ringwraith10 JewelintheLotus Oh gosh I have no idea what to do! I'm in college but my acting major fell through and now I have no idea what to do. Well, it didn't fall through I just don't know that I'm good enough. I'm working at Bath and Body Works in the mall where I live, but I'm not sure if I can get a job where I go to school because I can't afford a car. I like the job alright, but my manager went on maternity leave and everything's gone all to heck. Hopefully, I can get everything together soon. sweatdrop Aww... things are usually prety hectic when you're trying to balance work and school anyway. Especially when you can't drive. (Hey, don't worry, I don't have a car either and I live in the middle of nowhere!). Thanks! I actually got a new job just the other day. My hours got cut back to about three a week and no one else would hire me because I go to school in a different town. I got bored of sitting on my butt and went to my old job at the local theatre to help out. Next thing I know my old boss is offering me a job, and I can't say no. Now I might just be able to get a car and then who knows? Thanks for the encouragement. It helps a lot.

I'm going back to college after a year long break, where i did a bit of this and that (working for a while, teaching myself to do stuff like make music videos and other things). I'm going to catch up my last classes i need to graduate. But the system is different here in canada(well, in quebec, to be more precise) and we have to do 2 years of college before university. After i finish college, i want to double major in english and drama, so i can be an english/drama highschool teacher, but i'm not sure that i can now, because i took 'social sciences' in college and i think (i'm not sure) that i needed to take a different course to be elligible to go into english in uni. Bah. I have to check. Originally i wanted to be an actor/singer, and write on the side, but i was convinced that it wasn't a practical job that brought in money. I really regret not going in a theatre program instead, but i might backtrack later and do it once i have my bachlors(etc) and actually start working as a teacher. also, i wanted to try being an archeologist(which i was going to do, untill i saw what tuition to the only school that had the type of archeology i wanted, was. plus there was living costs,etc,etc,etc...and i realised archeology isn't exactly in demand. So i had to settle on teaching, my third choice.
When i go to school this january, i'm going to work part time, most likely in my college cafeteria. I'm also looking into getting my poems and stories published. heart
