Crystal shrugged, holding the vile out to Parker. "It doesn't matter to me," she said. "I'd probably spill it on her." She gave a small smile, looking to the younger girl for a moment before back to Parker. Cole just continued to stare at Shylo. He still couldn't figure out what to do and was so distracted by it that he didn't even notice Crystal or her magical vile. He let out an exasperated sigh and slapped his palm on his forehead. What would their parents think if he brought her back home green? Nikolas pulled his hand out of his pocket and looked at it, turning it over to see the other side. "Huh, what do ya know..." he said, rather nonchalantly. He wasn't one to freak out of things unless it was as a joke. He continued to look at his hand thoughtfully for another moment before running over to Shylo and bending his knees so he was about her height. "Hey, together we can be almost Christmas colors!"

That's kind of endearing, she thought, watching as Nikolas knelt in front of Shylo and made a slight joke, what Koda was sure was meant to be an attempt to cheer her up or at the very least make her laugh. She stayed where she was, deciding maybe she'd better take an active part in figuring out what was happening to Shy and Nikolas. She looked around the place, turning in a slow circle before her eyes landed on the table and all the food. Nikolas had eaten a strawberry and Shylo a grape. Grapes were green. Huh. "That was easy enough," she muttered.
Shylo stared at him, running her eyes over his pink skin before a small, hesitant smile formed. "We match," she said softly, some of her fear drifting away. She really didn't know him but the fact that he was trying to make her laugh made it just a bit easier to calm down.
"Thanks," he said. He took the vial and walked over to Cole. "Here. Tell her to take a sip of this," he said quietly. "Crystal say's it'll help." He didn't mention the full story though he wasn't quite sure Cole would have objected to it. Hell, his sister was maybe a bit loony in the head so he doubted Cole would have a problem accepting Crystal's story. Still.

"Why yes we do," Nikolas said, grinning at Shylo. "Funny, I always thought green was a more masculine color. And, well, pink is pink. Want to trade?" He held his hand out towards her, as if to try and take her color from her. Perhaps she would forget about their predicament if he kept it up... Cole looked from the vile to Parker before taking it. "Alright," he said before turning to his sister. He held it out to her, taking the cap off. "Try taking a sip of this. It might help with the color." His eyes slowly turned to Nikolas who, he had to say, looked rather ridiculous with pink skin. Any other time he would have made fun of him for it... "Make sure not to drink it all. Mr. Cherry Blossom over here might need some." Okay, so maybe he couldn't pass a chance like that up.

She reached out to take his hand, curious but stopped when Cole tried to pass her the vial. Shy looked at him for a moment, before taking the Vial, still hesitant to taste it. But if it would make the green cast of her skin go away...she bit her lip before sighing and taking a small sip, making sure to leave more than enough for Nikolas. The liquid was surprisingly sweet as it went down her throat. She handed the vial back to Cole and stared down at her hands, watching in awe as her skin went back to normal almost immediately. Without thought she ran past Cole and Nikolas to Crystal, tackling her in a hug. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" she rambled, holding tightly onto the other girl.
"Hmm....I wouldn't suggest anyone else eat the food," Koda said after a moment of holding back more laughter. She walked forward and patted Nikolas on the head. "Isn't that right, Cherry Blossom?"

A small, relieved smile came to Cole's face as he watched his sister's transformation. He didn't have to worry about his parents putting him in an early grave now. Or at least if he could get her back before too long. How late had it been when they had left? He wasn't sure, but they had probably realized that she was missing by that point. He took the vial back and looked at it for a moment before glancing to Nikolas to see if he wanted it. He couldn't help but smirk to himself at his color. It reminded him of what a female smurf could have looked like. Nikolas stood back up, watching as Shylo ran off. He smiled a bit, glad that she had been relieved of her 'ailment'. He glanced over to Koda with mock anger. "Aw, now don't tell me that nickname is going to stick," he said. "I think I preferred Niky." With that, he took the vile from Cole and took a swig, much like he was downing the contents of a shot glass. When he pulled it away from his lips, he wiped his mouth quickly before looking back to Koda, the pink color gone from his skin. "That actually tasted pretty good," he commented. "Are there any more talking rabbits I could get some from?" Crystal just about fell over backwards at Shylo's tackle and did all she could to stay upright. Once regaining her balance, she patted Shylo on the back lightly. "It's no problem," she said. "You're very welcome."

