Not that anyone could see the change, but 1337's eyebrow quirked up slightly underneath his visor. Two that had doubt in his abilities? Rather than address anything specifically, he instead supplied a vague, yet cocky comment for his now full jeep. "Never underestimate someone's capabilities." He couldn't help but glance back towards the other male team-mate in the back seat. It was a bit of a pity that there had to be 1 other guy in the group, but as the saying went: Bros before hoes! With the thought having passed through his mind, 1337 turned back to facing forward, as if ready to drive. However, the other jeeps didn't quite seem ready yet. With his left hand, he once more made the typing gestures with his fingers. Unseen to the others, he was pulling up data on the inside screen of his visor, going over the specifics of the mission now since things seemed quiet. And while he was at it, he might as well look up directions for Ambergris while he was at it. "So, I assume ya'll got names, right? Or codenames, if ya'd prefer sharing that?" He didn't exactly offer his own name, but it was more interesting to listen to noise while he did some work.

Nikki couldn't help a look of slight envy as she looked at the shiny Charizard that TRP released. Some day DF would be that big and she could ride him on her missions. For now though... she had to settle for ground transporation. She also had to grimace a bit at the idea of going after ghost Pokemon. Her one Pokemon was a normal type after all. Not exactly the best to take on ghosts.
Snatching a set of keys, Nikki made her way to the jeep where the white haired guy had planted himself in the back seat and decided to sulk over Lugia knows what. She had no interest in going with someone who ignored standard procedure and seemed to care more about flirting with the female recruits than he actual job. Nikki was all business and it showed in her serious expression. Darkfeather flapped his wings a little to steady himself as his trainer quickly moved into the driver's seat of the jeep.
Inserting the key into the ignition, the vehicle roared to life.

Sierra balked a bit at the general information about their mission. Ghost types? Crap...
She eyed Celeste with worry. Could the Pidgey even stand a chance against the Ghost types? She wondered for a bit if the Pokemon could even hold her own in an even battle. Celeste had never seemed overly willing to battle, even in training battles. This could be a disaster...and the trouble would fall on Sierra's head.
No...she would not be defeated so easily. One way or another, she was going to make it thought this mission. She wasn't about to be cut on her first challenge.
She headed out towards the Jeeps, Celeste cooing softly and nudging her cheek in ignored gestures of comfort. Her eyes scanned the line. Sierra was about to claim a Jeep of her own, but they were filling up fast. Darn it. And the choices for riding parties were looking a little slim.
The weird visor guy? Heck no. Fortunately, his vehicle seemed to be full already anyway.
The other vehicles were also filling fast. The only one that seemed mostly empty caught her eye. Again...aw crap. The blonde with the unusual Pidgey. Well, even if she'd been stuck with a normal Pidgey, maybe the other wouldn't mind her tagging along. Maybe between the two of them, they could come up with some way for their normal-type birds to manage.
...what was she saying? She was going to depend on someone else? Not hardly. She repremanded herself mentally. She was here to prove her own strength and worth...she wouldn't do that by depending on others.
...still, she needed a ride.
So, sighing, she set off at a jog for the Jeep that had just revved to life, Celeste flapping briefly and clinging to her shoulder. "It alright if I tag along with you?" she asked, one hand on the door, but not entering the vehicle until she got an okay from the driver first.

When Sierra came over and asked to join them, Nikki looked her up and down for a moment before nodding her head towards the front passenger's seat. "Hop in."
Of all the other recruits, this girl was probably the only one had any inkling of Nikki's respect simply for being a fellow Pidgey trainer.

SEA didn't quite know how to respond to the whole joy ride thing from the tall guy. What was she supposed to say? So she just ignored it. The other girl's comment seemed a bit more interesting however. Though she loved the water, SEA had never been farther out than her own bay in Makko village. Even if it was a hurricane, she wondered what it was like.
Another grunt joined their group in the vehicle and SEA looked between the two male agents, feeling the slight tension. Must be a guy thing. . . The driver was asking for introductions and SEA gave her's "I'm called SEA. I came up with the name but it's kinda. . ." She shrugged in embarrassment, glancing at the other woman who seem to have a lot more experience than her in that area.

