Mas's gaze moved on down along the hall. He felt the gentle stroke of Taliesin's hand upon his arm, and within he felt a small delighted cry go up born of pride. There was something very satisfying in having Taliesin on his arm. Much in the same way walking into a banquet hall with the most powerful or prestigious female in the whole city would have felt. Mas caught the slight movement of Tal's head as he looked away, which prompted Mas to glance down at his lover's profile. He was uncertain for a moment...but he thought he might have detected a faint warmth of a blush upon his cheek? Was that truly there? If so...Mas felt a flutter of vanity. He was not so humble as to believe that it was not his own beauty that had caused the heat to tinge those cheeks.

The stood upon the next floor, the silent stone halls were dark and devoid of life. Not even the servants ventured onto the Raiders floor when there was no one to serve or clean up after. There would be a stir of activity the week prior to the groups return of course, but until then the dust would be allowed to gather and silence would be allowed to reign. All at Mas's order of course. His 'mother' would have been a stickler for cleanliness, but Mas felt that keeping the halls empty provided him a bunker of solitude from the untrustworthy servants below. Anyone passing through the rooms and halls would leave a distinct mark of passage that Mas could follow easily enough and use to determine who the offender was by magical means. He did adore his magical skills. Once his power was established he would rescind his order of course. The House would be cleaned corner to corner and finally decorated in a way befitting the rich House.

Mas allowed Tal to determine they would pass on by the empty rooms. Together they descended the stairs further to the floor that next made up the spire of House Barrith. Tal spoke then, offering his advice to a very willing ear. Mas tilted his head, his blue eyes focusing inwardly as he considered the suggestion. It was not a outrageous one, and it seemed more logical. "You are here to help protect me are you not Taliesin? So then it is well within your rights to make suggestions." Mas replied as he led his lover through a pair of narrow iron bound stone doors. His eyes flickered over the bookshelves that dissected the room into orderly aisles. Each shelf reached from ceiling to floor and was formed of calcified spider webbing. Mas felt a bit more of his pride swelling at the sight of so many books on display. "I believe it is a sound suggestion with merit. I can call the lieutenants in to speak privately when they return and use the questions as a means to judge the mood of the generals as well. I will have the chosen general publicly executed. I am certain the servants will do well with a grand example to keep their tongues still as well. I still need to tend to the Watch as well, perhaps I shall do it all in one go. Surely watching my magic strip the tattooed flesh from the Guard and then watching their 'traitorous' captain will also give them the proper respect?" Mas's blue eyes flickered with a cold edge as he escorted Taliesin through the libraries and to a specific door forged of mithril. Mas paused before it and delicately dipped his fingers into the sleeve of his robe. He pulled out a glass key with a blue gemstone embedded into the handle. With a showy flourish, he leaned forwards and inserted the key into the mithril doors lock.

With a twist of the key, a musical sounding click came from the lock and Mas nudged the door open. "I would like to show you a...favored room of mine. None of the servants are allowed in here and I've long since confiscated all the spare keys to this chamber." Mas informed Tal as the door swung open wide.

The strong scent of earth and moisture wafted from the room. The chamber itself was quite large, easily a hundred feet in diameter. Rick dark black soil made up the floor, broken only by a smooth cobble stone path that circled the room and broke off randomly to twist into dead ends. The ceiling was left rough and unfinished, so it resembled the nicked stalactites of the city cavern. Lichen and moss glowed on the ceiling in carefully tended patterns to resemble arcane marks of protection and misdirection. Mas gave them a fond glance before allowing his eyes to turn to the rest of the garden. Few plants could thrive in the Underdark..and fewer yet were actually harmless enough or pretty enough to be be kept as decoration. The surface world however..had thousands of plants. Not all of them could live off the wane light of the moss above, and for that purpose a large crystal with sharp cut edges had been placed upon a pedestal in the center of the room. Mas lifted his hand to sweep over the assortment of small dwarfed trees and plants that filled the room. "Plants from the surface. You would not believe the magical potential that goes unused simply because it is inconvenient or hard to come by. Over the years my Raiders have come by a vast collection of unusual seeds. I bring them here to grow and discover what sorts of plants may be utilized." His head lifted to take in the large crystal in the center of the room. "As they are from the surface they are frail weak plants. The crystal there contains a sunstone. For six hours each day mark it blazes with a foul and unpleasant amount of yellow light. Just enough to keep these plants from withering and dieing. I have only managed to uncover a small amount of their uses...but I will admit I am quite proud of the fact no one else has access to such plants." Mas paused then and gestured Tal towards a small clump of long green stems topped with paper like purple flowers. "Should you wish access to this room I will provide you with one of the keys. The sunstone is attuned to the key so should it be on when you visit it will automatically dim and cease it's annoying glow."

