Keeping control of Mr. X's arm, Ryuu look to give it a sharp TUG, stomping for leverage to try and loosen up the man's shoulder joint and arm!

Mr. X was nearly brought down to his needs by the sharp tug and would attempt to retaliate with a few vicious backward elbows.

If the elbows from Mr. X were not enough, Marxx would simply go for a kick to the ribs of Ryuu to force him to break the hold.

X was elbowing backward, but Ryuu didn't release the hold until Marxx came over with a kick to the midsection. Doubling over, he backed up a few steps ..

Marxx looked over at the crowd, which had a very mixed reaction on that move from him. He turned back, looking to continue the offensive on Ryuu. Since he was turning back at him, it was the perfect time to attempt a move he was trying to use more often: The Canadian Leg Sweep.
((Basically a Half Nelson, then goes to the side the arm isn't hooked and falls with him.))

Ryuu got planted by the Canadian Leg Sweep! Falling backward onto the canvas, he grabbed onto the back of his head with a wince and rolled aside.

Marxx went in a sitting position shortly after, and then tried to cover Ryuu.

Mr. X would then attempt to drag Marxx right off Ryuu's body by his ankle and lock in an ankle lock.

Marxx was dragged off Ryuu by Mr. X, who put him in a Ankle Lock shortly after. The only way he could find to fight back was trying to get himself closer from Ryuu again. If he could put his hands on him, maybe that would count as a pinfall attempt anyway, despite the submission he was in.

Mr. X didn't understand why Marxx was trying to pull away. He released the lock, but didn't let go of his opponent's ankle. He then would send kicks to the thigh of Marxx

Ryuu stirred and pushed Marxx's hands away .. blinking a few times.

Marxx completely missed on that one. He was still in the ankle lock, AND couldn't see if his idea would work. Anyway, now he really had to get out of that submission. Until then, well, all he could do was enduring the pain.

Watching as Marxx was stuck in the Anklelock .. Ryuu had an idea. Scrambling back over to Marxx's side, Ryuu grabbed onto his left arm, attempting to cinch in the Fujiwara Armbar while he was stuck in the lock!
( After Tuesday, I may be gone for about a week. We'll see. )

Mr. X watched Ryuu go for the armbar submission and then he got an idea. Since Ryuu was going for that, Mr. X attempted to move in closer to Marxx and try a Step-Over Toehold Sleeper!