"Thanks." She nodded, glancing over at Celeste before hopping in. The expression she shot Nikki wasn't exactly a half-smile...more of a slight twitch at the corner of her mouth, but considering how seldom she smiled anyway, that alone was saying something. She was grateful enough for being accepted to ride along.
She took her seat, then eying the seatbelt for a second, held up her forearm horizontally. She clicked her tongue softly and Celeste trilled quietly at her before hopping over to her arm. She lowered the Pokemon to her lap so that she could fasten her seatbelt. "Now behave and you can stay out. Otherwise, it's back in the ball for the ride," she muttered under her breath. It wasn't as if she was being nice...of course not. Maybe if the bird Pokemon observed another fighter and how to behave, she'd act more like that.
Yeah...something like that.

He watched the two Pidgey trainers quietly while still thumbing the side of the Pokeball at his waist out of irritation. He had managed to keep his rage in check when he saw his superiors Charizard, but he wasn't sure how many times he would be able to do so. He had to figure out a way however, as he needed Team Rocket so his personal goals could be achieved. These two however, seemed to have bizarre bond in the sense that while they didn't appear to openly like each other that they understood one another a bit better as they both trained a Pidgey. He had seen such bonds before and found them intriguing. He was certain other trainers who adored their Pokemon as much as he did his Azra could also share such a bizarre bond. Pokemon were truly mysterious creatures and the study of them always left him with a sense of fulfillment. "Well... Since we'll be working together... I'm Claris."His voice was as hollow as it had been when he spoke to 'TRP' although he wasn't sure if their superior had honestly noticed him in their brief encounter.

Darkfeather occasionally stole glances at the other Pidgey. Not entirely sure what to make of her. Granted, they were not exactly friendly glances. Celeste was competition than anything. Nikki had yet to see DF take any interest in other members of his species, even the opposite sex. That was certainly something she and the bird had in common.
As Claris introduced himself, Nikki glanced up at the rear view mirror to get a better glimpse at the grunt who sat in the back seat. "Nikki" she replied simply in returned introduction.
With the engine rumbling and ready to go, Nikki waited for TRP's lead.

Glancing back over her shoulder to put a face to the voice, Sierra replied in kind. "Sierra..." Celeste chirped softly and Sierra turned to shoot her a brief glare. "...and Celeste," she added after a thought.
The Pidgey eyed the other of her species with curiosity and nothing more. She wondered how long he had been looking after his human. The two definitely seemed close, she could tell that much without asking. He must care for her greatly. He certainly seemed protective of her.
Still, Celeste was not oblivious to the hostility in the glances he was shooting her. She made no attempt at conversation for now, as he was likely defensive of his human with the coming mission. She gently dipped her head with a soft trill, politely implying that she was not ignoring him, but merely respecting his privacy, then turned her gaze out of the Jeep window.
Sierra, meanwhile, kept passing her eyes between Celeste and Darkfeather, both watching for signs of hostility between the two Pokemon and mentally comparing them. Figures...she had never deserved anything special before anyway, so why start now? As usual, she'd just have to do her best with what she had.

For a moment, the agent in a visor paused the motions with his left hand. He turned and looked at the relatively short and youthful girl. He then used his left hand and pointed of to the side somewhere as if he was clicking and dragging on a laptop touch screen. Underneath the visor, he glanced at the screen invisible to the rest, then back to this girl. "...kinda surprising that you're 19 years old." He chuckled a bit, then he added "It's a good agent codename." In all honesty, he had heard better, but he had heard people who literally just used their real names. And that was the lamest thing any Rocket could really do. What TRP had mentioned earlier was quite true: 1337 really did do his research.

