When the paladin heard the music, Isadora knew it must be the first dance of the married couple. Isadora lightly sighed. It must be nice having a partner to dance with. Isadora thought. When was the last time she had ever dance? It must be the coronation ball of Eliwood that she had attended. To have her feet sweep off the floor, twirling around with a partner to lead the way. To feel that only yourself and your partner were the only one in the room while everyone was nothing but a mere background. Isadora sighed again.

I need to stop reminiscing the past. Isadora thought. If she continued to do so, who knew when will she be able to move on. Not having a partner to dance with, the paladin strolled around the area to find someone to talk to. She spotted Ninian under the tree, hanging in the background of the party. The paladin approached her.

"Nice wedding, isn't it?" Isadora greeted Ninian.

A small thumping noise was heard and on the outskirts, a collosal of a man was seen walking towards them. A large Axe was hefted over his shoulder. He was late, he knew, and he did not know whether you needed to be invited or not, but he decided that late was better then never. He came to the door, uncomfortably dressed in Black pants, slightly too short and a white shirt that barely fit. What was he supposed to do? He could not help his size. He knew that he would not be allowed in with only pants on either. The man knocked on the door lightly, for he did not want to break the door down. That would not suit an entrance to such an occasion. The sound thundered down the hall. He had come to pay his respects to the new couple. He grumbled slightly and set his Axe in front of him, leaning on it slightly and knocked again. it wasn't him to enter such hevents but he thought about it and came because he might as well meet. It was also an uncomfortable occasion. He would have to come out and make himself public at some point. He looked at the flowers he had in his hand. To him they seened rather small and insignificant. But everything to him seemed small. He thought of battle, and the feild to pass the time.

Aaah. The sweet fragrance lingering in the air.
Finn wasn't quite sure if it was the mood, the drinks, or the place, but it sure smelled nice. Holding a glass of champagne, he cheered whenever something worth cheering for happened. He was standing more or less alone at the moment, just enjoying some peace and quiet...

"Finny...~ I'm tired~" the sorry figure of his 'friend' Lance managed to whine as he clung onto Finn's back. Feeling his eye twitch, he spoke calmly at the thief. "Get off me you drunken buffoon! You were scuffling down all the food just a minute ago, how drunk can you get on just a glass of champagne?!"

Maybe not as calmly as he had expected, but still calm enough considering his annoyance. The thief, on the other hand, seemed almost insulted at the words. "Drunk?! How rude! I don't drink alcohol!" he said as he let go of Finn, only to get another stupid look on his face as he dropped down. "I'm just...yaaaaawwwnn...tired..."

"You said you'd take Prince Leaf to eat. Where did he go?" Finn said, as he ignored Lance's demeanour. Lance motioned towards a chair further away, where a sleeping Leaf had pulled out two chairs and now used them as a makeshift bed. Finn sighed then smiled gently. "He's been busy today, no wonder he's so tired. I'll go put Prince Leaf in a real bed and then get back."

As he turned to get Leaf to leave, Lance stopped him in his tracks. "...what?"

"Before you go, just tell me something...I started getting along with this girl pretty well earlier at the ceremony, but ever since it ended she's been avoiding me, and any attempts to communicate is ignored! Do you know what happened?"

Finn sighed. "You mean Miss Blossom? That's the girl you allegedly assaulted at the ceremony, right?"

Lance's face paled. "W-what?! I fell asleep!"

"She wouldn't be able to tell that. That large...lizard, Ganon, I believe, got you off of her, and I think she really didn't enjoy getting you on her."

"ARGH! Just as I was beginning to make a friend here! Finny~! What should I do?!"

"You could begin with acting NORMAL. You'd scare anyone off with your silly anthics without explanation. If you didn't always act like such a weirdo, you wouldn't have such a hard time getting friends!"

Finn turned around to leave again, leaving Lance to his own fate while Finn was gone.

"...I can't help that I am like this, you know..." Lance said as Finn got out of ear's reach, suddenly having a quite normal, melancholic look to his face as he hung with his head. All of Lance's earlier feelings of joy was as if blown away, and he stood there alone, as if deep in thought.

Lost in the music as she was, Ninian didn't see or hear Isadora's approach, causing her to jump slightly when the paladin spoke.

"Nice wedding, isn't it?"

