"...45....46....47....48....49....50." Sandpiper paused, dropping his paws and folding his wings back. "Ready or not, here I come!" He stood there for a moment, gazing around and sniffing the air. Hn...not close by anymore. The brown and white male set off in a direction he thought she may have gone.

The miss matched female smiled she didn't even for a moment think that he could track her scent. She smiled thinking she had a perfect hiding spot. And she smiled. It was rather warm in here. She flicked her tail and smiled wondering if maybe they should stay in here snuggling up close.

Minutes passed as Sandpiper wove his way through the woodland near the cave searching for her, occasionally sniffing the air. She was here somewhere and from the scent of things, she was nearby. It was then he spotted the log. Maybe..just maybe.
He made a wide circle around it, so if she was in the log she wouldn't see him. The brown and white male took to the air when we was out of side and landed soundlessly on the long, padding to the end. Sandpiper leaned down and peeked inside. "Boo." He tapped her with his paw. "Your it."

Discard gasped loudly and jumped at the tap. She blushed and smiles at him. "OH my...that was fast!" she wriggled out from the log and smiled, "OH okay my turn." she smiled and covered her eyes with her good paw and leaned against the log. "Alright I here I go" She flicked her ears down to try and block some of the noise. "1...2...3...4...5" she started her thin body at the angel she was leaning on clear display. Her missing leg was hidden so she looked fully complete.

Sandpiper bent and nuzzled her cheek, lingering momentarily before darting off in a different direction. He ended up now too far from the cave, nestled in between some similarly colored rocks, his wings tucked tight against his back. He backed up a little further into the crevice in an attempt to camouflage himself more.
