Alarico was wrong about two things, one was about his zanpakuto, it in fact was not a light zanpakuto, it was a zanpakuto that power was centered around constellations, and tow Torsin was not trying to purify him, instead he was trying to find Alarico's good heart which seemed to be buried deep within his soul. Also Alarico was wrong about one more thing, by this time most of the shinigami would be in the seireitei fighting against the hollows so there would be a very slim chance of another shinigami coming to fight him.
Seeing Alarico roll backwards form the attack, meant either two things one he was scared that Torsin could cut through his heirro, or two he was just wanting to mess with Torisn.At the moment Torsin didn't know which one was the correct reason, so he had to be opened that both were correct.
Jumping after Alarico Torsin gathered some of his reiatsu into his blade. When he neared Alarico Torsin went into a wild, yet cordianted combo of slashes that Torisn had used to cut through the 5th espada's heirro.

[edited again] The Raven flash steps into the south tower to see that he was right. His friend was here but a couple of hollows, this was an out rage! This really now made Meluk mad.
Meluk walks up to the Espada(Alarice) with calm and care free attitude. He draws his sword and points at Torison.
"Do you see that young man? That is my dearest friend Torison. I hope you didn't try to hurt him," Meluk said calmly. His sword changes into a gun.
"Let these word ponder in your head Espada," Meluk said looking at him with hate, "Don't expect to kill people with out dying yourself. That is the fact of the life, the circle of life. You must kill to create as new,"
Meluk aimed his gun at Alarico. "I guess it’s your time to serve the time of life to create a new," Meluk pulled the trigger aiming at between Alarico's eyes.

Alarico knew he was in a bad position. The appearance of a (vizard?) had changed everything. Things could become dirty soon...perhaps soon it would be time to draw his zanpakutosprang. Bunching up his muscles in his legs he sprang off the pillar, leaning backwards slightly as he did. He spun himself in mid air in such a fashion that it allowed him to avoid the slashes. Torsin thought of himself as an unpredictable fighter, but this was an espada who specialised acrobatics. One who fought with the ferociousness of a tiger. He snarled as he twisted his body to the fight to narrowly avoid a slash to his shoulder, and moving like lightning he dropped to the level of Torsin's knee to avoid another slash to his torso. The sword nicked him once on the left arm, but he did not even seem to notice.
He suddenly cut off his reiatsu to his feet so that he dropped like a stone towards the ground. This of course allowed him to avoid the attack which would be aimed at his head, whether it be a blast or a bullet. His form, taken over by gravity, dropped like deadweight towards the ground, and the tremor from it would destroy the pillar...

The young Raven had felt a little excited. He raises his right hand to Torsin. In the blink of an eye a shield appeared in front of Torsin, shielding him from the young Espada attack. He wasn’t going to let Torsin die in fact he wanted to get him out.
"I think I made it clear that I don't want you around my friend?" Meluk said, "If you really are an Espada then show me. I want to see your full power,"
He did know what he said might sound a lot foolish back he longs to see the true power of a real Espada then a weak one before. Meluk felt disappointed that he was actually an Espada. Meluk takes one step and flash steps behind Alarico.
He changes his gun back into a sword and swings it at Alarico's right hip in a angle. A roman number blinked on Meluk’s left cheek.

 ______-<<<<< AlaricoAlarico - Octava EspadaMeluk would find that his sword went straight through Alarico. It was as if he was only a mirage...a trick of mind. The sword would cleave through him easily as if Alarico was a ghost...
Just when Meluk finishes the swing, he would feel claws digging into his shoulder, and feet on his back. He would feel sharp fangs grazing the back of his neck, biting down without letting him think about what was happening. (I didn't say it hit yet)
What happened? The moment Alarico started falling, he had started gathering reiatsu into his feet. He knew that one of his opponents would try to attack him while he was in a vulnerable position when falling, so he prepared his counter-attack. The reiatsu had been released all at once, producing a sonido so fast that it left an after-image of him which Meluk aimed for. He himself had used sonido to appear not behind Meluk, but on him. He had used his claws to latch on to his shoulders, and his jaws were open to bite down on the back of the Raven's neck for a killer blow. His fangs were sharpened and as strong as any zanpakuto, and his claws were about to penetrate the boy's skin. Like a tiger going for a kill...when he latches on to the back of his prey. "Do you know the true meaning of fear?"