"Oh, yes--yes, it is," she agreed, nodding. "I'm glad to see that Tibarn and Ayra could find happiness together, even after all that's happened."

She remembered the events of the past few months, Easter, Christmas, and Halloween. . . . So much strife, and yet out of that strife had been born love. The thought brought a smile to the dancer's face.

Looking over at the one who sounded angry, Ziaram sayed, "Oh, so this guy is actually Heath eh? Well that is nice to know. You seem like a nomad. What is your name?"

Amelia smiled and watched Tibarn and Ayra as they began their dance as newlyweds, close as they turned and flew across the ground, Ayra's dress floating as gracefully as their steps. She sighed a little and sat down in a chair, happy to just relax and watch the two share a moment together. It didn't matter how many people were actually watching them; they certainly seemed to feel they were alone.

She rested her right hand against her left, feeling the ring underneath, and she smiled. She wondered now where Rhys was, looking around idly before sighing and relaxing against her chair once more. It shouldn't be too hard to find him, and... right now, it felt nice to just sit and watch other people dance in quiet.

[[As I've said multiple times, I won't be here this weekend. So if you guys throw the bouquet in that time... I give my permission to puppet Amelia or something if necessary (though be REASONABLE, please), and I won't throw a fit if I don't get to catch the bouquet. XD]]

Turning to Sue, he was sure to respond with what she wanted with a response like "Yeah! Duh!" But instead, he said "Doctor Veteran doesn't know anything about said Heath... But would you like to dance? I want to show the newlyweds up." He sat out of recluse to his seat, ready to stand up.

Then Durbans showed up. "Hold on a second, I'll let whoever in while you dawdle on it." He walked to the door, reached for the handle, and unleashed a space for the guest to come it. Actually, he had to open the other door, while he thought in amazement of this guy's size. "Come on, come in, get ready to dance soon." He looked away and said "DAMN!" under his breath.

He approached Sue again; "So how 'bout it?"
PostPosted: Fri May 22, 2009 8:40 am

"Thank you sir," He replied, setting his Axe aside and put the flowers somewhere appropriate. He stood to his full height, revealing some of the muscles around his midsection. He looked around at the people that had come. He found a place next to a small girl with pink hair (AKA Serra). She was tiny! He looked down a moment. She barely made it up to his waist. It just went to prove that everything in this world was small to him. He did not sit. A warrior like him never sat. Not because he couldn’t, but because he shouldn’t. He didn’t want to make a scene should a chair break beneath his massive form. Though he was busy surveying the scene, he did keep a careful eye on Armads though. His Axe was his life.

He again retreated into thoughts of battle and began to size each of the members present. This little pink haired girl looks like a priestess of St. Elimine. She would not be the type to fight. There was another, an odd girl. She felt…strangely powerful. It reminded him of the dragons he fought back at the time of “The Scouring”. She would be a decent opponent. But something about her also did not look like the type wishing to fight. There was a young lordling. Another one of the smaller people. He looked competent but not much of a challenge. But there was a pair of young knights with him. Those he would like to test on the battle field. He also saw a man with strange eyes, apparently a wyvern rider by his appearance. Another one he would be glad to face. Also, a woman that appeared to be a paladin. She would be a nice match. There were many others he deemed worthy opponents but he also realized that now was not the time. He walked over to the two that seemed to be Bride and Groom.

“Congratulations,” he said in an even tone. He also bowed slightly to the couple. “Forgive the intrusion, and forgive me for arriving late. Durbans, I am also known as Armads. May your marriage be a long and happy one.”

((*twitch* To Durban and maybe Heath, the reception party is outside. Meaning, there is no door, wall, or halls around*))

"Yes, I agree." Isadora nodded. "It's so hard to imagine that such happiness could exist from all the war and battle we've fought. Even though I'm happy for Tibarn and Ayra to find happiness together, I couldn't help but wonder will their happiness last forever......"

She knew fully well that their love would last forever. After all, they had survived so many battles from all the events were played. Thinking back from her return, she couldn't help but shuddered the thought. After seeing the red shooting star, she wondered whether it was a bad omen or not in Learania. Praying that it was false, she let that aside.

"So Ninian...... Are you planning to catch the bouquet?"

"What?" Sue looked at the Wyvern Rider, doing a double-take. "You... want me to dance with you? Um... I guess I could, if that's all will happen."

