its not the old martha it is a different Martha. Besides the different Martha and DIfferent Music it is exactly the same

Because she wasn't "old" her character was in one episode an episode that didn't even air. meaning she was never technically considered a Martha for the show since most people have never even heard about the show. Meaning that she was replaced before the show could start meaning that she didn't have time to age the character or make an imprint on her charcter. She had the exact same role as Annette O'Toole in Pilot. Meaing she wasn't old she was different.