As they walked, Tal only half listened to what Mas said, his eyes skipping across the numerous books on display. Taliesin felt a faint flutter of jealousy as he admired teh collection, he'd amassed a small library in his old workshop and there had been a library in his old House, but neither came near to the vast collection Mas had acquired. Tal would have loved to go strolling through the aisles searching through the stacks to see what treasures Mas had in here. For now though he contained his excitement and moved along with Mas, there would be plenty of time to give the library a thorough perusal once he was settled in.

Turning his attention back to what Mas was saying Tal nodded and smiled his approval, he may have only been half listening but he still picked up on the details and heard everything he'd hoped for. Things were going smoothly. Hugging Mas's arm tightly, Tal nuzzled against his shoulder and smiled with a dark expression. "Yes that sounds ideal. You could even make a day of it and enjoy ourselves. Tortures in the morning, followed by a grizzly execution and then a banquet to celebrate in the afternoon?" There was something about death that mildly aroused Tal, he supposed it was to do with the power one felt when he had the life of another in his hands. They did say power was an aphrodisiac. Of course it was just as likely Tal was a cruel sadist, but he was happy either way.

When they reached the mythril doorway, Tal's yellow eyes took on a keen look of interest, following Mas's motions closely as he guessed what may lay beyond. His initial hopes were for a vault containing rare or obscure texts, but those hopes were dassed the moment the door opened and he caught a whiff of the air inside. As he followed Mas through, Tal's nose wrinkled in distaste at the alien aromas coming from the garden inside. Tal had no knowledge of plants form the surface world, so as Mas explained what lay before him, Tals eyes roamed teh room taking in the bizarre collection of plants, all the while his nose wrinkled against the weird aromas filling the air.

In response to Mas' offer Tal shook his head, nose wrinkled and brow furrowed in disgust. "While I'll not question your judgement and knowledge of teh matter, I've no interest in it myself. I recognise the usefulness of potions and and various agents in spells, but it was never an area of study that held any interest to me. I've always been a mage of fire and metal. And to be quiet frank the smell in here is a little sickening, I see now why you wear so much perfume, it must be to hide the stench from in here"

Lightly tugging on Mas' arm and taking a step back towards the library Tal tried to imply his desire to leave this room as quickly as possible. The aroma, while no more unpleasant as when he'd first entered was making teh inside of his nose itch as if he had to sneeze. Even as that thought crossed his mind Tal let out a loud sneeze and immediately glared at the plants in the garden as if they'd somehow caused it maliciously.

While Tal seemed highly uninterested in the plants themselves, Mas could not help but look upon them with a prideful suriety. These were plants that so few had access to normally, and he had a nearly endless supply of samples for his experiments. Providing he was willing to be patient and wait for them to renew and refresh themselves over time. Mas's lips curled upwards as Tal would catch on one of the secondary flaws of the plants, and the reason for the airtight doorway into the room. Mas flicked a hand in a slight waving gesture under his nose and fixed Tal with a faint smile. "In truth, it is something to the opposite. The perfumes I wear are often strong enough to overwhelm the scent of this room so I can work in here for extended periods of time. I have three specific scents that seem to counter the smell successfully and I attempt to cycle through them." Mas allowed his lover to gently tug him away and out of the room with no resistance. The loud sneeze that came from Tal in the next few moments was something of a surprise, and Mas was rather quick to push the door closed while Tal glared so accusingly at the plants within.

"I am still experimenting with them of course and I have high hopes of cultivating my own rare reagents for my personal creations in the future. I have not done nearly half as much work as I ought to be doing though. Ah..such wasted time. Well.. I've no intentions of wasting anymore of it." Mas firmly spoke as he locked the door with the glass key and tucked it back into his sleeve. "How are you feeling Taliesin?" He questioned after tightening his hold upon his lovers arm. "I have heard from the raiders that sometimes one can have a adverse reaction to the surface world plants. One was reported to have actually died, though I refuse to believe this until I have found such a example." Shifting his steps to carry them back through the library, Mas tilted his head a bit so he could lean his temple against Tal's lovely hair. "Aside from the library and the reagent garden, the rest of the rooms upon this floor are merely empty guest rooms. Truly empty. Mother saw no need to stock the room with so much as a rug or desk or bed as we have no guests she cares to entertain. I was thinking of decorating them in a theme of silver and purple once I take over."