She turned to Ziaram to introduce herself just before going off to enjoy the day with Heath, and not that way either. "I'm.. Sue. One of FEF's Host Club members...and this is one of my fellow Hosts, Heath."

"Let's go, shall we?" Sue asked Heath now, feeling bold. She had reason to... she was getting better with talking to other people after all.

"I hope they will be as happy as they can for as long as they can," Ninian said. She had the feeling that the newlyweds would be happy together for a very long time.

"So Ninian...... Are you planning to catch the bouquet?"

She blinked once, staring at Isadora. She vaguely remembered the tradition of the bride tossing her bouquet at all single ladies present at the wedding, having done so at her own wedding.

"I . . . I don't know if I could," she said softly, clutching her hands together, looking down at her unadorned left ring finger. "I am still married to Eliwood, even though I've lost my ring. . . ."

But was she really? a part of her mind asked. Did Elibean laws apply here? She was only married according to the laws of Lycia. If those laws did not apply here, then. . . .

She looked back up at Isadora. "What about you, Miss Isadora? Are you going to participate?"

Lance scratched his head. It was true Finn would be there to stop him from doing anything stupid, but it was also because of Finn that Lance could have his behaviour justified. Alone, Lance would just appear as a creep and scare people off.

Lance sat down on the ground with crossed legs while pondering the question. How could he interact with others without making a fool of himself? Blossom was still avoiding him. Lance sighed before standing up and hitting his chest. Whatever happens happens! I'm already at the bottom, the only way I can go now is up!

Lance looked around him, before his eyes fixed on the two women conversing. They had been sitting at the same side as him at the ceremony, but it wasn't until now he realized who they were. Ninian and Isadora...two of the more mature beauties in Eliwood's army.

As he had previously found out, there wasn't a soul in Learania that had heard about him. That didn't mean he didn't know about some of them. That actually gave him an edge when conversing, he'd be able to predict to some degree what the best lines would be!

Nodding to himself, he walked up to the two women. "Why, hi there! This is quite the party, isn't it? The name's Lance. What splendid ladies I've set eyes upon! Your names are Ninian and...Isadora, correct?" he said while putting on a gentleman's smile.

"You have to admit... it's a lot more interesting than we expected." Looking up with a roguish grin, Ayra drew him into a flowing waltz as the musicians changed the tempo with a flourish of her wrist. The three-step, steady rhythm let her easily start, though her husband would join in soon enough- she knew this dance back in Isaac, back when she loathed the dance for a lack of skilled partners to be with. Gliding now and almost remembering the blue silk she used to wear in the courts, she beamed with a sincere look of calm and reminiscence, spiced with a look of utter bliss.

It couldn't have gotten much better than this- even though Serra was now muttering incoherently, it was still an utter joy, being among friends and loved ones in this new world.

As her heels moved rhythmically against the floor, she could hear the arrival of a much more familiar cake- the white cake that she herself had commissioned, minus the pink heart augmentations that Serra had put onto the larger version. And yet, despite all the rituals concerned with the wedding... she thought that one more could be ignored, at least for the time being. Ignoring its arrival, she kept her eyes towards her husband's and let her heart be swept away by the gentle rhythm again.

That scaly man sure knew how to play a tune.

Rhys leaned back, empty champagne glass in his hand, his back against the bark of a tall maple tree, watching the dancing couple. A small gust of wind whipped through his orange hair. It just felt... nice. Tibarn and Ayra could hardly have asked for a better day than this.

He thought for a moment about taking a nap, and his eyes started to droop, but... no, he shouldn't be sitting on the outside, napping when people can still mingle. That wouldn't do!

He sauntered over to a nearby waiter, seizing a second glass of champagne--you didn't stay a mercenary for several years without learning a little something about your limits with alcohol, after all.

(I'M SORRY FOR OPENING A DOOR THAT WAS THERE IN THEORY. I WAS ONLY RESPONDING TO HIM BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE DID.)

"Yes, Sue, that's all that will happen. What are you expecting?" He questioned. Heath took a glance around for a split second, mostly at Durban. He didn't sit, and was next to Serra. He turned back to Sue while thinking "Does he plan to eat her? Will he ask her to dance? Will she speak to him and he'll want to kill her?" He further pondered it with a straight face, and then stretched his hand outward towards Sue.

A smirk ran his face forward. "Shall we now?"