Shylo grinned and let go of Crystal before turning back to Cole and Nikolas. Despite the previous turmoil from just a few minutes ago she found herself growing excited again. "What next?" She knew she was probably, most definitely getting on Cole's nerves by now but she couldn't bring herself to feel regret for it. After all, this was the first time they'd ever really hung out before. She looked at it as a learning experience.
"Oh, I don't know, it just might," she said gravely, standing on her toes so she could pat his head again. "It just might. There's a certain ring to it." She backed up slightly, grinning, prepared in case he decided to do something as payback. Kodalina was determined to get him to crack; most would have given up by now. She slipped a hand in her pocket, her fingers brushing against the smooth red gem hidden inside. She figured it couldn't hurt to take one, especially since there were so many littered all over the floor.
Parker breathed a sigh of relief as the girl and Nikolas were back to normal. He wasn't sure he'd have been able to put up with this whole thing if she wasn't at the very least in a good mood. He sighed. How she was so hyper after all this he'd never understand. Maybe it was a girl thing?

((I read the sentence 'get him to crack' as 'get him on crack' XD)) Cole just stared at Shylo in response to her question. What where they going to do? He wasn't quite sure. He could only hope that the door had reappeared or something. But somehow he doubted it. "I saw we find a way back home," he said, glancing towards the door. Nikolas stuck his tongue out at Koda before crossing his arms. "Whatever you say," he said. "I'll find a way to get back at you." He then glanced over at Cole at his comment about finding a way back home. "Oh come now, we have to at least explore a bit," he argued. "Let's check out the back yard first."

((Lol. Nice!! XP Oh yeah, I'll probably be able to do one more post, then I gotta eat dinner, dishes, laundry...etc. I hate chores....))
A pout formed at Cole's words. She didn't really wanna go back home yet. So when Nikolas mentioned exploring outside in the back yard, she was the first one to race through the back door, leaving the rest to follow her. She knew Cole just wanted to go back but she was more interested in learning more about where they were.
"Wanna bet?" she baited, crossing her arms over her chest as she turned to follow Shylo out the door. "I doubt you can..." She was more amused than she was letting on though she was sure that humor showed on her face. She brushed a strand of hair out of her eyes and glanced back at them all, a small smirk forming. "Well? What are we waiting for? We can't leave here without her..."
Parker watched both girls flounce by him, too surprised to do much more than stare. Christ. Maybe they were all insane? Or maybe it was just the women. But then Crystal seemed...wait. She was the one talking to the rabbit. He held in a frown. Okay, so maybe al lof the women were insane...

(Me too XP But I'll be going to bed after this. I took my AP Psych test today so I guess that wore me out a bit? I'm done with AP testing now, though XD)) Cole watched as Shylo ran out the door. The only thing that crossed his mind was the word why. Why did he get stuck in that place? And why did his little sister have to follow him? He had only wanted something different to do with some free food but this big ordeal ended up coming out. He let out yet another exasperated sigh before reluctantly following along. Koda was right, he couldn't just leave her. Heaven only knows what she would do....
"You don't know me," Nikolas challenged, smirking lightly. He would think of something. And if he didn't he was sure he could find a good opportunity to get something in somehow. He could be creative if he wanted to. And besides, the fact that the food there turned their skin colors, he was sure there was plenty of tricks to be pulled. He followed her out the door and paused, waiting for the others.
Crystal happily joined the rest of them as they walked outside. She was happy to explore just as much as Shylo was. They were somewhat alike, actually. Crystal was quite childlike in her behavior, despite her age. Perhaps she had never truly grown up? Or the inner child in her just happened to be more dominant than anything else? Whatever the reason, she enjoyed life and that was all that mattered to her. Lucius waited for everyone else to exit before he too walked out the back door. He wasn't sure if he had any protests for exploring. The fact that this place had already boggled his mind numerous times made him curious. But with curiosity also came caution. He didn't want to wander into some type of 'trap' or just do something plain stupid. But then again, how would he be able to tell? As he stepped outside, the warmth of the sun hit him again. He squinted lightly as he glanced up. The sun was high in the sky, signifying that the time was around noonish. He shrugged, figuring there was nothing he could do to counter this observation. Nearby the house was a large garden, as he had noticed before. There was a path that led down past it to a valley of sorts. Past the valley was a forest, thick with trees. He looked out at it, wondering if all this really was in the Roberts backyard. He didn't remember a forest being anywhere near their house....

