer is yes. As for magic, The maolna as a whole has very little magic, so me personally? I don't use magic and my element is Wind." Then at the bat type questions he chuckled a little before he answered, "To the type of bat, even I'm not completely sure. Though no, I don't eat only fruit, and I don't drink blood."

Tatsu listened patiently, her expression growing more and more curious. "So your species is broken up into different sub-species?" She asked him, and then she poked him again, frowning throughtfully. "I've never heard of Khonsalach? Is that from another contininet? I thought Talard only had Ouryamiya, Rathbhin, Muirmor, and Hikamitsu..." She hummed thoughtfully and considered him curiously. "How exactly is it that you fly? You don't seem like you should be able to... Do you have hollow bones? Now I'm even more curious about your anatomical structure!" She gasped in exasperation, the answers only brought her more questions. Pouting, Tatsu crossed her arms and huffed. "Though I guess we do have something in common... I'm a Hikamitsuian, and we're also close to nature..." She sighed, just to have something to say; he was entirely too different from her, it was a bit odd...
Presently her nose led her to a fairly nice looking restaurant, but from the smell of things the food would be more than worth it... Still... would they even let her in with the way should looked? And how much would it cost? There was no way she would let Korsu pay if it was costly, and then there was the question on weither or not he even had the local currancy on him! For a brief second she felt a tinge ashamed of how she looked, and then she threw her head and shoulders back and slapped a confident look on her face. 'If they don't let me in, I'll burn the place down!'

((Anything interesting happen?))
After a bit, Karo went back outside and began to walk around the village, seeing Yuna and Auso sitting on top of the inn, talking among themselves. He continued walking, knowing Iio was walking alongside his feet. He smiled down at the tiny, winged dog, making it bark and fly up to the young man's back and cling on to the cloak's fabric. Karo had decided to take a walk outside of the village without telling the others. He stepped into the forest, completely unafraid of coming across some crisis wolves or anything else corrupted by the crystals. He looked back and to someone who wasn't very perceptive, he disappeared completely. His speed reached such heights, and he wanted to get away from the pack. He may seem like a coward to them, but he had his reasons. The pain in his side began to get worse and worse. He hadn't been paying attention to how long he traveled, feeling slightly dizzy from loss of blood. He eventually reached a city and collapsed outside. He tried to stand back up, but fell back to the floor, letting the darkness take him away. Iio whimpered and licked the young man's face, trying his best to wake his master. When it came to no avail, he howled, turning some heads in the process.

Rhia sighed with relief when Malcholar finally agreed to help her, and a sincere smile lit her face. When he held up his hand the smile remained but a sharp, observant look came into her slanted eyes.
She nodded. Studying languages had been a big part of her time in Hikamitsu, and she recognized the symbol, and after a few moments, its meaning. Still, out of courtesy, she didn't comment on its meaning.
"I have no reason to go Ouramiya, so you have nothing to worry about there. No, mostly I was looking to go to Rathbhin," she told the pair of them. "I need to pack up a few things, but we can leave as soon as you're ready."
She was careful to direct the conversation to both of them, though her curiosity at Malcholar's exile was getting the better of her. Still, Rhia knew now was certainly not the time or place for that conversation.
"I'm sorry, I never quite caught your names," she added, grinning again at both of them.

((Not really, Some of the characters are just getting together and talking))
Korsu allowed her to trail off before he said, "Khonsalach is on the other side of the mountains bordering Ouramiya. Probably why no one knows where our country is." Then he continued on and asked, "What is it that you would need of me to learn of my anatomical structure. I don't think my species has every been questioned like this before." He grinned at her, then after a small time walking they arrived at the restaurant. "Hmm. You look like you're thinking of something devious again." he said as he saw her throw her head and shoulders back and dawn a confident look.

For a moment Enya panicked, horrified by the sound leaving Fenrir's throat, and then suddenly she just... snapped. One moment she was clawing her way through a Crisis Wolf to get to Fenrir, the next moment she had unleashed a wave of water that litterally swept the Crisis Wolves away. Freed, Fenrir sat up and hissed with pain at his wound, but he went to immediately get back into the fight... only to find the Wolves were no longer around. "What happened?" He asked as he looked around, not knowing where the enemies went. Panting slightly, Enya pushed her hair from her eyes, revealing both of them for a moment before her hair fell back down. "I... drowned them..." She explained quietly.
Fenrir frowned at her and stood, holding his arm, "Well, I suppose that works..." He sighed as he glared at the wound. Calmly Enya moved to him and pryed his hand from the bite mark, and then she placed her own over it and frowned thoughtfully at the wound as her hand glowed blue; when she pulled her hand away it was gone. "Water is a good element to have." Fenrir observed, and then as one he and the other Maolna turned their heads and frowned. "That was a howl of distress." The older soldier observed, and as Fenrir nodded Enya ran off ahead, calling over her shoulder, "Well, let's go help, then!"
**********************************
Tatsu glanced over at Korsu and shook her head. "Just thinking about how horriable I look..." She explained with a slight smirk. "Anyway, I'd probably need to get you down to clothes that showed more skin so I could better examine if you're built like everyone else... but, uh... I'm not really a doctor, so..." She shrugged her shoulders and adopted a determined look as she stared down the person in charge of seating people.