Mas spoke lightly as they walked, the warmth and closeness of Tal filled him with a lazy sort of energy. Why did it seem more important right now to cuddle up somewhere with this beautiful male and waste the hours listening to him breath? He had so much that needed to be done now. Removing his mother from his way. Sweeping the House free of those that would be inclined to make trouble for him. Establishing his authority over the servants and the Raiders when they returned. Not to mention his experiments! Mas still had not yet determined what the focus of his studies ought to be! Instead Mas's mind was wandering to the earlier part of their conversation, and a warmth kindled in his belly. "I have given your earlier suggestion a bit of thought Taliesin. I believe it would make a fine celebration, a little party as it were. There are eight of the Watch to work through, I can see if it is possible to remove a mans skin and still have him survive. Or perhaps a experiment to see if I can replace a mans skin with another? What do you think of that? Then perhaps we can take a light meal before moving on to the execution. I shall have to think of a appropriate magic to use. Something that will take hours to achieve...i do wonder if there might be a way to entrap the spirit of the captain. Wouldn't it be keen to have a artwork display of his spirit reliving those hours in a endless loop? I fear I would have to hunt down a necromancer to collaborate my efforts with however. Then we can end the day with a grand banquet. You shall have to let the servants know what delicacies you find favorable to prepare for the banquet." Mas paused as he and Tal reached the exit door and twisted to face his lover. He shifted his other hand to curl around the other males waist as he internally weighed the merit of wasting a bit of time here before they moved on to the next floor. Tal's presence had filled Mas with such cheer. Their conversation left him feeling as tipsy as his first glass of wine had when he was younger. Wordlessly Mas leaned in towards Tal's lips, slightly emboldened by the day's conversation to take the initiative in seeking to press his lips to the others.

While Mas sealed off the room with those bizarre plants, Tal pulled out a handkerchief and covered his nose as a sneezing fit took hold. Once it died down Tal blew his nose and took an experimental sniffle, it seemed like the sneezing had stopped, but Tal still visibly tensed when Mas mentioned reports of people dying from their reaction to the plants. Mas might be dismissive of such reports, but Tal knew of several underdark plants that could kill when people inhaled their spores, so why not surface plants. Besides those claims seemed more realistic when the inside of your nose felt like it was on fire and your eyes started watering for no reason.

Tal was relieved to be away from the garden and inhaled deeply as they passed through the library, savouring the more familiar smells of ancient parchment and bound leather. Worried over his reaction to those foul plants, Tal paid little heed to what Mas was saying, only catching the last bit about decorating in themes of purple and silver. He frowned slightly but kept his opinions to himself, he was certain that Mas would go over the top and cross the line between decadence and gaudy, so long as he got to pick out the decor in his own rooms, he didn't really care. Tal supposed that if you were one of the richest Houses in the Underdark it only made sense to flaunt that wealth, why else have guests over if not to flaunt your power before them and an over the top display of wealth would certainly do that.

Mas' comments about the proposed execution got Tals full attention, this was the kind of thinking one should expect from the future leader of a powerful House. Tal turned and flashed a bright smile to Mas as they walked. "You have an insidiously evil mind, my love" In other circumstances such a comment might have been a criticism or reprimand, but if anything Tals voice carried a note of pride in it. Already his mind was ticking over, listing the spells best suited to an agonising or at least entertaining death. When Mas stopped Tal hardly took note, assuming the other was reaching to open the door for them, it was only as Mas pressed in for a kiss that Tal returned his mind to the moment.

Caught off guard, Tal was initially frozen as Mas' lips met his, but he quickly recovered and slipping his own arms about his lover returned the kiss eagerly, the closeness of their bodies and the soft touch of Mas' lips on his reignited Tals lust. As he broke away from the kiss Tal seemed to be debating something internally, then glancing quickly about the room to ensure they were alone he smirked at Mas and pressed the other up against the door frame. Tals lips devoured Mas', while eager fingers stroked up and down his lovers back, before settling with one caressing Mas' neck and the other kneading his rear. Breathlessly he whispered between quick kisses and the occasional slow lick. "Talk of cruel tortures and delicious kisses? Oh how you tempt me, my dear Mas" Tal pressed closer until his body was pinning Mas against the wall, hungry lips working their way down Mas' cheek and along his neck, switching between passionate kisses and soft bites before contenting himself with just gently nibbling on Mas' ear.

There was a moment when Mas worried that perhaps he had acted too impulsively. His head was still feeling light with the spark of excitement over Tal's words prior to the kiss. He felt pride at the others remark of how insidious his pondering was. But even more important, and potent, had been those last two little words. My Love.