((Go ahead, I'll keep them busy. Actually I already knocked out a good few chunks of it, and there's a giant crack down the middle of it. So the pillar's split in half vertically right now xD))

[I think I'll give the quincy until noon tomorrow to post. Then if I haven't received a post by then I'll simply push the quincy aside and attack the already battered pillar.]

Temor was right. How could he risk his own existence for those who wouldn't even remember him? The shinigami would never recognize his or Yumi's efforts in protecting this god forsaken pillar! Why should he be risking his life to protect something that will only benefit the Soul Society? But... this was his home... even if these pillars were to just serve the Shinigami as distraction in order for them to regain their territory, these pillars were all that stood between the Aizen and the town in which he grew up in. He would stand and fight.
As soon as the Espada made contact with the what he thought were the reishi particles of his arrow, he would realize that all that he was coming into contact with were lingering particles which belonged to the previously located arrow. Leaving a small trace of reishi particles, the Quincy had used the technique known as "Hirenkyaku", which was the equivalent to a Shinigami's "flash step" or and Arrancar's "sonido", to travel about ten feet behind Temor.
With his bow still raised and his arrow still formed, Vergil would release a rapid barrage of reishi built arrows from his particle bow aimed at different spots of Temor's body. While some of the arrows were aimed for parts such as the spine, the head, and his legs, other arrows were aimed ahead of the Espada so that if he tried to run forward and towards the tower, he would get hit or have to dodge the incoming arrows. In turn, this would give Vergil the neccesary time to aim at his target once more and continue his barrage of arrows.

After watching the battles for quite some time, Jubei finally felt it was time for him to do something. Besides, he figured Tagg would hold it against him if the pillar was lost and he did nothing to stop it. So, with an attitude of pure laziness, Jubei makes his way down to the base of the pillar. With his spiritual levels, well hidden to a point of nothing, it was highly doubtful that he'd be noticed. In fact, he was somewhat surprised that no one had yet to notice the former shinigami prisoner. Leaning his back against the wall, as to not expose his back to potential foes, the lone shinigami places his hands against the pillar and whispers, "Kingusari-Shouheki (golden chain-barrier)....." His golden chains and shackles take upon a life of their own and began to extend outward. As their lengths continuously grew, they started to weave and wrap around the pillar. Soon the pillar was enveloped by a powerful barrier of golden chain links, which pulsated with a dark demonic aura.
Though, the barrier only covered the lower half of the pillar. It was quickly making it's way upward towards the top. The crack that once ran down the pillar, also pulsed with the barrier's aura and appeared to be mending itself slowly. Jubei's barrier was one of his few variations of Kidou and therefore was extremely powerful to make up for the fact that he held none. However, this added protection was not a sure fire fix. It was used only to buy more time and left the former prisoner exposed if he were to be found. The barrier eventually covers two-thirds of the pillar and still it continues to grow. Any form of attack upon the barrier would be negated, but 1/4 of the attack damage would fall upon Jubei...only if it were the equivalent of any Hadou above 75 or a Gran Rey Cero.

I love it how it's like ALL the shinigami, vizards, quincy and bounto versus...what, 6 active arrancar? It's like the whole guild against us...Wow.)) "Do you know the true meaning of fear?"

Foolish... The thought ran through Temor's mind as a grin crept across the espada's face. At first Temor would just let the arrows run their course and collide with his back while the rest of the arrows that were shot ahead would finish the already weakened pillar. It would put the quincy's to blame for the pillar's destruction and creating even more hate between the two. But there was a problem now as Temor's remarkable eyes spotted a shinigami creating a defense around the pillar using some kind of spiritual energy. The espada would solve that problem quickly and effectively.
Vanishing from sight using his sonido Temor reappeared directly in front of the pillar with his right hand being gently placed on the shinigami made barrier. The spirit particles used to make the barrier instantly dis-alligned and the entire barrier collapsed and blew away with the wind. It was reminiscent of what had happen to the East Pillar. The arrows of the quincy did little to nothing to the espada as they collided with his body and instantly burst back into spirit particles. "Don't you get it quincy? Your power is also your greatest weakness when it comes to me." The rest of the arrows shot ahead by the quincy were now racing towards the pillar and to ensure the pillar would collapse Temor's right palm placed on the pillar began to glow with the presence of a cero. Destruction....

((So, I'm guessing the pillar was always meant to fall. Considering, that was a god-mod move taking out my barrier like that. It was like me just touching someone else's zanpakutou and making it fade out of existence with my bare hands.))

[Not a god-mod at all actually. Temor has the ability to dis-allign spirit particles. That is his one and only power. You just played right into it whee ]
