"I have an exclusive already Mr. Sabin, I don't see any other journalists scrambling to get here" she called back patting a free hand atop her telephoto lens, "An exclusive I dont have to deal with legal jargon for" she added thinking of the dozen or so rolls of film she'd taken from further out to sea. She stood upright again her figure wasn't exactly imposing being petite and well... short, but she liked to think of herself as at least confident.

Sabin's full six feet towered over the miniature woman as he crossed his arms, but kept the bemused expression. "Oh... well... you don't want to actually know more about what's going on then... I see. Pity. We're close to releasing the news publically - and while you may scoop the press I was going to speak with about the release, you'll be missing the full story. Flashy photographs can be nice. But substance is much better. Sorry to hear that." He shook his head, looking mock-disappointed.

Joliette quirks a brow, this was intereesting to say the least. She didn't move from where she was standing on teh deck of her boat, she looked across the short distance of water to the couple on the beach. "What could be bigger then Vasille DiRossi faking his own death and then caught in costume on a beach" she called back at him still not convinced

In Sabin's mind he grinned a face-stretching grin. That was precisely what he wanted to hear. With that phrase, the mention of "costume" this young woman had revealed her hand - what she knew, and more precisly, what she didn't know.

"Because he's working on the role... the film of a lifetime. But if you don't want to know about it... and the other people who are working on it with him. That's fine. I'm just surprised that you're content with the few scraps of information you stole as opposed to sharing the full meal." He shrugged, hands in his pockets with a cat-that-ate-the-canary smile.

Now he was hitting a nerve, the one that was Joliette's perfectionist side. Her motto 'do it right or don't do it at all' was overriding that little voice in her mind that was telling her to be wary of this man. She pondered his words for a few minutes then glanced at her mounted camera before looking back at the pair "Allright..." she agreed

Sabin grinned and clapped his hands together. "Excellent! This will save me the time of choosing who to 'leak' the story to. Although... I should ask... what paper? Magazine? are you working with?"

He gesture to the jeep. "Come with us back to the facility and we'll talk" He smiled genially.

Joliette shifted the gears of hte boat bringing it closer into shore so that it wouldn't float away then shut it off pocketting the keys. She grabbed her camera bag and unmounted the camera. "I am under hte employ of various people" she said walking to the bow of her craft, "Right now the World Weekly News" she told him taking firmer hold of the bag and camera before jumping down into the shallows she didn't have any problem doing that with her martial arts training.

Sabin had a hard time choking back his reaction. Weekly World News? She was a tabloid reporter?? If it wasn't for the high tech camera equipment, Sabin would have almost second guessed just allowing her to leave - no one would believe her anyway in that newspaper.

"Well! What a neat way to break the story. And later you can laugh and say it really was true!" He chuckled and offered her a hand to shore.

"So! You must tell me. The alien babies... Elvis sightings.... how much of it is true?" Sabin smiled- he actually had something of a professional interest.

"Let me help you with those" Sabin offered, gesturing to her camera equipment.

"I would not have a clue Mr. Sabin, I deal only with real things, that sort of thing" She told him shaking hte water off her canvas shoes as she reached the sand "No thanks I'm all right" she said hefting the camera with it's lens under her arm "I may be short but I've carried more then this before"

Sabin shrugged. "Suit yourself." He gestured to the back of the jeep. "Toss it in and I'll take you back."

He shook his head. "'Only the real things?' I guess that answers that question, then." Sabin said, sounding somewhat disappointed. "You're in for a treat here, though."

Joliette walked confidently across the sand and set her equipment into the vehicle before climbing in, she was eager to get more information on the exclusive he was offering

Sabin held the door open for her and then hopped in teh driver's seat, joined soon after by Aubrey.

"It's just a short drive from here." Sabin smiled back to her, while punching in a key code into a pad under the dash to signal the offshore crew to come confiscate the boat.

He put the car into gear and drove it off the beach and onto a dirt path that led into the jungle. It was so lush. Outside of the narrow road cut through the trees, it looked wild, completely untamed. As if on cue, a small monkey scampered across the road, only beng narrowly missed by the jeep as Sabin slammed on the breaks and cut the wheel to avoid it. Recovering smoothly, Sabin acceleraged again, and large buildings became visable over the treeline - built into the side of a cliffface. Dark, reflective glass-lined steel.

Joliette grabbed the edge of her seat and swore in her mind at his driving, he was a madman behind the wheel. As she saw the buildings come into view she reached for her camera to snap off a few photographs.

Moments later, they were driving towards a tall, metal gate that swung upon as they approached. Inside was a small lot with a few other vehicles parked. Sabin pulled in next to one of them and hopped, out, opening the door for a frazzled Aubrey, and then Joliette.

"We're here." Sabin smiled.

Aubrey nodded to Sabin and went inside.

"You can leave your heavier things in the jeep if you like." Sabin mentioned. "And we can go find somewhere more comfortale to talk. Though, I'll warn you - this IS a tropical Island. There are a few nasty diseases floating around and if you dont' want to take any risks, I'd reccomend the immunization."

Jolieete snapped a couple more shots up close and then grabbed her things and climbed out "No, I'll be fine, I do not believe in immunizations, they are cruel to animals" she said, she'd refused to take immunizations ever since she had become a vegan a few years previous, and intended to stand firm here as well