MasD'auns worry quickly was banished when Tal wrapped his arms about him and returned the kiss with a eagerness that mas could certainly appreciate. The kiss was broken all too soon in Mas's mind. His blue eyes blinked and remained half lidded as he looked into the thoughtful gaze of his lovers face. What was he thinking about right now? Mas lifted one hand, his long slender fingers spread and reaching to gently brush against Tal's hair in that brief moment before that smirk blossomed over those handsome lips. Mas found himself pressed backwards, and the stone archway dug into his back through the thin material of his robe. The aggressive response from Tal was not a surprise, and it was welcomed wholeheartedly by Mas. However, he took a bit of cue from his lover, and attempted to press into the firmness of that kiss. His own lips hungrily met Tal's own while he felt those skillful hands upon his body. He could not stop the full body shudder that quickly followed the first of those little licks. Mas slipped the fingers of one hand up into that beautiful hair of Tals. He wanted to feel the strands between his fingers. That softness that coaxed him to press his face into the river fall of pure clean white and nestle into it. His other hand curled round Tal's waist so he could hold his lover against his front. Not that Tal needed him to... Mas felt his body flush with a aroused heat with the closeness of his lover, Tal already had him pinned quite firmly against the archway wall. Mas closed his eyes, and with a soft groan of pleasure he tilted his head backwards and arched his slender form against Tal's own. "Ah...Taliesin... What can I say?" He gasped out as the others lips moved on to his neck. Such stimulating bites! Such hot kisses! Mas pressed one knee to Tal's leg and slowly lifted it until he could press it into the others hip. "You inspire me my love. Bring out the worst in me I suspect." Mas attempted to make his voice light, yet he felt that a little eagerness filtered through when he spoke. Hmm...The rest of the tour could surely wait a few moments more... Mas's blue eyes flickered to the large wooden tables scattered through the study. Surrounded by the wisdom of the ages... "I want you...here...now. In the Library. Let's make this tour a bit more...intimate." He whispered with a lusty eagerness.

Smiling even as his lips continued to play along Mas' slender neck, Tal raised a hand and softly stroked Mas' face. "Inspire the worst in you? Oh I think I can do better, there's a lot of potential in you still my vicious little spider...." Tal's voice trailed off as he lost himself to the moment, savouring the flavor of his lovers flesh as his kisses became more passionate, quickly becoming bites that would no doubt mar Mas' delicate skin with bruises for the next few days. Mas would probably complain when he noticed, but right then Tal didn't care, he was all but lost to his lust. Hearing Mas voice his own lust, his own desires mirrored in his lovers voice almost pushed him over the edge. Tal kept just enough self control to pull back from the brink, he had every intention of fulfilling his lovers wish, but not before he had some fun first.

With quite a bit of mental effort, Tal slowed his kisses, forcing a stoic look on his face and pulling back from Mas, momentarily breaking all contact between them. He placed his hands on wall either side of Mas, hemming him in and creating a sense of closeness without actually touching him. "Is that so? You would have me commit a vulgar act of carnal lust here? In a library? Amongst these prized volumes of knowledge and power, a place of study and learning, your only thought is of satisfying your base desires?" Tals tone was one of mock disgust as he slowly shook his head as if disappointed, then very slowly he let a small smile creep upon his face. "But that said, who am I to deny a Master in his own House? And I certainly wouldn't want to give a man with such a cruel and vicious mind reason to wish ill of me. So I suppose I have little choice but to give into you demands, but I wanted it noted I do so under duress...."

By the time Tal was speaking the last line, his composure was cracking and a mischievous grin had spread across his face. Finally abandoning his pretense he wrapped his arms about Mas and pulled him into a long, passionate kiss that he only broke when he finally needed to take a gasp of air. "I can think of no man I would rather be with now..." And with that Tals hands began to tug at Mas' clothes, eager to be rid of the only thing barring him from the pleasures of his lovers body.

This man. This amazingly stimulating andintoxicating man. Mas honestly wondered how he could have lived his life in such prissy shallow ambiotionless manner. Hearing Taliesin speak of the potential he had sent ot flash's of eagerness through his very flesh. Yes. Yes. He wanted to live up to that expectation. He wanted to fully validate Taliesin's words, and then do far more. Mas's eyes fluttered closed as his will merely melted away beneath the heat of Tal's kisses. He felt the biteing touch of his lovers teeth, and responded with a low groan.Such hard bites! They did not break the skin, but the strength behind them left a faint ache under his skin that promised to ache all the more later on. He should have stopped him. he should have told him tnot to mark him so...but Mas honestly found itterribly difficult to tell Tal to stop when he was touching him. The pain merely became a reminder of Tal's interest and focus upon his flesh...and that was more then enough to allow him to do as he willed unchecked.