((Ugh. My back is so sore! I spent all day in a truck yesterday, moving and then unloading. Not fair, lol!! But I'm moved back in with my parents again so I guess that's a good thing...))
Aerenia watched as they all filed out of the house one-by-one, barely paying any attention to them. As interesting as this place was she was eager to leave now. It didn't seem like any of them would be receptive to her flirting and frankly, she didn't even feel like trying to snag there attention. If she were going to be honest with herself, the flirting was as much a front as the attitude and blatant disregard for others feelings in regards to her actions. She sighed and remained where she was, leaning back against the small green house. The two younger girls looked excited to be outside, especially the one who was no longer green. She wondered what other trouble the girl was going to get herself into.
Shylo ran forward, turning in a quick circle with her arms out around her. She was so excited! And curious! Shy couldn't wait to see what else this place had in store for them, though she hoped it wasn't as scary as green skin. Green skin or any other color besides the normal tanish peach color was just weird and scary. But she was determined to have fun the rest of the time they were there, no matter what happened. And because the others had tried to help her so much just a few minutes ago she would try her hardest to be calm if something happened again. But she couldn't promise she wouldn't freak out if it was really bad.
Grinning, she turned to the others, waiting. They could decide what they were going do next, though she was particularly interested in going into the woods.
Koda grinned as she heard his words, excited. "Maybe, but you don't know me either. Is this war?" Oh yeah, he would definitely make things worth while. She glanced at Nia and her smiled lessened somewhat. It was easy to see the other girl had lost her enthusiasm for being here. She wondered what had happened? Had Nia realized no one here was going to be receptive to her charms? Huh. But she was better at more than just flirting...She grinned. Oh well. No doubt Nia would cheer up again in a bit.
Parker watched them all, wondering what in the world was going to happen next. Whatever it was it probably wouldn't be a good thing, judging by how things had turned out so far. Not to mention Cole seemed to be the only one who was trying to figure things out with him....he shook his head. Now wasn't the time for scathing thoughts. He turned to the others, waiting to see what would happen. Maybe the girls would start talking to the grass? Hmph. Whatever.

Nikolas smirked slightly at her comment, tilting his head to the side a bit. "Perhaps," he answered before walking past her. He was almost glad that they had stumbled into this place. If they hadn't, he probably wouldn't have met Koda nor would he have had these odd experiences. Real or not, this place was entertaining him thoroughly and he couldn't help but wonder what sort of surprises would come next? He walked over to just before the ground started slopping downward. The forest a ways off seemed to be the most interesting looking place around. He glanced back at the others to see what they would do. If nothing else worked, he would just have to explore the place himself. But somehow, he had a feeling he would have company. Cole seemed to practically trudge out through the grass. He had made it rather obvious just by his posture and facial expression alone that he didn't want to be there anymore. He almost wished he could just go home. Not that he really cared that much about home in the first place, but home wasn't there, so he would still rather be home. He let out a rather irritated sigh as he glanced around the yard. Nothing real spectacular, which he was almost surprised about. That place seemed rancid with surprises. In all honesty, he really wasn't looking forward to finding out what the next one would be. Crystal looked around for a short moment. Everyone was taking too long to do anything so she figured she would break the ice. She took off running over towards the small hill that lead towards the forest. Nearby the forest, she spotted what looked like an old fashioned well. Not paying much attention, she just kept on running, enjoying the feeling of the wind in her hair. She slowly came to a stop at the base of the hill, just next to the well and turned around. "Come on guys! Let's check out the forest!" she called up to the rest of them.