"Ah, thanks. . I think," SEA said, feeling a bit of a mix of emotions over his response. She wasn't all that surprised that he was surprised over her age, but she was more interested in how he knew that fact in the first place. She knew she never met him before, but maybe he was familiar with some of the members she did her training with. And for some reason she didn't really believe he was telling the truth about her codename. SEA had developed quite the ear for those kinds of things as a youngster since people had never been completely honest with her for all her life. She inwardly sighed. "I don't believe you've given us your name yet," she turned the subject on him.

He nodded in response to them both and turned to peer out the window, staring off at something for a moment before turning to gaze out at what would lay in front of them once they got their little convoy moving. "I look forward to working with you four then..."He nodded towards Darkfeather as well in reference to his statement. He fell silent once more, sinking back into the seat of the jeep to try to relax a bit. Ghost type Pokemon were the goal, and that held his interest. Of the few types he truly enjoyed, Ghost type were number three on the list. He also knew that Azra would enjoy the sport, it was rare that his partner got to see the outside of the Pokeball anymore.

( Okay I'm gonna start using my account in here. Switching to TRP just for RP posts is a bit too much hassle. XD )
TRP nodded approvingly as everyone got situated in their vehicles and introduced themselves. She acknowledged a few passing introductions before turning to climb on Axel's back. The charizard let loose a powerful roar (he was such a show-off) before charging forward, wings flapping. Soon he was airborne, taking the lead in front of the group.
"Just follow us." She called back over her shoulder as they headed into the desert.
The trip to Ambergris wouldn't take terribly long. Out in the open desert the gang was free to drive as fast as they'd like. There wasn't really anything to risk hitting and Axel set a good pace. When they arrived at Ambergris they'd find it just as TRP had described it. The town had clearly been a bustling city at some point in the past. Now it was full of empty buildings in varying states of disrepair.
When they arrived Axel landed with a ground-shaking thud. TRP dismounted the giant lizard. She waited a few moments for the rest of the group to arrive. "Everyone here? No lost stragglers?" She counted vehicles and nodded, "Good. Welcome to Ambergris. This entire side of town is completely deserted. There's still a few inhabited buildings on the western side, so I wouldn't recommend heading over there. At least for today.
"Now it's early in the day so you shouldn't have to worry about any powerful ghost types lurking about. They tend to go about their business at night. For the most part you'll be encountering a lot of gastlys and a few haunters. Whatever you can catch is fine. As long as it's a ghost type it counts. If any of you wind up in a sticky spot and think you need help, push the small gray button on your Team Rocket Pokedex. It'll notify me of your location and I'll hurry over. Everyone clear?"

Gathering the names of the other two currently in the jeep, Nikki couldn't help a smirk.
"Glad to see you two decided not to pick up one of those lame code names."
Honestly... what was with that? Some feeble effort to make themselves unique and cool? Please. There were other, better ways to stand out.
Darkfeather fluffed his feathers and looked pleased to be made mention of. The pride the little bird showed only served to broaden Nikki's smirk even more.
"The black feather ball is Darkfeather," Nikki then added.
Waiting for the cue, there was little else to do other than small talk or remaining silent. The cue then came and Nikki zoomed ahead in the jeep that she proudly drove. Despite only being 16, she did have her driver's license and was fully capable of the task.
When they arrived, Nikki exited the jeep and listened to TRP's instructions. She gave a nod of affirmation, showing that she understood the instructions.

As he exited the vehicle his gaze was locked on the form of the shiny Charizard and the ice blue eyes narrowed in absolute disgust. He turned his gaze away and focused on 'TRP' as she spoke and listened to their instructions. He was more interested in the tougher Ghost types that would appear later in the evening, but he figured he could make due with whatever would be available early. While he knew he couldn't catch any for himself, he did know how to get here now and could always come back to poke about. Maybe he'd luck out and find one he really liked, that would only add to his strength. When 'TRP' finished her instructions he nodded, not expecting to need the gray button in the slightest. Azra was his pride and joy at this point, and they had trained hard for a chance to show their worth to someone. Besides, while a ghost pokemon did have the advantage of tending to lay out the status effects, he was certain Azra could handle anything this place had to throw at him.