Tal pulled away from him, and mas did nothing to stifel the low throated whine of desire. His blue eyes opened and he arched his body up against Tals in a physical protest of the sudden loss of attention. no no! He did not want tal to stop now! His body trembled for his lovers touch. His lips parted, but his voice was silent as his lover would speak to him. The ache of his demanding body was such a distraction! His lust hazed mind nearly missed the mocking note to Tal's tone. He did not mean those words. he was not really disgusted. not really. He was playing...and OH! How Mas found such coy words more of a excitement. "I would have you commit such vulgar acts in the House Temple itself." He whispered in a tight husky and needy breath. Mas lifted and placed his long fingered hands upon Tal's waist, the tips gently digging into the fine fabric of the other mageas he pulled himself tight against Taliesin's form. "Ah Taliesin. You inspire me to blasphemy. It boils in my blood and burns at the very dark corners of my mind. Your duress is noted, but my flesh heeds not a single utterance of it. I need you. I need you to touch me, taste me. Take me! I would spill seed and sweat upon every floor of this House and fill it's passages with our cries of passion." Mas was silenced only by the passionate kiss he reciecved from Tal, and the mage answered it with all the hunger his enflamed lust possessed. He would have gladly sunk himself deeply enough into the kiss to render himself unconscious, save Tal had the sense to pull away, so he could speak again. Mas twisted a little in his own cloths while Tal tugged at them. In such a way he managed to jerk the tight robes loose enough to slip off his narrow shoulders. "Ah Taliesin... You are the only lover I wish for. You are the only one who makes me feel this way, I shall never want another in my bed save for you.

Tal didn't reply, his mind given over to his lust and his mouth far too busy teasing Mas' body to waste time voicing his approval, he wanted him. Tal wanted Mas like no other, he never really understood why. He told himself it was because the male was attractive of because he was rich or some such justification, but sometimes Tal felt he might prize Mas just as much even if the circumstances were different. A worrying thought, because why then did he feel so possessive of Mas, if not for the simple gratification of the flesh or to feed his greed on his Houses riches? Surely it wasn't lo- No. Tal wouldn't let his mind entertain such foolish nonsense, he wasn't a human nor one of the Drows pathetic surface cousins, he refused to accept he was capable of such emotions, it was lust that drove him nothing more.

As if to prove to himself that was the case or maybe just to banish such errant thoughts from his mind, Tal lost himself to his passion. He practically tore Mas from his clothes, discarding them to the floor as he half carried, half pushed the other Drow to the nearest table. There he forced Mas down onto his back and swiftly, and rather roughly, removed his trousers. Now that Mas lay completely bare, Tals motions slowed for a moment as fingers lightly trailed up the length of his lovers bodies, for a brief instant their eyes met and Tal seemed to loose himself in those pale blue eyes. Tal leaned in and kissed Mas deeply before taking the other with a rough passion that would leave Mas scratched, bruised and a little worse for wear.

Coupling with Taliesin was never a routine of actions and sensations. His lover overwhelmed him. His passion seemed to drown Mas, he felt like a small creature caught in a impossible undertow. Mas felt his garments torn from his body. The soft rich fabric ripped loudly in his ears, and he turned a eye to the robe with a minor flash of dismay. He adored that robe! He had always thought he looked wonderful in it! But his regret over the loss of the garment was quickly banished with a gasp. He was soon swept to the table, and found himself laid bare to his lover. Such eagerness! Such need! Such roughness! Mas welcomed Tal's passion and did his best, as always, to respond to his lovers needs. Honestly, was this a man that took him or a demon?

When finally his lover sated himself, Mas felt as if he had just taken a tumble down the stairs. His head swam and he felt a light bodied elation. Soon though that wonderful sense began to fade and the ache of his abused body drew itself to his attention. MasD'aun slowly cast his gaze down upon his form, a soft groan thrummed in the back of his throat. "I think...that I shall need to make certain there are padded sedans or rugs placed in all the rooms in the future." He remarked between deep breaths. Mas drew one of his hands down to gently brush his fingertips over his ribs slowly. Nothing was broken. Tal surely did not have such strength in him. But he could not deny that there was pain bruised into his pretty black skin. "My. You are a monster are you not my love?"

