((Well, he's basically hiding in one of those servant elevator things. You know, the one that's hidden in a wall and is rather small that they occasionally have in REALLY old expensive houses on TV? XD Between the basement and main floor. :3 He's sneaky. Lol.))

Cody tried hard not to giggle as he heard Ebony finally give up at trying to ignore him and thus find him. The toddler heard movement not too far away and ever so slowly used the pulley system to raise the little elevator box up a few inches. From there, he peeked through the hairline crack around the hidden door to see what Ebony was doing.

Well, it was more like the edges were rather small and the handle was a two inch piece of string that hung out along the edge of the carpet, matching it in color and hue oddly enough. Cody had found it one day and upon pulling on it, watched in amazement as the door magically opened and revealed a small, wooden box that was PERFECT for hiding. Since then, he had found all the other hidden doors and even some rather clever hiding places. Like the one in the attic behind a bunch of dusty boxes.

((They should, but Cody made a deal with Ary. She fixed them to be silent and such while he promised to stay out of her room. If he broke the deal, Ary would tell Shadai of the hiding place and if Ary said anything, Cody got three items of choice from her room. XD He's a rather clever child. >_> ))

Cody grinned, seeing that Ebony was searching for him. She was even crawling around, trying to find him. Well, she'd have to think a little more creatively if she planned on finding him. Slowly, he lowered the box, just in case she found the secret hatch. Now, if she did, she would only see an empty space in the wall with two ropes to the side. Not suspicious at all...

((She will when she gets home cause Shadai had to leave and Ebony was there already.))

Cody squeaked as his hiding place was revealed and was suddenly facing Ebony. Grinning sheepishly, the toddler shifted a bit, looking at his toes. "Hi Ebony," he said softly, then giggled. "You found me! Want to hide too? Is that pudding? Let's go get some!" he spoke quickly, changing the subject.

Slipping out of his hiding place, the toddler quickly wandered into the kitchen. Wait, wasn't Ebony kindness, which meant she wouldn't get mad at him? Besides, he was just playing around...

Cody sighed, but nodded, snuggling into the hug Ebony gave him before climbing back into his chair. "Kay, won't hide again. Why not like hide-n-seek?" he asked, curious but respecting the fact that she didn't wish for him to play any hiding games. She was a guest, in a sense, and thus going against her word meant trouble. And lots of it if she told his mom.

"Yum! Puddin'!" Cody gasped, giggling and wriggling about in his chair upon seeing it being spooned out, eagerly waiting for her to hand it to him. It looked really good, that was for sure.

"Oh... I sorry for hiding then," Cody replied softly, feeling bad for upsetting Ebony. She was rather nice and didn't deserve to be scared. Upon being handed the pudding, though, his entire face brightened, digging into the dessert with delight.

"Pudding was yummy! Thank you," the toddler thanked upon finishing, wiping the small bits that had missed their target off his face. "What we do next?" he asked, suddenly wondering when his mother would be home. It had been a few hours already and she had said she would be home around dinner yet... He glanced at the clock, unable to tell time but knew what time dinner was usually at by watching the two hands. It didn't look anywhere near time, but had he known it would've been about an hour till then.

Kicking his feet a bit, he glanced at the older spawn, wondering what she would have in mind for their next activity.

Cody giggled and shrugged. "I dunno. Can play game. Board game, I mean. Like... uhm... Candy Land!" he gasped, giggling and getting off the chair. "I know where it is! It downstairs, I go get it," he called, dashing downstairs and grabbing the game before rushing back upstairs at a slightly slower pace now that he had something in his hands.

"See? Candy Land!" he giggled, grinning excitedly. Granted, half the pieces were missing, like with a number of his games, but it had enough there for two or three people to play. Any more and they would be in trouble, since the pieces were hidden throughout the house and his room.

Cody nodded and waited for the table to be cleared before climbing back onto his chair and setting up the game. Granted, he had to glance at his mum's cheat sheet she had made for him on occasion. By the time Ebony had finished washing the dishes, the game had been set up and the two remaining game pieces on the board. "Who start?" he asked, smiling excitedly. It was one of his favorite games, after all.

Cody nodded and pointed to the small stack of cards. "T' move, you draw one. Den you go to the space it says," he replied, drawing one and moving his piece to the right spot. "Den, you do what the space says to. If nothing there, don't have t' do anything," he added, grinning as he noticed the space was blank. There weren't that many that were blank.

((We can skip ahead to the end of the game, don't care who wins, and have Shadai return and can then call this done. ^_^ ))
