Rhian looked at Ellandra for a moment before lifting from her perch and fluttering over to Faolan, curling around his forearm instead. "You could see when farther apart, yes? Your eyes are not bad?" The butterfly proto dipped her head, her antennae brushing against Faolan's cheeks. "You are. . . Owner's family, yes? Strong for her?"
Ellandra watched from where she remained, sitting on the floor. "Oh, don't call me "Owner," little one. . . I'm Ellandra." She ddn't say more, her mind still sorting out the memories that had swarmed over hear just a short time ago.
The proto turned, brushing Faolan with a wing in the process, and nodded. "Ellandra. You are Owner Ellandra. Ell-ahn-dra. Positive." Then she turned back to Faolan, offering him a transluscent hand.

Faolan laughed, completely amused by the new addition to their family. "Nae, wean, I see right enough. I just wanted you closer to have a better look at you. Pretty little thing, just like Ellandra." He moved a bit, brushing his hand along Zia's bare back to wake the Alter. "Zia, you want to meet your little sister?"
"Did Ellandra have her bairn already?" Zia asked around its thumb, looking up at Faolan and the . . . oh, the proto was finally here. It sat up, rainbow eyes wide, and dropped its hand to the bed. "Hi."

Rhian dipped her head in greeting, lifting off of Faolan's arm and fluttering in front of Ziazan, not finding another place to perch comfortably just yet. "Sibling. Hello. I am Rhian. I mentor. I help. Your purpose?" The little butterfly's voice exhibited no true emotion, rather a sense of calmness and serenity. there was, perhaps, a trace of curiosity in it, however, as she inspected her elder sibling.
Ellandra watched, the joy in her eyes barely shining past the shadows lurking there from what had happened earlier.

Zia held out a hand so the little proto could wrap about its arm. "My purpose is object reading. A clairvoyant. Are you going to help Ellandra?"
Faolan looked at Ellandra and motioned for her to come over and sit with them on the bed.

The little proto gracefully curled around her sibling's arm, tilting her head so that she could brush Ziazan's face with her antennae in a greeting gesture. "I help. I help Ellandra. Mentor. Be calm, no more fear; fear is negative." She fluttered her wings a little, creating a breeze again. "Support; guide - help. My purpose."
Ellandra, her eyes on the two Essentics, slowly got to her feet and moved over to the bed, not even hesitating before climbing onto Faolan's lap and hugging him tightly, soft shudders still ripping through her frame. "I remember now, Faolan," she whispered quietly. "And - and I wish I didn't."

Faolan cuddled his wife, kissing at her hair. "It only hurts for so long. You'll be better for having known. Now you can start getting some answers to your questions." He made a soft rumbling noise in his chest, hugging Ellandra to him protectively.
Zia shook it hand a bit, giving the small one a hint to let go, then crawled over to Faolan and Ellandra, wriggling its way into the middle of their cuddling. Yawning, the Alter curled up, thumb going back in its mouth, and settled down, secure between its "parents."

Rhian let go of Ziazan, fluttering up a bit, and searched the room for another perch without any luck. "No place to land. Suggestions?"
Ellandra shuddered, snuggling up to Faolan. "I - I shouldn't have - have asked, I - wh-what Ziazan saw..... no-one should see that..... no-one...." She glanced up at Rhian and reached out an arm, gladly letting her little proto perch there. It wasn't like the butterfly weighed much. "We'll get something set up for you, Rhian," she said quietly, before kissing the top of Ziazan's head and whisperinig "I'm so sorry, little one..."

Faolan patted the butterfly Essentic and looked down at Ellandra and Zia. "Lass, I don't think it's awake anymore. Don't worry about its reading on your hat. Its seen worse." He remembered the run in with the rogue Essentic.
True to Fao's word, Ziazan was sleeping peacefully between its "parents," seeming to have gotten over the visions it had gotten off the hat. Breathing soft little kid snores, it sucked its thumb, its other hand clutching at Ellandra's nightdress.

Ellandra smiled a little at Ziazan, and looked over Rhian for a minute - what a lovely creature this little one was - and then sighed. "Your reading was... was right, Faolan...... I remember it now........... my mother was murdered..... and - and my father made me forget....." She trailed off, not wanting to say the rest of the horrid truth.
Rhian gently lifted from her perch and brushed Ellandra with her antenna. "Be calm; it's not now, you're safe." The little proto didn't really have personality yet, but was nevertheless a social spark after all, and somewhat more emotionally attuned than she might have been. She was to help EllAHNdra Owner-not-Owner and that was what she would do, starting with keeping her calm.

Faolan was quiet, keeping his arms wrapped protectively around his small albeit odd family. "I'm sorry, Elle." He didn't know what else to say.

Ellandra simply nodded and snuggled up to Faolan. "I'll. . . I'll be all right, Faolan, but. . ." she trailed off, and her tone darkened. "I don't - I don't think I can ever forgive my father. Ever."
Rhian hummed comfortingly, a lyrical little sound of only a few notes, but made soothing by the qualities of her voice. "Calm, calm; stress is unhealthy, not good for you EllAHNdra Owner-not-called-Owner."

"No one says you have to," Faolan said, kissing her hair. He looked at Rhian. "Oi, wean. Did your mommy tell you why she has to keep herself calm now?"

"No. Stress is not good. I know this. Is there excess reason to avoid stress? Tell me; I need to help." The butterfly hummed again, her need to know information that would let her better serve her purpose in helping making her flutter her wings rapidly in a sort of excitement.
Ellandra watched her little proto, a smile growing on her face. Yes, this little one would do quite well here.

The young man smiled, warming up to the new little proto. "Ellandra's going to have a baby. Do you understand what that means?" He looked at Ellandra, clearly besotted with the woman.

"Baby? No. EllAHNdra Owner-not-called Owner wished for help .... to be good wife, mother - these terms relate to "Baby" in some way?" The butterfly proto asked, humming a little and fluttering her wings softly. Her unblinking eyes stared at Faolan, and she wrapped her tail-segment around the half-demon's arm, resting there as she peered up at him expectantly.
Ellandra watched Rhian and Faolan interact, but had to bite back a yawn. She was so tired. . . maybe. . . . maybe now she could sleep? Now that she knew what the nightmares were, at least...?