His lust spent, Tal lay on his back next to Mas panting deeply, a satisfied grin etched deeply onto his face as he starred glassy eyed up at the ceiling. Hearing Mas stir, Tal groped blindly with one hand until he found his lovers body, then started gently rubbing Mas' stomach. "Would you have me any other way? Besides, it was your idea in the first place. I was completely against the notion, but I was no match for your charms and was made a helpless slave to your passions." A mocking smirk on his face Tal leaned over to kiss Mas on the cheek, at the same time playfully poking the other man in the side.

"I'll not argue about the sedans though, that or contain yourself until we're somewhere more comfortable next time." Sitting up, Tal winced as he stretched his arms and back, painfully aware that the table had deposited splinters in some awkward places. "I'm going to ache come this evening." Looking down on Mas' body Tal noted the various bruises and scratches that covered his lover and his expression was one of satisfaction or even pride; like an artist gazing at a newly finished piece. "Your skin does bruise to such a beautiful shade... I hope you aren't broken? It wasn't too much for you? It certainly wouldn't do for the leader of a great House to be ruined by one quick tumble in the library."

Tal leaned down and kissed Mas slowly, his mouth toying lightly with Mas's upper lip before he wrapped his arms about and gently pulled him up against his chest. Sat with Mas nestled comfortably in his arms, Tal nuzzled against the side of Mas' neck, planting soft kisses as he spoke, with a tone that approached genuine concern. "You are alright? Aren't you? I wasn't too rough?"

Mas's blue eyes closed with that gentle touch. Tal's fingers were so skillful, so very enjoyable. His words coaxed a smile to his slightly swollen lips. "Absolutly not." He would answer with strong conviction. He would never want Tal to change. He was a strong viral mage with so much power and intelligence. He was a perfect companion. Someone who could encourage, goad, and aid him in achiveing greater power then he ever could on his own. With a small chuckle, he rolled his head to peer affectionatly upon Tal. "You are quiet correct. My own lust is to blame for this. I shall have to strive to exhibit more control in the future." He replied with amusement as he was kissed. The slight poke he recieved drew a rather... unmanly giggle from his throat.

"Hmm. You are extremely hard to resist Taliesin, I believe I shall need to definatly implement the sedans immediatly." Tal rose and stretched, and Mas merely remained lounging upon the table admireing his form. He was so Goddess blessed beautiful. Every movement he made was so fluid, like the most graceful arcane gestures. There was a sublime perfection in his body, a striking beauty that no female would ever be able to compete with. As Taliesin would remark on his own body, mas cast his eyes down to the darkening spots and slight scrapes that beaded miniscule dropletts of blood. "Mmmm. Nothing feels broken." He remarked and finallypressed himself up onto his elbows. "I shall be fine. I enjoyed every moment of it and would willingly do so again with you my love." Mas's lips quirked slightly as he felt he was being lightly teased. "Oh no. I am certainly not ruined." he remarked.

Tal then kissed him, and there was a moment of enjoyable silence that followed. Mas pressed up with his palms when Tal embraced him, and his own hands were quick to lightly drape around his lovers body. After their energetic lovemaking, the simple caress of lips on skin was certainly a good way to end the encounter. Mas followed Tal's example in lightly playing his lips over the others neck, ear, cheek, and shoulder. He paused as Tal expressed honest concern over him. Drawing his head back, Mas lifted a hand and swept some loose strands of hair from his eyes. "You were not too rough, and I am fine. These aches are nothing a good salt bath and nights rest will not erase. Though the bruises may linger a bit longer then that, I am happy to wear them as they have come from you."
PostPosted: Fri Nov 13, 2009 4:37 am

Tal let out a content sigh and gently brushed his hand through Mas' hair, reluctant to break his hold on his lover. Still the minor protests of his body from the hard wooden table and chill library eventually got the better of him. Planting one last kiss on Mas' cheek Tal released his lover and stood up, stretching again as he did. "I think it's time we resumed that tour, yes? We'll catch a chill if we lay about like this much longer and I want you in the best of health."

Bending over Tal started picking up his strewn clothing and getting dressed, now that he had satiated his lust he was able to focus on the practicalities again. First and foremost he still wanted to see these fabled vaults that lay under the house, but there were a few other matters he'd like to get to before the day was done. However at the rate they were going it would take a week to see the whole estate, with half of that time wasted in love making. Well perhaps not wasted as such... Still Mas would have to learn some self control, it was unseemly for him to submit to his lust so readily. Not just because he was the future leader of the House, but because he was a mage and magic users required a disciplined mind.

