"Explain what about myself?" she asked, glancing back, curiously as she continued to walk forward. "I am a chemist," she said, heading right for a branch she could not see.

Merilir frowned and shook his head in reproof. "You would do well," he said appearing at her side and kneeling to aid her. "To have you mind more in the present, particularly when walking in the woods. They are not always the most predictable of places."
