Well in that case it all depends on the angel itself's religion. There are angels in many religions so everything falls under the char's beliefs and ultimately the players beliefs. I mean >.> could always be a Jashin angel...
((By 'Light" I think he means the holy energy called light, The light of a fire would not be considered that, but in some religions the light in lightning would >.> causa ZUES and THOR and ANY OTHER LIGHTNING GODS ))

In my faith, angels have free will even though they answer to God. And Satan is a fallen angel.
Bu that has little to do with Character Creation. I've been looking for some feedback on my Ogre character over in Character Creation Reviews.
(I'm basically posting to bump my thread up towards the top of the Classrooms again.)

Didn't think my char would make this much of a discussion. To answer it all, in the universe I have him in, there is no light in hell. The version of hell I based it off of is Pandemonium(the den of devils) from Paradise Lost. Light on earth must be purified before he can use it and naturally the light in heaven is always pure. I'm not really going by any strict religous rules here, but I did take most of it from the Christian religion(or Catholic, it's all coke versus pepsi to me anyway). You know, the whole high order thing. Normal angels, seraphim, archangels. At least I think that's how it goes. He's not so much creating arrows from nothing as he is converting light into a usable form.
And I suppose if you want to get technical here, the "light" from fire and lighting are chemical byproducts. And lightining isn't really pure light, it's plasma.Although, getting super technical, all other light is a byproduct of the sun.
And yeah, the "magical holiness of good", that's far too cliche' for me to even consider using.
And I'm gussing I should probably move him to the review thread, I would have put him there originally had I seen it first.

Good, we got you thinking now. I like the idea of light in tangible form. Perhaps he could eventually adapt to be able to absorb lightning, or something. But that's just another branch of thinking. Being able to fire lightning bolts from a bow would be pretty cool.

((Im more into the Demonic Vampire stuff. here's the best I got. Feel free to give me advice if you wish))
Name: Dante Race: Demonic Vampire Age: Dosent age any more but is 20 Sex: Male Personality Traits: Hellish Red eyes and bright black hair. Takes red eyes of his demonic father and bright black hair from his vampire mother. Physical Traits: Healthy in most terms. Can run for a while like a football player. Can jump pretty well. Healthy bones. Nothing wrong with him really History: Dante's child hood started pretty harsh. Got worse when he got to Middle school. Dante had gotten explled from his High school for kicking the living s**t out of a kid for trying to steal his launch money. Dante had a good Education just never made it past high school so great. Dante at least has a G.E.D. Dante's short fuse for Humens cause him trouble with the cop's to leaving Dante the only man of his kind.
((Any good?))

It's not bad. But Dante just seems stereotypical for that kind of character. Perhaps you could try and come up with a name that doesn't sound like the main villain from a cheap comic. Otherwise the character sounds very interesting. He's supernatural, but his abilities seem natural. That's an interesting little bit to think on.

I definitely agree with the name. I think it would make more sense to give him a more common full name and then perhaps say that he took on the name 'Dante' later on.
Also, you failed to really explain his personality. You just kind of explained some more physical traits in the personality section. So yea :]

Dante is a stright I dont want your s**t type person thats his only personality. I saw no reason to put one up. I mean one would have wasted space so I decided to move onto another subject taking two spaces. Thanks for the Advice. And Dante isnt a cheap comic book villain he's Actually the main hero for devil may cry 1 2 and 3. untill 4 hes still a good guy but you dont play as him. What should I call him instead if your able to give out names. Epic names.

First of all, what is stright even supposed to mean?
Secondly, if you're not going to listen to any of the advice given to you then why are you even posting your profile?
A personality is vital to any character. If you're unable to explain your characters traits including their strengths, weaknesses, and what not then it just goes to show that it's probably not a well-developed character. I would suggest just putting more time into your character's profile in general.

Well, regardless of whether it's villain or hero. The name is still too stereotypical. Jessie's idea of having him take on that name later has merit.