As Tal mused on this while dressing, it never occurred to him that he was as bad as Mas; perhaps worse since all this occurred to him, yet he still gave into his lust. Once dressed Tal used a few simple spells to tidy up his appearance, then turned to Mas. "So where to next my love?" While he waited on Mas to finish dressing, Tal started to wander the book shelves idly glancing at some of the works on display.

Mas leaned into those touching strokes. He could so easily sink into a mindless state of content right now, reguardless of the discomfort of the table and the chill of the room. It was Tal who chose to return them to their original purpose of that day. Mas rolled from the table and paused to place his hands upon the back of his hips and he stretched. He could feel a few pleasent pops travel down his spine, and there were a few pleaseing aches in his back, shoulders, and hip area. Mas turned a little, and caught a beautiful profile of his lover bent over. A part of him was tempted to reach out and pat that lovely black rump. But he placed his urge aside and plucked his own robes from the floor. Mas held hem up, and tsked softly at the obvious tears along the seams and neck area. He draped the cloth over his neck and plucked the decorative belt from the floor. Mas lightly twisted one of the dangling wands from it's clip and waved it over each of the tears with a graceful flick of his wrist. The simple mending cantrip placed to right what had happened to the cloth. He was grateful he had the forsight to imbue a wand with such magic now. He would have to ensure he kept this wand on him at all times in the future now.

Tal had turned to speak to him, and Mas lifted his blue eyes to glance at his lover while replying. "I thought we could skip the mundane rooms. You really do not need to see the kitchen and sevants wing really. I suppose all that remains are the vaults and the dungeon if you have a interest in seeing that. I think there are a few creatures locked up down there still. Micarreths things really, I've had no use for the dungeons yet and mothers keepers have only sentenced a random servant here and there for who knows what slights." Mas slipped the wand back into it's place at his hip and tugged the decorative cloak over his shoulders while Tal peroused the wild array of books. Mas had wandered this chamber since he was a young elfling, touched just about every book himself and only read through an eighth. He tried to recall the sections contents that Taliesin currently admired. Was it the section that contained a mixed collection of magical properties of various creatures, elements, and oddities? Or was it the section that contained the combined therioes of mages of House Barrith in the past? Therioes that were largely written in codex and protected magically so as to give the seeker of their insight headaches merely from attempting to unravel what each mage had surely thought was unique secrets of great power? Mas shook his head a little. Eventually his own book would be tucked in that chaotic mind trap. Long after he was dead and no one was able to determin what to make of his master spellbook. But any good House kept hold of such items just in case...

Now fully redressed, and with his hair only a touch out of place, Mas swept over to join his lover. He offered his open hand to Tal in a poliet gesture as he spoke. "Shall we descend now then? The next meal period encroachs and it would be nice to have a hot soak before hand."

Taking Mas' offered hand Tal quirked an eyebrow and began to tease his lover. "Another bath? But you only just got out of one a few hours ago. No wonder your skin is so soft and beautiful, you must have polished it smooth by now. And you're hungry again?" Shaking his head in mock dismay, Tal linked his arm with his beloved and started to wards the library door. "I guess it's nice living in the lap of luxury and having so many meals a day. I'm afraid, I'm more used to eating alone and just scrounging up what ever I had to hand when my stomach grumbled. You keep feeding me like this and I'll start to get plump around the waist"

Stepping out into the hall, Tal looked one way then the other as if searching for something, then shrugged slightly and waited for Mas to take the lead. "You're right, I can explore myself and poke about in the less interesting nooks and crannies later. I would be interested in seeing the dungeons while we're at it. I think they may become more useful in the near future and it'd be nice to see what we have to hand. Then we can have a snack if you insist. We'll go to the vault after that." Tal was eager to see the vaults he'd heard so much about and didn't want to rush his visit just so Mas could hurry for a bath and lunch. So he'd be patient a little longer and wait until his pet had rested and had his fill, so they could spend the rest of the afternoon looking about the vaults.

Leaning in close to Mas, Tal lightly kissed the other Drow on the cheek and brought his mouth close enough to the others ear to lick it if he wished and whispered softly. "Well then? Lead on my love"

Mas could not help but laugh lightly as the pair left the library behind. "Ah Talisin. I am flattered you have noticed the care I have taken with my flesh. All the better for you to enjoy of course." His mood was so light..so high... He could not help but find humor in some of Talisin's teasing words. "Hmm. Well you will no longer need scrounge for anything. If you ever feel the urgings of hunger you may request any sort of meal you wish from the servants." Mas replied with a smile, which was quickly followed with a sweeping glance over Tal's form. "I do not believe that shall be a problem. I am certain that nightly exercises shall keep you very fit and fine."