((Gyahh!! OMG! Sorry! I was thinking you hadn't posted yet!! Totally brilliant...))
She grinned and raced after Crystal but in her hurry, Shy stopped paying attention and managed to trip over her feet, slipping and sliding down the hill. She was too surprised to say anything for a moment, simply staring up at the sky, before she burst into laughter. It took a moment for the laughter to subside as she sat up, before pushing herself to her feet. That was so much fun!!! She glanced up at the hill, tempted to try it again. Another giggle escaped and she brushed herself off as she turned to Crystal. There would be other things to do. "C'mon, let's not wait for them," she said, taking a step into the forest path, "They can catch up!" Shy didn't wait for Crystal to answer but instead went on ahead in her usual manner.
Koda shook her head, amused, but slowly followed after him, a quiet chuckle the only sound from her. She saw the two girls at the base of the hill and Shylo leaving them all to explore the forest. The girl was amusing and independent. She'd be hell on wheels probably when she was older. Going to the forest did seem like a good idea. Grinning, she grabbed Nikolas' hand and attempted to drag him along behind her. Letting go at the last minute, she used the momentum to spin around and stick her tongue out at him, stumbled over a rock and quickly turned back around to race after Shylo. "Haha!!"
((Not much for Parker or Nia...))

Crystal turned when she heard Shylo fall. She was just about to turn to help her up when the girl started laughing. A small smile came onto her face before a quiet giggle escaped her lips as well. She paused as Shy ran past her before quickly following along behind her. "You snooze, ya loose!" she shouted over her shoulder as she continued to run. Nikolas stumbled forward as Koda grabbed him. He regained his balance shortly and looked up to Koda with a slightly amused smirk. He quickly followed her down the hill, not bothering to see if anyone else would go by their example. He had gained enough momentum running down the hill that he found it hard to stop once he got to the bottom. He didn't even notice a sign hung on the well that read 'Any persons wishing to do so may turn back and return home safely.' He slowed as best he could before coming to the edge of the forest. It seemed more dense close up than it had from far away. He stared up at the trees before taking a step into it, dead leaves immediately crunching under his feet. Cole watched as Shylo fell and frowned to himself. She better not have hurt herself or, as always, he would be the one to get it from their parents. Even when she started laughing, he wasn't sure if he was satisfied. She could still have some scrapes or something and be laughing about it. He glanced over to Parker for a moment before slowly walking down towards them. "I suppose we have no choice in the matter, eh?" he mumbled.

Though she'd started out at a run, Shy slowed to a walk as the trees became thicker and closer together. Dead leaves crunched under her feet as she moved but she was more captivated buy the muted beauty of the forest. She'd never seen anything like it. But it was also too quiet, as if something was out of place. She wondered where all the birds and other creatures were. She turned to Crystal. "Shouldn't it be nosier?"
Parker simply stared at the sign on the well, wondering why the others hadn't seen it. It was obvious the sign was implying that the forest was dangerous or that at the very least something in the forest was dangerous. He sighed and slowly followed after the others, walking slowly next to Cole. Despite the current situation, Parker couldn't help but to smile just a little at Cole's comment. "Girls are going to rule the world eventually," he replied, watching Koda drag Nikolas down the hill then disappear without him. Nia was the only one who hadn't descended the hill yet. Speak of the devil and she will appear he thought as he saw her slowly approaching them.
"Of course we'll rule the world eventually," Nia said, smiling slightly as she came up on Cole's right, glancing across him at Parker, "It's just a matter of time." She turned back to watch her step down the hill and glanced back at Cole. "At least she's not older than you," she commented, hoping he would understand she was talking about Shylo. She didn't know the girl that well but from what she'd seen, Nia had a feeling Cole would have been traumatized as a child if Shy had been the older sibling.

Crystal stared up at the trees, not really sure whether it was their size or their density that interested her. Slowly, she tore her attention away from them and looked to Shylo as she spoke. Not having notice before, she stopped to listen. "Yeah.....I suppose you're right," she said, tilting her head a bit. "It's rather quiet.....Aren't there usually birds or something? I don't think I even feel any bugs." Cole looked to Parker with a slight smirk. He was about to say something when Nia came up beside him. He glanced to her for a moment, not sure if he really liked her or not. He didn't have much of a chance to get to know her. He glanced over as he was walking to the forest, still wondering if going in there was a good idea. Probably not, but, like they had said, they probably didn't have much of a choice.
