Rika slowly shakes her head -- "Setsushi specifically said that this one mage is violent and dangerous. I believe there are other mages in this land; we might try finding and befriending them first."
At the same time, in response to Tenkyuu's privately conveyed information about Setsushi, Rika privately informs her, in turn, that she already knows.
And shrugs a little with a smile and sigh; it is unclear to which conversation the gesture belongs.

Tenryuu replies with the mental equivalent of 'hmph' and shrugs as well. Tenkyuu will get grandchildren when Tenryuu is good and ready, and not a moment sooner.
That said... bracing herself, Tenryuu looks Rika squarely in the eye. "We seem to have wandered away from the topic at hand." Since it has been established that Tenryuu will aid the Imperial Princess to the best of her ability with this project, is there anything she requests? Tenryuu would be honored to do whatever is needed of her, especially if the Imperial Princess insists on honoring them with such a generous gift.
... she is certain that rent would not be appropriate? sweatdrop

Rika's mixture of smile and sigh tug Tenkyuu's lips upward before she nods lightly. Yes, Tenkyuu agrees with Rika there--Setsushi is a good judge of character and Kumoru should thus be left out of such an important project. However, Tenkyuu was suggesting, just as the Imperial Princess did, that they should not give up on human mages.
If the Imperial Princess would permit it, Tenkyuu would like to use the "enter-net" to search for communities of willing mages--she has learned that the "enter-net" is a great tool for finding information that rivals even the best seers and spies.
To her daughter, the mother lightly admonishes Tenryuu for her carefree attitude--Tenkyuu most certainly expects grandchildren soon she teases. Tenkyuu's playful tone is drawn away, however, and she sends a reassuring feelings to Tenryuu--she will be fine accepting Rika's gift, even if she loses a little of her much-loved independence.

Rika nods slightly at Tenkyuu. "The Gaians' communication network? Very well -- if you are familiar with its operation, please go ahead."
But to Tenryuu she insists, "Rent is unnecessary. And, aside from the recharging... I have nothing to request but that you provide us with your companionship and protection. And that you," she says, indicating Tenryuu and Ryoua in particular, "take good care of your noble mother."

And here Tenryuu thought it was her mother who had taught her to be patient (or tried, at least). Now she thinks it must have been some other Tenkyuu, or that she misheard, for clearly this one is not displaying the trait herself.
"I will do my best," Tenryuu swears. Not that she hadn't been planning to do those things from the start, but if this is all that Rika asks of her, she must put even more effort into it. Somehow.
She adds that the last request may prove difficult. While Tenryuu and Ryoua attempt to take care of their mother, Tenkyuu does not always make it easy. But Tenryuu is not afraid of a challenge, even one so challenging as the great Heavenly Bow.