Once they were out in the hall, Mas paused only for a few seconds as he took a second glance to ensure he was presentable. It would do no good to have the servants seeing him disheveled...of course. At the moment Mas was in such a good mood that the gossip of the houses slaves hardly concerned him. He merely wanted to look good on Talisin's arm...or was his lover on his arm?

Mas took the lead then while Tal would agree with him about poking around the slightly uninteresting corners of the House. His mind was already dancing on ahead of the pair as he planned what sort of path they would take. Hmm..Visiting the dungeon was bound to be dirty and unpleasant in the physical sense. There was no telling what they would find below. Mas did not want to risk getting ill and losing his appetite. It would surely make him appear weak...not to mention that it would most likely be far less interesting dinner conversation. At least in Mas's mind.

When the pair reached the first floor of the House, Mas stopped before a pair of descending stair cases. Both were closed firm by black steel doors, and both were marked with a bleak spider engraving. However...one led to the dungeons, and the other descended to the first of three levels of vaults. Mas reached into his robes, and just as before he fished out a small key. This one however was made of plain black steel and had a spider for the wide turning head. Mas inserted the key into the lock of the right door. "On second thought...let's visit the Vaults first. I have bragged so often of them, it only seems right to let you see the validity of my boasts hmm?" Mas waited as the door magically swung itself open, and he began to lead the way down a rather wide staircase with large flat steps that took two steps just to cross. "Plus I am sure it will not hurt in impressing you and giving you more cause to stay and protect me?" Mas spoke while they descended. The air began to take on a slightly stale and unused taste the further down they went, and Mas was able to take note of dust that had gathered in thick clumps at the corners of the stairs. Obviously the servants did not bother to clean this particular stairwell. He could only imagine how dusty the two lower levels would be.

Once they reached the floor, a wide hallway with two dark-steel double doors standing opposite were set. Mas strode confidently down to the one on the left, and used the same key he had before to unlock the door. "It may not seem like there is little in the way of defenses here...but this is only the first level. There are two more sub-levels, in which there are magical wards and the like in place. Not to mention the vault guard." Mas made a flippant gesture down the hall then pushed one of the two doors open.

The room inside was pitch black, which really meant nothing to drow of course. Though, for a bi of ambiance, Mas flicked his fingers holding the key in a imperious manner and murmured softly. "Ingi Faen Vau" Upon speaking the simple incantation, tiny blue balls of fairy light winked to life from blue gemstones set into the walls. Mas followed a narrow path into the vault and turned to stand with a chaotic pile of gems heaped taller then he stood to his left, and a similar pile of coins spread out like a dragons nesting grounds to his right. Mas gestured about him and shrugged. "This is the main vault in which all House expenses are taken from. It sits a nice seventy five feet deep and sixty five feet wide. Sadly no stock has been taken of it's contents and this pitiful path here is the only means of entry. Past this point one must literally crawl over the hoard to get to whatever is in the back..." Mas turned and placed one hand upon his hip as he glanced over the waist high mess of valuables. "There are magical items buried in here of course. I would dare say more then a sack full of ioun stones as well. Normally when the Raiders return home, coins and gems are simply cast in here for House use. The vault across the way is stocked with jewelry and works of precious metal art. It really looks no better then this. Fortunately, the ones who created these vaults saw fit to include some useful protective enchantments. Things do not get dusty here, there is no variation in heat or humidity. So it perfectly preserves the more delicate things." Mas placed a hand upon the pile of gems and hiked up his robe as he unskillfully clambered atop the pile. He wobbled a little as the gem's shifted beneath him, but he managed to get a few steps in where the gems seemed to have settled more stably. His body hunched slightly, despite the fact he had a few inches between his head and the ceiling. Still, he was able to place one hand up onto the tiles of the ceiling to help keep himself stable as he carefully picked his way over the mounds.

"It dips a little lower once you get a bit in here... Once I take control I am going to have some slaves start properly cataloging all of this and separating it. I want to know exactly what I have..and to remove the magical items to another vault altogether..." He paused then, and twisted his head to smile slyly over his shoulder at Tal then. "Of course..this is not the best vault. Technically this one and the vault across the hall are the only two I am...officially allowed entry to. However I have had for the past few years mothers key to the lower levels...there is a magnificent store of scrolls and books...Staffs and wands the likes of which I have been unable to discover the traits of... I suspect it is that vault which would hold your interest most my love?"
